T-BONES best think about who their clientele is before they dismiss you so quickly regarding handicap accessibility. I parked I the parking lot and handicap parking was not easily visible. The parking is extremely far for someone with a cane/crutches/walker. Upon my arrival I was instantly dismissed by a server after asking if could grab a table. Upon speaking with the manager the answers were almost the same. "You have to walk around and through the building to the hostess for contact tracing." I decided not to visit this establishment. There are NO accommodations. It would have been just as easy to help me to a seat rather than to have me continue my trek through the restaurant. I just wanted to share my experience. read more

Great menu, something for everyone. Our table had Honey Sriracha Chicken, Honey Sriracha Brussels Sprouts, Fish 'n Chips, Burger and Fries. Along with the pre-meal bread and popcorn, everything was cooked perfect and delicious. Our server was super friendly, funny and helpful with our menu questions. There was a long delay in getting our food (i.e., order got lost) but the server and the manager noticed and addressed it before we even said anything! They did not charge us for the meals. I've been to this places a few times, both here in Salem, NH and at the one up in Laconia. Today the place seemed a bit out of sync, perhaps because the masses are out and the crowds are large. My waitress who's name escapes me, but she did have blonde hair and an 8 year old (this much I remember) was fantastic. She certainly seemed to be overwhelmed when my son and I first sat down, but man did she crush it from start to finish. Started off with some French fries that were made essentially Mexican style with all the fixings. It was great but had to box half of it so I didn't spoil my meal. For my meal I had a Cajun chicken sandwich with some sweet potato fries (fantastic) and my son had a chicken pot pie, which of course I tried and it was delicious. I can't say enough good things about this place, they give the chefs some freedom and the wait staff like today is usually excellent. It's not a chain, but there's a few of them in and around New Hampshire. Managment you really have got something special going on with this place and the other ones as well. Situated on busy Rte. 28, this restaurant is the perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of shopping central, amongst all the shopping plazas. Parking isn't an issue, as there is parking around back and on the side of the free-standing restaurant. The restaurant itself has been there for many years. Homestyle decorations yet somewhat modernized decor is a comfortable atmosphere for the home cooked, made from scratch fare. There are menu selections for every taste and preference. Many menu items can be customized to fit your wants or desires. There are also a great deal of vegetarian options available (which I believe can be modified began as well). I have been to lunch and dinner here several times and there can be a short wait. If you are waiting, you are given a pager and can seat yourself in the wait area or in the bar area where there is the bar and full menu available. In my opinion if you are a seafood lover you can't go wrong with their seafood dishes which as fresh and flavorful. The salads, appetizers, and meat entrees that I have tried have been excellent. I've never had a bad meal here, honestly. Their desserts are made from scratch and are somewhat seasonal. They are definitely worth checking out. On my most recent visit I had a coconut cream pie which has a layer of chocolate on the crust. The apple crumble is also delicious and served with caramel sauce served as inspiration for a desert my sister made for Thanksgiving. Have been coming here for 10+ years and I am troubled with the sky rocket prices that TBones has applied to their food menu. Sandwiches cost $15+ which is the same price as a meal. Whoever is pricing items on the menu needs to be reviewed a little closer. I am okay with price increases due to economy, but the service and quality of food BETTER be top notch. While Tbones has increased prices, their quality remains the same and has not adjusted with the economy. You can't increase prices but not increase your quality. Won't be back for a while. For $16 a burger, you better stop bringing out sauces in plastic cups and better change your napkins to linen. read more

Stopped in for lunch at the bar. Service was excellent. Attentive without being overbearing which sounds simple but is really hard to find. Bartender was greeting customers by name and already knew their order. As for the reason I came back, the boneless buffalo chicken appetizer. The corn flake breading doesn't really sound appealing but is actually very good. They're finely smashed so the texture is similar to panko breadcrumbs. You can't find chicken like this anywhere else in the area. Even after sitting in a leftover box for hours it still is crispy. Onto the sauces; all of which are made in-house. I love buffalo sauce and this one doesn't disappoint. On the mild side but still has a ton of flavor. The ranch (never blue cheese) has great flavor and a lot of seasoning. And to put a bow on the review, the restaurant is very clean. Between service, food and location there isn't a better restaurant in the area. Will defiantly be coming back. read more

Seriously, the menu has so many options, I am always a little overwhelmed (in a great way, of course). & for the most part, every meal I've had here has been great! The baked stuffed seafood casserole here is some serious comfort food - the portion of seafood that you get is very hearty, and their herb stuffing is a delicious complement and doesn't overtake the dish. I had a lobster roll for lunch here once and I still remember and think about it regularly. I also love the unusual reuben sandwich, which was hot and melted and satisfying ; and the cornflake breaded chicken tenders here are some of the best I've ever had, especially on their crispy chicken salad (cool ranch style)... YUM. My dad also loves their french onion soup and raves about their clam chowder. There was one time I wasn't so happy with their food... I ordered a dish that was a special of the evening (fettuccine alfredo with steak tips) and it was more than terrible. Luckily, the service here is fantastic! I didn't complain at all about the meal but the server could tell I wasn't enjoying it and offered to get me something else. I asked her about the 1/2 price appetizers she told me it was 356 and I would have to wait 4 minutes, ok fine 10 more minutes no big deal. As we were sitting outside, we got a smell of trash.We decided to go inside to sit as we were heading in. She showed up with drinks and brought them to the table. On to the food we decided to order to appetizers and meals at same time as it was taking forever to get a drink. Bread was rock hard, and salad was soggy. The meals were 2 out of 5. Charlie haddock dish was overcooked and dry. Shrimp scampi was ok, as was the filet. As I looked at the bill I saw the 2 appetizers were full price. I explained to waitress that we were outside but decided to sit inside. The manager came over and stated you have to sit outside or in the bar. Basically, there's nothing she could do. read more

Being from Southern New Hampshire it's probably cliche to say that T-Bones is one of my favorite restaurants, but it totally is. There are so many chain restaurants on 28 (Texas Roadhouse, Chilis, etc) - it's nice to have another option. They have the best blue cheese dressing, I love the french onion soup - I usually get just the baked Haddock but on my cheat nights I order the Teriyaki Sirloin and it is SO good and always perfectly cooked. I've been going here for years - the only "issue" I had was like 10 years ago - a waitress fell and dropped a burger on my sister's head (True story - and now a family joke). A bit of ketchup in her hair, but not a big deal and management insisted on paying for all 13 of our meals even though we insisted on paying. So great customer service. If I had to give management any constructive criticism it would be to revamp the interior a bit. New carpet perhaps? read more

When he went over to the next few tables after us, my bf overheard him offered them bread n butter while they wait for the drinks. Soo I'm currently on the Keto lifestyle trip. I've lost 30 lbs in three months and eat alot of Ceaser Salad with added steak, chicken and shrimp. Not a Caesar's are created equal... Case in point, the Ceaser I had at T-bones was above the rest. To be fair it was the steak that made it superior. The steak tips were marinated in a teriyaki and were ridiculously tender and absolutely delicious. I ordered a Ceasar salad with a double add on of grilled steak. Man oh man am I glad I did, the steak was the best tasting steak I've ever had added to a salad. The food was great, the prices were fair and the service was ok. The service is the only thing holding this review from being 5 stars. It was busy, it was packed and the service was a little slow. It even took a bit to get and the pay my bill. We waited for approximately 30 minutes and the service was extremely slow the entire meal. We also couldn't order a 22oz beer because they "ran out of glasses in that size."
