Ordered the Three Chili Chicken, House Special Spicy Chow Mein and the BOGO Shanghai spring rolls. The spring rolls were decent. The chow mein noodles were incredibly dry but were flavorful. The Three Chili Chicken was overwhelming salty without any sweetness. It also had a funny aftertaste. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering takeout from here again in the future. read more

Great food! The chili chicken is a must! It has a sweetness to it that makes it great to eat by itself. The deep fried shrimp rolls are also good and thin, so they won't fill you up before the meal. The house special spicy lamb packs flavor and the spiciness is from the szechuan peppercorns, so it's numbing! We love it! The combination fried rice came with plenty of protein pieces! Just ordered from here for lunch. Tried the three chili chicken, Kung pao chicken, orange chicken for lunch entrees which come with a soup (egg drop or hot & sour soup) and 1 piece of a crab rangoon or a spring roll. Plus white rice All three were good but I really liked my three chili chicken! We got appetizers of veggie fried dumpling which were kinda soggy some of them just a packaging issue I think. The crab rangoon was my fav style big pouch v little crabby taste We picked it up and it was ready in 20 min as expected. They gave us mango pudding and coconut pudding as a treat. Tonight was my first time ordering from Szechuan Corner and I have to say it will not be my last! I ordered two orders of pan fried pot stickers, beef with Chinese broccoli and the salt and pepper shrimp is one of the best we've had. It wasn't soggy from being in the packaging. We also got some chicken fried rice which was delicious but I would probably tell him to add more green onions next time . We elected to take it out tonight and it was packed very nicely and we will definitely be back! Thanks again!! read more

I was missing a local Chinese spot after Emperor Wok closed but this place just opened in the same spot. And wow I am not disappointed! I ordered the Singapore Rice noodles combination extra spicy and the portions did not disappoint and neither did the spice. This place is great and a welcome addition to the neighborhood. We just ordered Szechwan corner based on the positive reviews. We could not be more disappointed. The combination fried rice, sesame chicken, and dried chili chicken were all dry and flavorless. Additionally, the restaurant does not provide any condiments like soy sauce or sweet and sour. We will not order from here again. read more

I've only ordered delivery from Szechuan Corner (twice), and therefore can't comment on the dining-in experience. But the food is outstanding, and this place will now be a go-to spot when I'm yearning for Chinese. I've had both the three-chili chicken and the three-chili shrimp, and both are excellent, with numbing Szechuan spiciness. Enjoyed the food, both for carry out and dine in. The restaurant, itself, is clean and simple - a carry out restaurant with some tables. The ambiance is not the point -- the food here is great! One of the better Chinese places in Chicago. Very large portions and quick service. We've had the lemon shrimp, boiled Szechuan beef, and sweet and sour shrimp and all have been a hit every time. After leaving wicker park and being further away from Chengdu and Mon Lung, we were glad to find a great place further north. read more

The food here is incredible! We got the dry chili beef, best ever, so beefy and you can pick your spice level. The Mongolian beef is delicious as are the pot stickers. We found the food to be just ok - not as much flavor as expected and the chicken quality in the kung pao dish was not great. Thought I would give it a try and ordered their chicken egg rolls which is unusual given most egg rolls are made from pork and shrimp. The egg rolls are good and crispy if if you like chicken and vegetables. The shrimp rolls are just average very doughy would not reorder. I also ordered the won ton soup (large) the vegetables and ingredients are fresh but the taste was very bland. I know this place has been opened a month and I am willing to try other entrees. But for the price points the food will need to taste better. read more

This place is to DIE for. I have ordered for delivery now 3 times, and this is my new favorite Chinese delivery place. I have never had one bad thing there, and you can find more authentic gems on the menu (sliced pork / noodle / chinese pickle vegetable soup). Large portions, always delivered hot and fresh and quickly. Only one tiny thing (and this is just my preference): the chicken wings are a TINY bit on the sweet side, but still crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside.
