I remember when this place first opened up and it was THE dessert spot! I used to go v often so it was v nostalgic trying it again. the hype has definitely died down and the store was p much empty the whole time my friend and I were there (weekday afternoon). when we got there, the worker was ready to take our order. he was nice and answered our questions (mainly about the split option - which is just as it sounds; one cup split into 2 half cups with different flavors & toppings in each). we were excited about that one since we came from eating and didn't want a full one. while we waited, there was a small claw machine with cute Pokémon plushies. my friend tried to win me one but the claw was painfully weak. it's still a fun little addition to the store! we ordered a regular snowcream with: strawberry flavor and mochi topping - my friend ordered this and as you can see in the pic, it was a huge mountain! we were surprised since it looked more than half a cup esp compared to my green tea one, but no complaints! I didn't try it since I'm not a fan of mochi but she seemed to enjoy it! green tea flavor and egg pudding topping + a drizzle of condensed milk - I was underwhelmed by the flavor as it did not have a good strong green tea flavor. I remember always ordering this flavor but it tasted as if it was frost bitten and lost most of its flavor. also it was mostly melted when I got it. the egg pudding was good and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it as a topping option as I usually never do for dessert spots! overall, I would come back for a cold sweet treat if I'm around the area, but it isn't something I'd go out of my way for. love the variety of toppings they offer though (I even saw ube cookies which I'm v interested in!)

It was definitely not busy at all when we went, so plenty of seating, but for some reason the tables were dirty and sticky. Otherwise it's a cool spot to grab a treat and go.
Many topping and snow flavor selections at this place! I got a large vanilla snow with mochi, star berries and Oreo crumbs on top with a drizzle of condensed milk. It tasted like I was eating a strawberry Oreo ice cram - it was perfect. A large can be easily shared with a group of people but I secretly think I should have gotten a large to myself. Service was great, staff very patient
I LOVE SweetSnow! I've come here quite often for a sweet snack or after meal dessert. I usually get the shaved ice or Halo Halo, and sometimes Mais Con Hielo. It's PERFECT for a hot day! There's a variety of flavors and toppings to try. The inside of the place is cute. There's a claw machine, a wall where people can hang polaroids, and clipboards that have their specialities/employees' favorites. It's small inside, but there's a few tables and chairs to dine in. SweetSnow is located in a plaza with other businesses and there's enough parking. The staff are sweet, the place is popular, and the vibes are always good here. Highly recommend!!!
Great place for all your dessert and shaved ice cravings. My brother highly recommended Sweetsnow to us and so glad he did. Delicious Halo Halo with very fine ice and not too sweet with all the perfect ingredients. It included toppings and also ube ice cream, egg pudding, coconut, ube halaya to name a few. The strawberry with mango bursting boba and fine shaved ice was perfect. Customer service was also excellent. The guy working behind the counter was very helpful and nice. He also gave recommendations and went over the menu with us. We informed him that our child has peanut and tree nut food allergies so we are concerned about cross contamination. He was kind enough to get a new scooper and reassure us they don't use the same tools for boba and tree nuts. Thank you Sweetsnow staff! We will definitely recommend this place to all our social circles. Can't wait to come back. To get more stamps on our cards. Did I mention they give stamp cards towards a free one after your 10th stamp?
Absolutely Delicious!!! The young lady was such a sweetheart and very helpful being that this was my 2nd time trying this at this new location, the Taro was so delicious along with the lychee and red bean topping with the condensed milk, they were out of Egg custard topping but I'll be back for that next time!!
Such a sweet treat! Had this place bookmarked for a while and when those cravings hit, I'm glad I was in that vicinity. Located in a little shopping mall near the Starbucks. You wouldn't be able to tell what kind of delicious treats they have in store from the outside. First time experience was great, they even have a vegan option (mango is juice based) you're welcome! Anyway I opted for a mango snow huge sizes regular can definitely feed 2 people! Toppings optional so of course I paired mine with condensed milk! It was great, I think the best flavor was my sons, he got the taro it was perfect and they added the little mochis which he calls marshmallows! Strawberry was very tasty as well! I am definitely a returning customer !!

Not only is the ice cream the right consistency so it doesn't melt right away, but the macaron is baked to perfection. There is an array of ice cream sandwich flavors and a variety of shaved ice toppings. Next time I will try and get the chocolate mint ice cream (it was all gone by the time I arrived :( Most of the macaron sandwiches were sold out when we arrived (around 1:30ish) and we were told "what's out here is all that we have." Not sure if this is all the time or just some fluke Macarons ordered: 1.) cherry- cherry chunks inside!!! 2.) fruity pebbles 3.) toffee 4.) strawberry vanilla Other: -small parking lot -not busy - cash/card/tap - tables inside and one table outside

