No pressure, no upselling, just honest guidance. The estimate was clear and detailed, and the pricing was very competitive. The customer service was exceptional from start to finish. My girlfriend brought her car here after it died while parking. She told them up front it was likely the battery (which they had just replaced), the alternator, or a loose wire. Pretty straightforward, right? Wrong. From there, it was a nightmare: * They refused to return her calls. She was the actual owner of the car, yet they completely ignored her and would only speak to me. * They dragged the repair out over three full days while dodging updates. * When they finally claimed it was just a loose wire, they quoted us over $500, apparently because they charge $250/hr just to "diagnose." * When we picked the car up, the passenger side window no longer worked, even though it was fine before. And the worst part? When we confronted Shawn (the owner) about all of this, he laughed in our faces, interrupted us, and treated us like we were the problem. When my girlfriend left, they actually called her a "f**ing b****." I confronted Shawn, and he admitted it--but said he was talking about her and not me. As if that somehow makes it okay. This wasn't just bad service. This was open disrespect. The way they dismissed and insulted my girlfriend made it clear they were trying to take advantage of her because she's a woman. If you value your money, your car, or even just basic human decency, stay far, far away from Danville Auto Center.

I recently bought a newer car with all the bells and whistles, and I was braced for a huge bill. Rich was incredibly professional, polite, and straightforward. I was actually in shock; he takes the time to educate you on the repair rather than just grabbing your keys and telling you he'll text you later. The estimate was a pleasant surprise, and better yet, there were no hidden fees at the end. The amount he quoted was exactly what I paid. They were on time, efficient, and had me back on the road in no time. It is such a relief to find this kind of service these days. It's nice to know you don't have to pull out a platinum card for a simple repair or an oil change. All the 5-star reviews you see here are 100% true. One quick tip: the shop can be a little tricky to find the first time, but trust your GPS! It will get you there, even if the turn looks a bit hidden. You cannot go wrong with this team!

They scanned my 2010 Prius car at no charge and identified the issues. There would only be a fee if further diagnosis or repairs were needed. The initial scan was very helpful and allowed me to contact the battery company for my Prius battery pack, which is still under warranty. AutoTech is a great place to get an estimate, and Lauren is very responsive. I had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend this shop as an alternative to dealership service.
