Walked in the and the guy at the register offered the fix sandwich and pesto chicken. I came with a friend, both first timers, and we decide to get one of each. First of all, the place is probably the biggest hole in the wall in Sylmar. Both sandwiches were VERY good, and I'm not over selling. I also ordered a chocolate shake which was good as well. The only down side is that I wanted to use the bathroom to wash my hands at least but they don't offer any public restrooms. :/ I'll for sure be coming back for dessert, they look like they have a great selection. read more

So disappointed. I just ordered the turkey pesto and the sandwich did not look good . I cannot tell you how it tasted because I would not eat it. The turkey looked like bologna and the 1 tomato on the sandwich was the size of a quarter. I'm not sure how a sandwich with a juice at about $15 bucks total will keep this establishment running for long. You'd expect those prices in Hollywood/Beverley Hills- not in a sketchy plaza in Sylmar. The sandwiches do not come with a side, there are no combos or anything to compensate for the high prices. Often I'm really lazy to pick up so I get delivery and the wait time isn't bad. $20 limit but personally I don't even care. Usually love Sylmar's Fix, enough to drive there from Northridge, which I did today. Got there at 4:30 pm and they were closed, even after I called them to make sure they were open to five. Literally wasted a drive and gas. I understand you guys are open only till five, which is super early on a Friday but regardless that's fine. But if you're going to say you're open till five stay open till five or post it online or when someone calls tell them that you're not open till five it's just not fair. Really upset because this used to be my favorite spot, but I don't think next time I am even going to bother making the drive over. read more

I was so disappointed with the last visit that I had to write a review. -Over priced salads -Poorly informed people taking orders -Quality of chicken other meats could be way better -for what you pay. Especially the the turkey deli meat they use in one of their salads. It is not difficult to use whole turkey breast and chop it up. $10 is way too much for that skimpy salad. read more

I like the sandwiches, but their prices are sooooooooooooooo high. The drinks are very expensive too. I will not be back because I cannot afford to feed my little family of three (Lunch was about $45.00 for 3 sandwiches and 3 drinks, yikes!) I like all their sandwiches. The sea salt chips to go with it. They have fresh cold water complimentary. My most recent I tried one of there Penne pastas it's delicious. Chicken cilantro sandwich and Tuna with avocado highly recommended. Good spot to eat hidden gem on the back. read more

Owner / staff says "Nigger" constantly -- Don't support them. Food is obviously good, but the owner is too overtly sexist / racist for my wife or I to support them anymore in good conscience. Constantly playing loud explicit music, employees singing along loudly, swearing etc. Owner regularly makes strange aggressive comments to female customers that clearly make them uncomfortable. My wife and I drew the line with this place when the owner charged us $2.50 for a bottle of generic brand water while he was on the phone making fun of some third party calling them a "nigger" repeatedly. We sincerely felt sorry for the younger female employees working there. Frankly we always felt like we were treated more poorly than the Latino customers because of our race. If you respect women or don't think that racist language is 'not a big deal' then don't give this place your money, there are restaurants with better prices and food that have some shred of social conscience. read more

This place is considered a dive! A hole in the wall!!!! A needle in the haystack!!!! A hidden gem!!! This place is behind vons next to a nail salon and a laundry mat! Everything on their menu is good. I recommend their chicken pesto or the turkey pesto! Both are delicious. Also make sure to get a salad, any salad is good. The place is very clean, well maintained and excellent customer service! When I went in Bella, valeriee and the sandwhich artist were very nice! This place is a bit pricey for what you get but they make up for it in quality of the meat, cheese and bread. Also wish they made their own dressings, that'll be awesome! They should have seasonal sandwhiches. I would definitely buy a hot turkey with gravy mash and a cranberry sauce!!! Oh and stuffing lol (duh) keep up the great work. These guys suck so much! It's been multiple times that I place my order through UberEats, I call them to double check they got my order, and they still get. It. Wrong. Anywhere from leaving out the avocado to forgetting to a complete salad. I place an order again today and they forgot my salad! What am I supposed to eat now? Am I supposed to share some COVID infested food with someone because these kids are forgetting complete orders? I've called them nicely to complain about this and they just don't care, they keep saying they will give me a complimentary salad next time with double avocado, but they keep. Forgetting. The. Salad. Sylmar's fix is my #1 favorite place to grab a delicious panini and smoothie. "The works" and "the fix" are my 2 favorite sandwiches and I always recommend this spot to anyone coming to the valley. Is a hidden gem. I really wish they opened later and on Sunday's but it's always a great place to grab lunch!
