T-Kebob is a spot that specializes in their kebobs. I had their Monterey Park location a few times and was excited to try this spot to see how the quality compares. I went here with my girlfriend at around 7:00 pm on a weekday and we needed to wait before we could get a seat. While there was a lot of seating, there seemed to not be enough staff to manage a new section of the store. Once we got seated, we browsed their ordering sheet. After giving the staff the sheet, it took about 10 minutes to get all of our skewers. Prior to the skewers, the sides are given out first. For skewers, we got the marinated beef, beef and pineapple, and pork belly. We also got an order of the cold noodle, which ended up pairing well with the skewers. The quality of the skewers is equivalent to the Monterey park location! I'll probably skip out on the beef and pineapple one for a future visit and lean towards the other flavors. The service was okay. They seemed to be understaffed at the time so we needed to find the staff to ask additional sides and the check; they didn't check up on us. read more

The parking is super tight so best to carpool if you're going with big groups. You can reserve or join waitlist ahead on help as they can get very busy on weekends. If you like to watch sports game, they have a big projection screen for it along with beer happy hour until late evening The skewer is an interesting style where you have a powered grill where the skewers get rotated automatically until they are cooked. With that being said, it does take a while for the skewers to be cooked, so make sure you order some appetizers while you wait. read more

The meat felt like it wasn't stuck inside a freezer and was generally well marbled. I liked the marinated beef, cumin spiced lamb (mild), beef tongue, and pork belly (kimchi and enoki). Would happily recommend any of them. Two small sticking points, the service is quick but they are noticeably understaffed, one person handling a room makes it hard to get service attention. Large spacious area, it wasn't full at the hour we went but we had to wait a bit...which wasn't a big deal. I was craving Chinese skewers one and happened to stumble upon this place located in Garden Grove. We got the marinated beef skewers, pork belly, and chicken skin which were all really good. Each skewer came with decently sized portion, although some of it does shrink when cooking. Depending on which meat you order, some will take a while to cook (i.e chicken skin), so would plan according. Each meal comes with kim chi and radishes which paired well with our skewers. Overall, it was a good meal. Although they primarily specialize in skewers (including lamb, beef, pork, chicken, seafood, and vegetables) there's also main dishes you can order such as dry spicy hot pot, fried rice, and stir fry beef udon. The generally vibe inside probably leans towards large group outings where you order soju or sake with some friends and just have a good time. However, it also a good place to bring family or kids and just enjoying watching the skewers rotate on the grill. The service here was good and the skewers came out pretty quickly. Came here after a long drive from San Jose to SoCal and it really lifted the spirits. Morale was down and I was hungry, T-Kebob to the rescue! We were seated right away. At first, the set up of the table was a little confusing. But then we realized that the tables AUTOMATICALLY TURNS THE SKEWERS FOR YOU! It was insane, I've never seen anything like it. We got a wide variety of skewers and vegetables to roast. Our favorites were the marinated beef and the chicken (it was a yakitori kind of vibe, delicious. But be warned, it can take a while to cook). The cucumber salad was nice and refreshing. For me, the shrimp fried rice was a skip. I actually really liked the lamb (I usually skip lamb), it was nice and cuminy, which I think complemented the gaminess of the lamb well. This place is a bit pricey, for the three of us was around $160, including a bottle of makgeolli. The service and hospitality makes it worth it. I definitely would comeback. read more

We had a great experience at Tkebob! Our server, Maggie, was amazing. She is so kind, humorous, attentive, and with perfect customer service skills. She really made us feel well taken care of. The restaurant was around 70% empty, with plenty of visibly open tables, yet we stood at the entrance waiting for almost 15 minutes without being seated or even properly acknowledged. We understand restaurants get busy or short-staffed sometimes. It was the feeling of being completely ignored while staring at empty tables. First impressions matter. It was my brother's birthday and he wanted to go to a barbecue skewer place, similar to a place in Rowland Heights. However, we wanted to try to stay close to home in Orange County and found this place on Yelp. We went on a Friday evening and arrived around 7:30 PM. There was no waiting and plenty of tables available. Also, we did not need to check in advance at this time since there was no wait. We did not know that in advance, but we were on the list and so it probably gave them an idea to get our table ready. We were a party of seven and in hindsight, it would've been better if we had two grills, but we were seated with a table with one grill. One thing to note is that they do not have charcoal grills so you will not get that smoky taste compared to other similar restaurants It took a while for the skewers to cook, and many of us were still hungry throughout the process. I ended up eating a couple of the steamed egg bowls since my son didn't want it and ate the kimchi at the table, but those were the only offerings with no extra charge I believe. It was pretty expensive overall with our drinks and meats. Will probably go to.an AYCE place next time considering the money we spent. Unfortunately, both my brother and I got sick later that evening and the next day and had stomach issues the entire day. Not a fun way to celebrate his birthday weekend. read more
