Swenson is really good. It's just taking me a while to adapt to knowing Cinnamon is in their burgers.

I was somewhat disappointed. I have been hearing rave reviews from another person from Akron on how amazing Swensons was. I ordered the Galley Boy, Fries, and a shake. The sauces on the burger were a mix of mayo with sweet and sour sauce. The fries were not crispy and very bland. The milkshake was the best part of the meal. The food was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. The service was good but probably wouldn't make this a regular place to visit. read more

We finally made it to Swensons over the weekend and we were not disappointed. My husband and I both grew up in NE Ohio and LOVED this place. If you're familiar with the chain from up north, you won't be disappointed, the service and food were just as good as we remembered. Highly recommend the "everything" toppings Swensons style (mustard onion and pickles) on your burger, fried mushrooms, potato teezers and the hot fudge milkshakes. So good! read more

Food was just ok. Burgers tiny, fries bland. If your craving onion rings there ok. They charge extra for lettuce, tomato and olives. My daughter said her strawberry milkshake tasted like chalky. The service is good they are polite and prompt. read more

Simply the best. Our family has been waiting 10 years for Swensons to open in Columbus. We enjoyed a very busy opening night at the Sawmill location. The staff did a great job and the food was phenomenal, as usual. read more

Totally worth the hype! My husband and I moved to columbus from north east Ohio about 9 years ago... having this staple here, has made columbus all the more feel like home. I am so pleased that the 2 times I have visited the Dublin location, the parking lot is packed. Even in spite of it being so jam packed and busy the wait staff has done an excellent job. Running from car to car in this 30 degree whether is no simple task. Both visits I have gotten a galley boy and potato teasers, both have been just like home. The food is fairly priced and hits the spot! read more

I tried Swenson's on Sawmill for the first time today. It was fairly busy even during the snow that was making everything a mess. Since it was my first time, I had no idea what to expect. The "servers" really hustle there and I had barely parked before a guy was at my window. I told him it was my first time and he handed me a menu, put a placard on my windshield and told me to turn on my lights when I was ready to order. I ordered 2 double cheeseburgers, one with just tomato (30 cents extra) and one with everything ( except tomato and lettuce which was 60 cents extra). Fries come in one size and they are $2.10. I also ordered onion rings which were $2.50 (I believe). The bill was $15.10 so based on the cost, I expected something more than Wendy's or Burger King. Wrong. The burgers did not come with any condiments except butter on the bun (?). The expected mustard was not there. One small slice of tomato is not worth the extra $.30 nor is the leaf of iceberg lettuce. The fries were ok, not salted at all. The onion rings were crunchy from the breading and tasted good. The burgers were ok. As my husband and I both said, "Nothing to write home about." As everything is cooked as the orders come in, it's definitely not "fast food." This would be fine, if it were worth the wait, but it's not. I prefer Steak and Shake or Burger King. There is nothing there that would cause me to want to go back except those guys who serve. I come here a lot....probably too much, honestly. That's good though because that means I like it. The first time I went I was unsure, but it was right when they first opened so I figured they still hadn't gotten into the swing of things but the second time I had it, it was amazing. Fast forward a million visits later and I'm hooked. Onion rings are so good and I always get the double cheeseburg and add what I like onto it. Only had a milkshake once but it was also amazing. I highly recommend. How can a person complain when these employees are running around in terrible weather conditions to fix your hunger needs?! Love it. read more

Totally worth the hype! My husband has been talking about the galley boy for weeks and we finally made it there! While it was super packed on a Sunday at 5:30pm there was no wait for a parking spot and we were immediately taken care of. We ordered the galley boy, onion rings, fries and a PB milkshake. All I can say is wow! The toasted buns on the burgers made it a hit, the onion rings were cooked to perfection and the fries were the perfect cut! We should have tried the potato teasers...that's my fault, but we will absolutely be back! We actually bought some gold coin dollars for stocking stuffers but we will end up using them! Oh did I mention the staff??!! I was in complete awe! These are some of the hardest working individuals and their team work was awesome! Great job and see you again soon! read more

Been wanting to try Swensons for some time now but I was very disappointed when I went today. I got a regular cheeseburger with mustard pickle and tomato and a hot fudge peanut butter shake. I ordered the small shake and I'm glad I didn't order anything larger. The shake tasted like melted peanut butter! No flavor of the hot fudge at all. It even looked like melted peanut butter and had the same gritty texture. Almost sickening taste. The cheeseburger was okay but it was small. Halfway between a White Castle slider and a McDonald's burger. The bun was good. Now for the bill. They charged me 30 cents more for the slice of tomato! What the $ell?! A friend of mine ordered his with lettuce and that was 30 cents more too! The cheeseburger was already $2.75. So for $3.05 I received a smallish cheeseburger with one pickle, mustard, and one slice of tomato. The shake was $2.95 and it was really small. Like in one of those styrofoam cups. The service was very good and friendly!! That's the only reason for the three stars. They ran their butts off! Literally! My take is someone is getting rich from this rip and it's not me.
