I've gone here in the past for smog and found them helpful. Came over after Valentine's dinner to top off my car tires. While the price for air was pricey ($1.50) I went and took my valve tops to speed up my air filling. After depositing my quarters the compressor goes on and the reading shows 5 lbs. I than quickly go into the car and use my gauge to get an accurate reading. I only got through the rear passenger side and the thing shuts off due to the compressor being so weak the time runs out. Not wanting to deposit another buck and a half for a defective gauge and compressor I walk into the office and the clerk apologized but said only the manager could help me out. No offer to give me tokens or refund offered. I would have to wait until the manager gets in. I was so pissed that if management doesn't have in place a protocol to handle such a minimal transaction why bother waiting? I went home and topped off my tires with a bicycle pump. That was more accurate and efficient than this excuse of a gas station air station. Never will ever go back and recommend never using their air station as any other station at least has the help and procedures have to be better than going with poorly trained employees or not having enough interest in whom represents their business to retain their clients. read more

I have taken my car there a few times in the past. I was there last week and told the kid that I had a check engine light on. He told me that I had to get that fixed first but he said to come back and let them know I saw a $15 off coupon and they would give me a discount. The kid wants to shake your hand each time (very annoying). I guess someone told him that he makes a good sales person if he does that. It seems like a common practice for smog check places to say they are giving a discount to make you think you are getting a good deal. When I saw their price list, it said it was $39 for cars and $49 for trucks and SUV's. When I questioned him, he told me that my minivan was a medium size car. There was nothing on their price-list about a medium-size car. He told me that medium-size cars are priced at the truck rate. He said if I didn't like it I could go somewhere else, which is exactly what I did. read more

Today they won my loyalty for life. Thank you Ravi! After sitting for 20 minutes at the smog station across the street with my child, I decided to go to Shell. Ravi got me right in with a smile. On top of that, I was able to pay my registration and Ravi even put the sticker on my car for me. Excellent service. All of the employees were very polite and friendly. Who reviews a gas station? right? lol But I just did --- came here for a smog check and upon entering the professional tech took my car keys and told me he would get started and would have me out of there in 7 minutes - which was great since I was on my lunch hour. Exactly after 5 minutes of filling out my information for the dreaded DMV smog check. My car was done and ready to go!!! The place is awesome ,fast and efficient!!! Paid $5 for the cheapest car wash. The machine did not dry my car. I told the clerk that the machine didn't dry my car. He immediately said, That's your fault." I asked, "How is it my fault?" He replied, "There is a sign, you must slowly drive forward." I said, "I didn't see any sign." He said, "What do you want me to do about it?" Etc. What ever happened to trying to please your customers instead of being adversarial? I'm never going back to this station. We went there this morning without an appointment and were lucky enough to be first in line. Although the guy behind us didn't have a long wait, either. We we're very pleased with the friendly, fast, and efficient service. The facility is nice and clean and there were chairs for us to sit and wait.
