Great food and great service. What was even better is that the price were very reasonable. The other nice thing is it is a very dog friendly establishment Enjoyed the trip and the dinner. The views are amazing from the outdoor deck

WOW! So delightful, we absolutely LOVED eating here! We had some incredible appetizers (mushrooms with sausage and the beets) and the entrees were ON POINT (we got the new york, rib eye, and filet). The bread pudding was to die for! The service was wonderful and we even got to meet the local kitty. Great spot, would 100000% recommend it for anyone looking for some spectacular food!

Located off the beaten path, this hidden gem was a pleasant surprise. Their farm-to-table concept with locally sourced fresh vegetables, fruits, meats are healthy & very tasty. Beautiful scenery, friendly service , cozy ambiance. We really had a wonderful time. Reservation only. Open Fri-Sun. Highly recommend!

A hidden gem with amazing view and tasty food!!! Was nervous on our way there- it's a 3-mile detour on our way from Capitol reef to Tropic. It's well hidden in trees and mountain. It's totally worth the drive! Didn't try their famous burger- heard beef from their own ranch. But everything we ordered is amazing! It's attached to ranch guest house. Wish we knew this place earlier and could have chosen to stay here! Next time!!!

I had the trout which was melt in your mouth delicious and my husband loved the ribs. The vibe was so cool and Matthew strummed the guitar and sang beautifully throughout the meal. He even took requests. I loved his story about the Garth Brooks concert in NYC. It was such a warm, welcoming vibe and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

We missed the live music since we arrived so early to snag a seat (place fills quickly!) FOOD: Popcorn provided as a snack-- yum! We ordered the steak and ribs, which were both good. The steak was simply seasoned but cooked medium rare as requested and tender. The ribs were tender (not quite fall-off-the-bone but easy to eat) and the barbecue sauce was tasty with a bit of a kick. We could each choose two sides, so we chose soup (red pepper and Gouda, like a tasty spin on tomato soup) and loaded baked potato (well done!) for the steak, and mashed potatoes (served broccoli instead, but it's fine) and onion rings (tasty & crispy). Condiments including ketchup, A1 sauce and mayonnaise were all on the table for easy access. SERVICE: Very nice and attentive. OVERALL: Very good choice among the relatively limited options nearby. Seats do fill up quickly. We missed the live music but were seated with the first seating without a wait, so we were content.

The menu is creative and interesting and includes a range of hearty items, many of them fried, but some also with some healthy ingredients. Have any dietary concerns or questions? Just ask. Everything is made fresh to order and they'll accommodate any requests with a smile. I made the mistake of going for the Chicken & Waffles, just because so many reviewers focused on this dish, and because it seemed like a decadent, standout choice. Bad idea. The chicken was burnt to a crisp (I broken my knife trying to slice into it), and the waffle underneath was the opposite: flabby and dull. Plus it's a one-note dish. Not a lot of complexity compared to the many other interesting choices on this menu like the Dosadilla or Indigo Burrito. Try those instead. The sleeper hit? The loaded fries! Who knew? The "wild style" fries are fresh cut and perfectly cooked, and the toppings of pulled pork and sauteed onions and sauteed greens make for an outstanding combination. Even a tiny bit healthy. Get this.

Vegan & gluten-free options. Unfortunately the food execution was poor. I LOVE cardamom so I ordered the chicken & waffles, and the chocolate cardamom milkshake. I barely tasted it in either dish, and although the shake was good the chicken & waffle was not: the chicken was extremely overcooked, dry, and the crust was just shy of burnt, while the waffle was covered in a VERY spicy sauce so I could barely taste the waffle (which was a good texture). I did not expect "bbq chutney" to be so spicy! My partner had the dosadilla and it had very little flavor, just in the fennel yogurt.