The whole point is have ice cream with every bite, right?!? Sweet Snow has solved this dilemma by using macaron cookies! GENIUS! Don't know if they knew the MILK people (RIP) by The Grove in Los Angeles, but they started this macaron thing and thankfully SweetSnow has incorporated into their menu! THANK YOU!!! Located in the Northridge/Reseda area of Los Angeles off of Reseda Blvd. Lots of parking spots available in its strip mall home. Modern look inside and service is friendly and quick. Comfortable temperature inside so your cool treats don't melt too fast. Alrighty, Let's get our freeze on!! MACARON ICE CREAM SAMMIE: These are all pre-made. Such a fun spot to try something a little different! It's kind of like a snow cone, but creamier and way more indulgent. The texture is soft and smooth, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. It gives frozen yogurt vibes, but with a unique twist that's worth checking out if you're in the mood for something new. The staff was super helpful and friendly, and the indoor seating made it a nice little spot to cool off and enjoy your treat. Definitely a sweet stop I'd recommend if you're in the area! read more
Food 5/5: corn shaved ice was SO GOOD!!!!! Oh my goodness wow. My husband got halo halo and he said it wasn't that good because it was too sweet but I highly recommend the corn flavor. Came back today on the last day before they close the location. This time we had the strawberry flavor. It was light and sweet, but we preferred the honeydew. Good service and very clean. There was a steady flow of customers. We will miss this little gem in the valley. There are plenty of boba shops but too few shave ice. read more

I loved the halo halo, filled with different toppings that gives it lots of texture and tasty goodness! The only thing I had to change is the container. It's difficult to mix everything together, as main toppings were at the bottom. I had to ask for a separate bowl to dump it out to mix it. ***if the owner is listening, please change the container to a bowl instead. I'm definitely stopping by again when I'm visiting Northridge. Still thinking about how yummy and refreshing it was. read more
Sweetsnow is a great option for a cold dessert! The employees are friendly and prices are decent. My usual go-to is a large taro shaved ice with ube cookie crumbles, mochi, and condensed milk. The portion is generous, and the large size is, indeed, quite large! Be sure to check-in for 2 free toppings! The gentleman working on Thursday noon was very chipper and nice. Saw a lot of care going into making someone's halo-halo orders. Definitely have to try that out sometime. I've heard this place traded hands, and I think the new owners are doing a good job keeping sweetsnow going with its great desserts. I only recently started visiting this spot again and I'm glad I did. read more

Pretty good! Good amount of options to choose for the ice cream, toppings, and drizzles. They have shaved iced as well. They have a good amount of sitting areas inside and some games to play. I'm not sure why but they leave the close sign on? Also I felt bad there was a huge party in front of us and a good amount of people behind us in line but there was only ONE worker. One worker came later on but we waited about 20-30mins to order because of how busy the ONE worker got. They work well but just they need to have more staff. read more

I am personally not a fan of their shaved ice cream / fruit thing, but boy oh boy do I love me a good macaron ice cream sandwich. I tried their ube flavor and it was delicious. Takes 5-8 minutes fo thaw the sandwich, so I don't recommend biting into it right away. I'm also not crazy about rainbow sprinkles, which come by default, but I prefer their small circle sprinkles to the conventional, pill-shaped sprinkles - for whatever that's worth. The kicker, though, was the price... A whopping $7 for an ice cream sandwich! Still, it was perfect for two to share. Easy grab and go, and the location is in a strip mall with ample parking spots (though it gets busy at night). I've had the shaved ice cream thing, and trust me that the macaron ice cream sandwich is the true star here. The flavor of the shaved ice cream was fleeting and overall bland, from what I remember. I'll be back for these sandwiches soon! read more
Delicious and quaint little spot. A few tables inside and out, open late on the weekends! Very generous portions. We ordered the classic BINGSOO with a substation for the green tea flavor. They provide a cornucopia of toppings and it's reasonably priced. Definitely be back! read more

Sweetsnow! We have been coming here for almost 8 years now. Still our favorite Snow Spot! We all love the Original flavor. It is so good , fluffy and it just melts in your mouth. They have so many topping to choose from , so you can definitely get creative with it. The Regular size is a great size. (so big) Staff is friendly and now with COVID follow every rule ;) Give it a try , you wont regret! read more

CHECK-IN FIRST to get two free toppings!! So this is one of the last of its kind in the area after Blockheads closed down. If you haven't tried something like this, they use an ice shaver to shave frozen cream to give it a fluffy texture. As it melts it bonds back into almost ice cream. It's pretty yummy but unfortunately, I didn't get that fluffy texture with mine. It was practically shaved ice. I've been here plenty of times before this was my first time in a long and I ordered a green tea snowcream with strawberries and mochi with a drizzle of condensed milk. There was barely any taste with the green tea and felt like they skimped on the condensed milk. Like drops of condensed milk. It was sad. It was also sad that they got rid of rice balls out of their toppings. Sigh. I'm not sure we'll be back unless our family has a craving but I think that will be our last time in a long time. read more

Yes, all snow cream flavors contain 2% milk EXCEPT for our mango flavor. Mango is our vegan option.
Do they not sell halo halo anymore? I don't see on the menu list for takeout?
