Dishonest shop. This place charged me more than I should have paid. I was looking at the cashier put in my order on the POS and she added a couple of soft drinks in to increase the price when I never ordered drinks. When I confronted her she said she charged me for the first drink because the prices went up and the second drink was to compensate for the price of the box the donuts are in. Wtf. The prices are also ridiculous as I paid more than $30 for 11 donuts and a croissant sandwich. Look elsewhere for donuts. read more

Their ham cheese croissant was very good (saw you could add egg to it after I ordered which I will do next time). Normal donuts were good too. Some donuts I've never seen before too. read more

Good donuts if you wanna pay over $10 for a few measly donuts. My mom and I came here today and got 2 of the larger donuts, a ham and cheese croissant and two bottles of milk. It came out to $12 and we were so confused. Both of the donuts were over 2 dollars. I've paid maybe $12 for a dozen donuts! Even the bougie vegan donut shops I've been to have been cheaper. OK so I was stupid. I got there about 1030 on a Sunday morning. Yes, lots of the donuts were gone, but I still managed to get a dozen and they did have my favorite-apple fritter. The donuts are unbelievable. First of all, they're huge. Second of all, they are so light and fluffy. I've never had donuts like this. Flavorful, sugary-delicious. Every one of the donuts was fabulous. I highly highly recommend. Just get there early. read more

I've been here a couple times now and it's probably the biggest donut shop I've ever been in! Although the variety isn't very good sometimes, there's plenty of booth seating and friendly staff. They brew coffee fairly often and their blended drinks are reasonably priced. read more

What a happy surprise. Now I have a reason to go to Fed Ex. And/Or Staples. In a strip mall, and competing for space with a pizza place and a cleaners, I think, sits this tiny and unheralded respite from the 111 traffic. Get there early to get the gooey frosted chocolate cream filled pleasures. My wife's all about the maple bars. Hurry or be forced to go to one of the six other "Swiss Donuts" As Famous Ray's is to NYC pizzerias, so is that a ubiquitous name here in the desert. All are unrelated. This donut shop is a classic and awesome with 15-20 varieties of donuts. We got a variety from glazed, chocolate, jelly filled, sprinkles, and a fritter. The yeast donuts were fluffy, the dough was delicious and the chocolate was perfect. The cake donuts were moist and super flavorful. My favorite was the fritter it was super crunchy on the outside and had the best apples inside! They also sell coffee, breakfast items, and other drinks. Went here when I was craving a donut.. pleasantly surprised of the options still available in the afternoon. But when I walked in there was one girl listening to music on her headphones on the right and a couple sleeping on each other on the couch to the left. I waited at the front for about five minutes where it seemed like no one was working... until the girl who had headphones asked if I needed anything? Went there yesterday morning around 9am and they literally had three trays of some leftover type that nobody wants donuts. I asked why they didn't have a selection and i got some generic answer of "we don't make a lot during the summer"....oh ok, so locals and us year round residents get the crappy donuts? People still live here through the summer and they do like to bring decent donuts to work for their coworkers, duh!!! Get your stuff together. We have been stopping at this donuts shop every time we go through Palm Desert. Because they had the best buttermilk bars that melted in your mouth. My Wife stopped by on her way back to Arizona and picked up two dozen. 4 plain 4 chocolate 4 maple in each dozen. We were surprised to find out when she got home that day. That the donuts were not fresh at all maybe either a day or two old or had been frozen. What a disappointment. Also they charged a unbelievable $1.85 a doughnut. No dozen discount or anything. They are so bad I can't believe it. Went from the very best to the worst ever. Not sure if they have changed bakers or owners but we have been going there for the last seven years. $44.00 for donuts that have to be thrown away. read more

Was not impressed by any means the two young ladies that were behind the counter were completely unfriendly and too worried about what they were doing and what they were eating to help or worry about customers and the donuts weren't all that great the location definitely needs a makeover the Floors were not clean use the bathroom and was afraid to touch anything won't be coming back there are much better donut shops in town read more

A bit pricey but worth every cent! The croissant sandwiches here are the best in town hands down, I start my day off 3 times a week with a visit here. The shops appearance and atmosphere are very humbly put together. The fluffiness of the donuts and croissants is unparalleled (in the morning at least) you can almost taste the love that goes into your choice of donut or sandwich. They also offer decent coffees that satisfy anyone who doesn't suffer from Starbucks fever, this particular Swiss donut also offer a selection of coffee creamers, juices and energy drinks that compliment a wide variety of tastes. What a donut shop should be. We got there mid morning so the selection was down but our choices were all very good. Only sampled the donuts but that's what we went in for. We had a late breakfast at this location. It was one of the best bagel sandwiches I've had in a long time. I had a cheese bagel toasted with ham and cheese. The bagel was very fresh and the ham and cheese were so good! We bought donuts to go and had a few in the evening for desert. They were good also.
