T.J. Hooligans was overall better than expected! Our server was great, extremely friendly, fast, and gave recommendations. The restaurant is cute with many beer signs, neons, bikes hanging, and many other things to look at! It is located in a strip mall so parking can be difficult at times but overall easy to park and it has a lot! cheese curds - so crispy and delicious, definitely a lot for 2 people, the ranch was also so delicious and the perfect consistency. Bone in wings (Cajun and garlic Parmesan dry rubs) - the wings were also VERY crispy and great. The dry rubs were good, but what blew us always was the crispiness of the wings! Thai chicken wrap - the tortilla was not too thick which I loved, there was lots of chicken in the wrap, the only thing I would say is that it was pretty saucy so all the bites felt the same and I got tired of it pretty fast. Comfortable atmosphere. I was there for lunch with an associate and we were able to have a good conversation without the restaurant being loud. I had the Korean Wrap. Flavors were good. We've been here a lot. I always thought it was so-so. Fine for a local option. I'd give it previously a 2-3 stars. Probably same as the reviews you'll see here on Yelp. However - They got new ownership and a new head cook sometime recently (probably around July or August in 2022). Food quality has greatly improved. Now, they probably have the best wings in the area, pizza is much better, pretty much everything seems to be dialed up a notch. I guess they increased prices by maybe a buck with the new ownership/cook ... but absolute worth the increased quality. We will go here much more often than we used to go. The real Yelp ranking of this place should be 4 stars, and I'd only read other reviews made after August 2022! read more

Don't let the 1980s decor fool you, this place is great! My son had the homemade chicken wild rice soup and it came with the best breadstick I've ever had! The pizza was a 10! I never go to Prior Lake but this night was an exception due to the fact I met up with an old friend from high school who was in need of a drink. This joint wasn't too far from the alchohol-free behemeth, Mystic Lake, so we opted to stop in for a pint. The decor and overall feel of this place is a slight rip of of Applebees with an "Irish twist". However, judging by their menu, drink selection, and decor, the only thing "Irish" about this place was their bar mascot/logo. The wait staff was slightly slow despite only having a few patrons in the place. However, the beer was cheap and served in Mason jars which is always a nice "throwback to the past". They also had a spacious patio that would make having a toddie on a warm night, rather pleasant. Don't expect to be stunned here but if left with few options in Prior Lake, this might be a good starting point. read more

We used to come her a lot and then it went down hill. Haven't been here for a few years so we decided we'd try it once again. OMG - food was horrible! I ordered a side salad and the garlic chicken ranch flatbread. My salad has one little slice of onion the size of an olive. My flatbread came out and there was literally no taste to it at all. I think they either over cooked it or forgot something. Yes, it was my fault for not saying anything but I guess when I ate only 1 1/2 pieces of the flatbread I would have expected the server to question why she was taking it back to the kitchen. She also explained the specials to everyone else that arrived after us. The specials that they were serving for that day, I would have tried. We've tried this place and just can't justify the price of so so food. We more than likely will not be back and will let people know of our experience if they ask us about this restaurant.
