I have been coming here since this location originally opened as the soda shop. Unfortunately, the management has deteriorated overtime, and the quality is actually quite terrible. For example, tonight I waited 40 minutes in the drive-through line, despite having order ahead of time on the app.Terrible customer service and unacceptable. Workers are always kind, but this is entirely unreasonable. The current management needs to be replaced. No one has time for this.

This experience infuriated me. these two drinks as I just entered we're supposed to be shark attacks. They are yellow. The location was extremely rude to our DoorDash driver. We ordered dirty. Sodas, none of them were dirty. I am extremely disappointed in this store because my friends and I just wanted to experience swig, and we were met with these issues. Please do better.

I have been dying to try swig since I found out they existed and finally got to go during spring break. My son and I ventured out the 20 minutes it takes to get to our closest swig. I decided it was time to try it despite the distance. When we pulled in, it's clear that this location used to be an old school diner/drive-thru and the street appeal is very cute. It has a tiny covered patio with seats and tables (maybe only one I can't remember) and nice greenery. It was busy so there was someone outside taking orders and he was very kind and helpful for our first trip. He gave me lots of options based on my soda preference and I ended up with the spring fling. I described it to my husband as a pina colada with a hint of strawberry flavor. Truly delicious. We were bummed because our location was sold out of the mini chocolate chip cookies so my little didn't get to try anything. For the price and the distance it was only okay, but I hope to go back in the future and get to try another drink and get my kiddo his cookies (I hear they're excellent).

Came to get a Spring Fling and they were out of Strawberry Purée, that is understandable, so I ordered a Diet Dr Pepper drink and it was flat and watery. Must have been out of Carbonation or syrup. Not a good experience for the price. read more

One of my wife's and I favorite spots to visit when we are visiting family in Mesa. We are sad that there is no soda shop in the west valley in fact I've joked with the people working there that they should open one up in the wear side of town because we would be there pretty much everyday. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. Majority of them are teenagers and are super friendly. Keep up the good work all. My favorite is the shark attack! read more

I like the area, but the parking is a little dangerous next to the drive thru because some people can't see you and almost hit you (happened to me) the outside and inside area are so simplistic yet cute! the prices are good as are the drinks but this review is how loud the workers are, I talk to my co-workers at work but not this loud, like we sat outside because of how loud they are there was like 4 working and 2 more (not on shift, in everyday clothes) they were talking over one another and it was just unenjoyable to want to be around. Not only that, the girl who was serving us was talking to her co-worker about some random guy and looking off outside, when we're waiting on her to order and didn't even get a "hello" or "how are you" just seemed more like get to the point so I can continue talking to my co-worker kind of attitude. Knocked two stars down for the customer service read more

Was surprised to see this place pop up! Pleasantly surprised, of course. We've been to their other location where we tried the Shark Attack & their Happy Camper- both of which were super tasty and refreshing. While the shop itself isn't finished yet, we love it and I plan to become a regular. the staff were SO friendly, helpful & fast. I seriously cannot stress enough how sweet they all were. The drinks are always good but they need to figure out how to move the traffic better! Open the counter & just serve drink & close sitting lobby or do car hop!! Waste of space if you can come inside! This is my first time here and everything we got was good! We tried The Big Booty Judy, Happy Camper, Shark attack and Fruit Ninja. Happy camper was my favorite but I'm super biased to root bear. If you haven't been.. GO! I got a "WAIKIKI" (Coke (I got diet) with pineapple and coconut.. don't knock it til you try it )while waiting for Tyson to get outta school and it was YUMMY! I finally made my visit to The Soda Shop after hearing many great things. It's in a renovated gas station/auto repair shop, so has a cool industrial vibe, while still being warm and inviting. There are board games that i would totally e playing if i wasn't alone! I went after work and I was the only one in the shop. Staff was friendly, kind and efficient. I ordered the Beach Bum (pineapple, guava, orange). I'm in for anything with pineapple. The flavor was tropical, but a little sweet for my taste. I would order it again, but perhaps ask for more soda, less syrup. I also tried a chocolate chip cookie. First, it's BIG: probably about 5-6 inches in diameter. Normally, I prefer a crispy cookie, but this was delicious! It was the right amount of buttery, chocolatey deliciousness. I ate the whole thing! What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon with my son. It was our 1st time at The Soda Shop, I believe Jeremy assisted me with my order explaining how things worked. I had the fruit ninja and a sugar cookie and my son had the shark attack which comes with 2 gummy sharks. We listened to great music while playing connect 4. The prices of the drinks were not as expensive as I thought they would be. It's a nice environment to hang out with family or friends to talk and just chill. They have outdoor seating and different types of seating inside. They also have a really busy drive thru. The drinks were refreshing and my sugar cookie was delicious. I come to this location pretty often and recently the quality has been waning. The sugar cookies frosting has changed and the cookies are stale and dry when I receive them now. Also, there's no card reader for the drive through. You have to read your card number off to them and every time. It's 2020, card readers are 5 bucks. Grab one! read more

We used to go here multiple times a week and never had a problem with the employees, never had our drink orders wrong, but now without fail it happens every single time. My first visit to a soda shop and it was everything s girl can dream about:) But seriously I loved this place. I got the Peach soda and sugar cookie and it was delicious. The inside is super cozy to curl up on the couch and visit with a friend and the branding is spot on. Reminds me of all our trendy coffee shops in the Pacific Northwest coffee but with soda instead! read more

We stopped because of the sign. My husband thought they might car hard-to-find varieties of soda. Instead he found this shop uses standard sodas but adds some mixture of syrup flavoring and give it a name. So if you are thinking this so to be a true old-fashioned soda shop you will be disappointed. It is a cute concept and the soda tastes good making this place worth a visit for the novelty. read more

For me, this is a once in a while treat. This place is like the Starbucks of soda; you know you shouldn't spend this much on a drink, but it's just so good. I like to get the Leaky Caldron with Coke Zero instead of Dr. Pepper. Staff are always friendly and even if there is a line, it goes pretty quick. read more

It was very creamy, but the dark chocolate helped cut the sweetness. I ordered a piccolo (small) and it was just the right size for a treat. My friends ordered behind me and I found a spot for us to sit and chat. The interior is mostly tables for two chairs, but we made a table of three. In the future, I'd probably grab to go as it's fairly small. Still a solid choice for a sweet treat and I would recommend it if you are in the area.
