Stumbled into this place while walking through the town and was very happy that I did. It's a small, very friendly, family-owned taco shop that has so many options! We had a delicious buttery-shrimp taco that melted in my mouth and a squid taco that was also very tasty. Quick note - the habanero salsa he had on the table was EXTREMELY spicy, so unless you have a high threshold for spiciness (I don't) stick with the regular salsa, you'll thank me later. One of the my favorite places to eat in puerto Morelos! Every taco I have gotten there (have had about seven different ones so far) has been delicious and very well prepared. You can watch the owner prepare the food right there in front of you as well. They have an amazing avocado sauce which I can't find at any other restaurant here which goes very well with any tacos. We were approached on the street by our waiter when we were out looking for food on vacation. The guy we had spoke fluent English since he used to live in the US. He helped us find some deals on the menu, we had the pasta and pizza special. While vacationing in Puerto Morelos my friends and I wanted to check out a local place to eat. We ask someone who was working at one of the shops if he knew of a good place to eat tacos. This nice man took us here, to Tacos.com. When he first told us where he was taking us I thought he was joking but it really did exist lol. I was happy to find that they had a Yelp page. It was 5 of us and spent $80USD which I found was a bit high. Although it was 5 people I feel like for how inexpensive this food can be, it should have been around $40-$50. I know...I know! How can a taco joint in a small town be a 5 star experience? It simply...is. We have been coming here regularly since 2014, and we bring friends every year, and we tell other travelers to stop and visit. No one has ever left hungry or dissatisfied! Cold drinks made fresh when you order (no, really - the mint grows out back), amazing grilled meats for the tacos - and don't stop there. Fantastic pizza and pasta offerings, too. I know that sounds like a lot for a little place to get right, but they nail it every time. El grifo. Chilis Willis. Taco yayo. Go with friends and get several kinds and share - you will not be sorry! If George/Jorge is working you're sure to have an extra delightful time, too - he could not be friendlier or more helpful or entertaining, and he knows his way around. Don't order food till after your second round, and remember to ask for your check when you're ready. You won't be rushed here - relax and enjoy and eat up and then go back later for more. We found a lot of inconsistency with their plating and it's worth mentioning that managerial staff is rude, disrespectful, drunk, and overbearing. several of us ordered the same dish (al pastor tacos) yet each dish came out differently. On mine there was 1/3 of the meat compared to my friends plate which was overflowing AND they forgot cilantro and onions. On mine It was just meat and pineapples. Our group of five all had the same complaint: Mediocre, overpriced tacos. When the "manager" (who later denied being the manager) came by to ask how it went we obviously expressed our concerns and he denied any wrong doing and said if* we came back again they might* offer a free drink next time. He said cilantro and onions cost extra but when I pointed out that it literally comes with it on the menu he just walked away. Zero accountability and honor. You might get decent tacos here but you might not. And you definitely won't be treated with respect if they mess up your order. I don't recommend. Just drive 5 more minutes to get actual authentic Mexican tacos for a fraction of the price. (Also had dirt in my lemonade) It was a pathetic experience...1 star. read more

First off, after we ordered our drinks my dad ordered guac. 30 mins pass and we didnt recieve it while another table who was seated after us received theirs. their whole meal even came before ours. I had ordered my tacos with no onions and you guessed it, it came with onions. I ordered crab and squid tacos, the crab had a shit ton of shells in it and the squid was wayyy over cooked. The owner seemed to cater to the whiter folk, even though me and my family are mexican American, he acted like it was a bother than I asked for another lemonade with mineral water. One of the best meals ive ever had in my life. Small place looks like it was a garage converted into a kitchen with tables and a grill. He cooks everything made to order so you have to wait a fee minutes if you go with a lot of people. But its worth it. Relax and have a beer. Ive been here four times..once with 11 people...so we had a great time... Gave us shots of tequila on the house too. Every taco is good... The zirahuen is my favorite....that town is packed with little places to eat, choose this place first and you will likely be disappointed by all the rest and you will end up coming back here for all your meals on vacation. The tacos lived up to their billing on yelp. They were really good. I'm giving this place a lower review, however, because they added a "service charge " of more than 20% to the bill. There was nothing on the menu or elsewhere to indicate that they would be assessing a service charge, and I have not seen this done in any other restaurant in town. When I asked the waiter about it, he said that a 15% service charge was applied to the bill. When I told him that he charge significantly more, he then lowered the fee to 15%. We normally leave a 15% tip in Mexico... sometimes more, so it's not an issue of the money. I just think that it's wrong to assess the fee without saying anything about it to the customer, and without any prior notice, and for the waiter to have tried to pad the amount. (it was just my wife and me, so there was no need to apply the fee that occurs when large parties are being served.) read more

I enjoyed my fish ceviche very much, and my sister said the chicken tacos were very good, but the beef tacos were dry and flavorless and the fish tacos were pretty worthless, too.
