I just ordered 2 Chicken Avocado Ranch bowls to go. I came home with no chicken on the bowls and rotten avocados. I will not be back.

We started with the hummus, and the vegetables that came with it were amazing!! Super fresh and actually so flavorful. Definitely not your average hummus plate. I got the steak and eggs, and the potatoes were FIRE. So garlicky and flavorful, easily my favorite part of the whole meal. I also tried the Caesar wrap which honestly wasn't my favorite, just mostly lettuce tbh. But everything else was incredible so it didn't really take away from the experience. I also tried chicken bone broth for the first time and it was so flavorful and perfect for a Sunday. The overall vibe was really bright and relaxed, perfect reset after the weekend. Loved this place so much and would definitely come back again.

Plus, there's some nice outdoor seating so you can bring your dog. I will say that the prices are more than I can justify on a regular basis, but it feels like a nice, reasonably healthy splurge. The dishes are thoughtfully composed, well seasoned, and always fresh. Avocado toast is usually a throwaway offering, but they do it right here, fully loaded with pesto, heirloom tomato, and a ton of avocado. There have been some recent changes that are a bummer though. I'm really sad that they seem to have taken the vegan chorizo and potato hash off the menu, which was simply the best brunch dish. Happy hour options are also greatly reduced, leaving very little for vegans, and I'm sorry but on what planet is $8 for pickles a good deal? I still love the place, but it's not in regular rotation.

Price - $10-15 for a plate of noodles without any protein and veggies. So it can easily add up to make your plate an extra $5-$10 if you add anything to it. 3. Ambiance - this is a bar and restaurant setting. Great for hang outs with friends and family. Dress code is casual. 4. Food - I had their CARBONARA PASTA and CHICKEN ARROSTO. With a side of salad and Garlic bread. Everything was good and tasty. The noodles were fresh, thick, and different. However, it was super salty. Did I pick the wrong sauce perhaps or was the chef a bit heavy handed on the salt? 5. Cleanliness - Dining area was outdoors in the back on a cold day. Good thing they had a heating lamp near by. They managed their tables well. No dirty plates lingering around. Restrooms were not bad either. Small, but clean. SUMMARY It's great that they make fresh noodles, but $20+ for a plate of noodles is a bit much. Overly paying for salty food, I rather go to a chain Italian restaurant. Not worth the hype in my opinion.

It's family-owned, warm, and genuinely welcoming in a way that feels increasingly rare. From the moment you walk in, you can tell they care deeply about both the food and the people they're serving. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can taste the quality in every bite -- nothing feels rushed or phoned in. The portions are generous without being over the top, and everything we've tried has been full of authentic flavor and perfectly seasoned. It's the kind of meal where you're already planning what you'll order next time before you've even finished. And Gio? Truly outstanding. He strikes that perfect balance of attentive without hovering. He knows the menu inside and out, offers thoughtful recommendations, and makes you feel genuinely taken care of. You can tell he takes pride in what he does -- he's warm, personable, and elevates the entire experience. Service like that makes a difference, and Gio absolutely delivers. What really sets Farmand's apart is that combination of incredible food and heartfelt hospitality. Austin has no shortage of great restaurants, but Farmand's Kitchen stands out because it feels personal and intentional every single time. It's one of those places we recommend immediately when someone asks where they should eat -- and we'll absolutely keep coming back.

I was excited about the redfish sandwich, but for $22 it was very bland with hardly any seasonings or flavor. When you have to add salt and pepper that's not good. My friend had the scampi and that was better. That sourdough was awesome but it didn't need the butter spread.. because you could just sop up the scampi butter. I think over time this restaurant will do better.

From the moment we arrived, the staff has consistently gone above and beyond, creating an atmosphere that truly defines hospitality. During our stay, I've had the chance to meet many of the people who work behind the scenes to make this resort feel welcoming and effortless for guests. Tonight's review is for Crenshaw's Bar & Eatery, a spot I've now visited several times during our stay. My first visit was simple -- just a quick glass of wine to unwind. The following evening, I returned for the mezze platter, which was flavorful and thoughtfully prepared. Tonight, I stopped in again for a glass of pinot noir and ordered the Brussels sprouts, served with rich chunks of pork fat that elevated the dish into something memorable. Equally impressive was the service. My bartender, Cariel, was outstanding -- warm, engaging, and genuinely easy to talk with. Whether the conversation turned to sports, travel, or even Brussels sprouts, she made the experience feel personal rather than transactional. Over the past few days, encounters like this have reinforced what makes Omni Barton Creek stand out: a clear commitment to hiring people who understand service as both professionalism and connection. At Crenshaw's, guests can expect attentive, friendly service delivered with confidence and care -- a true extension of the resort's high standard of hospitality.

I was really craving a great salad, so I decided to go in. At first you walk up and order, and then the clerk at the front, like all other places turns the screen around and says "One last question", and then stares at you, while you read their 3 tipping options. So you're standing there, guilted into tipping, by an individual that only pressed a couple of buttons, only to have the kitchen get your order wrong. At an establishment like this, it would be nice if you could tip at the end, after the whole experience, instead of out of obligation at the beginning, because you have an individual begging for it. Anyways. So after I ordered I waited, only to get a $20 salad that had 4 small pieces of chicken and with the Miso dressing which I didn't order. I ordered the Lemon Avocado Vinaigrette which came with no snap peas, when I ordered extra. Then when I finally was able to flag someone down and tell them what had happened, she said "Ok" and went back and got a bowl of snap peas. No "I'm sorry" or "Let us remake it" I wouldn't have had them remake it because I hate wasting food.....but what I hate more is feeling like crap, undervalued and unappreciated. Where was the customer service? If you want a great salad, go here......but don't expect to get what you ordered, after you've been strong armed into tipping, and when you bring it up, expect an eye roll like you're inconveniencing them. I think I'll be taking all my Rollingwood women's group friends, to the new spot for a try......Sweet Green in the HEB parking lot.....or I'll go into HEB and buy a whole rotisserie chicken for $6 and a bag of salad for another $4 and go enjoy two salads at home. For such a casual place, y'all sure act uppity, entitled and as if, you're serving Grey Poupn on top of a Grade A slab of Prime Rib.

They're especially known for their Roman-style pizza so I highly recommend giving it a try.
