Hunt and gather has dispelled me of that notion, because HOT DAM this is good food! We had heard that Hunt and Gather was a place to get a good meal, so we made a reservation a few days ahead. We were seated promptly, by a friendly hostess. The wine and drink list was good, we were all able to easily find things we liked. My friend and I shared a bottle of White Wine, as we intended to have lighter meals. The server was VERY conscious of and accommodating to my allergies, which is always appreciated. For main, I chose a piece of trout, my favorite fish. It was beautifully seasoned and prepared. It came with roasted potatoes and vegetables and a creamy sauce that was fantastic. It went very well with the wine we had chosen. For dessert I had a piece of the Sweet Potato pie, which was delightful, however, my husband won the dessert round with his praline ice cream.
