We were sat immediately at a nice, clean table, or beverage orders came out without us noticing a wait, and our food was probably 10 - 15 minutes behind that. The menu offers several choices from burgers to sandwiches (and poboys), salads, fried seafood platters (of course), and some home-style delights, like liver and onions. My mom recommended we stop for dinner here because she "heard good things" about the restaurant. "Good things" is an understatement. As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted friendly and promptly seated. They were understaffed for the night, but that didn't affect any of the servers attitudes or their level of customer service. The food was perfectly priced, cooked, and portioned. I don't like going to a place where I will pay $30 for a meal and end up eating half of it. (We all know seafood isn't the same reheated.) DH and I had the Cajun Trio, he had catfish and I had shrimp we both had red beans/rice and Crawfish Étouffée as sides, we also had a cup of the Corn and Crab Bisque. We went once and the good was awful. Our bread was burnt and inedible. Our waitress told the owner/ manger our concerns but said there was nothing she could do about it. Wonderful! Delish! Our normal schedule seldom lets us enjoy T-LeBlanc's but when we do, it's always wonderful. We have enjoyed the Saturday BBQ. I've eaten here once before and even if I liked their lunch, I didn't think there were enough choices. Fast forward, 4 years later and we went for dinner with a big group (about 20 people). A few people came late but they kept on accommodating by adding a table and pulling more chairs. And even with the number of people, the orders came timely. Not quick, but still in good time considering the # in our party and the other tables were occupied that night. My child really liked her spaghetti and meatballs while my chicken portabella swiss burger is nicely cooked. And the great surprise of the night are the home made desserts! I missed the dessert the 1st time but they have a number of homemade desserts including coconut meringue pie, apple pie, lemon meringue pie, chocolate cream pie, carrot cake and they all looked scrumptious! We stopped here for 'something different' after watching g-son eat lunch on G-parents' Day my wife ordered catfish PO-boy and sweet potato fries; I ordered the meatloaf special and a cup of corn and crawfish bisque as an appetizer. The meatloaf was OK but no better. The real issue was service. They kept my tea glass filled with tea - that was good. We never got the bisque or fries my wife noted the bisque absence late in the meal and our server offered to get it; I declined. No apology was offered. The fries never arrived we weren't charged for the fries or bisque but no apology was offered either and nothing said about the absent fries. They do take cards, btw. But that's not a good enough reason to try this place again. read more

So glad we stopped in here after our swamp tour! It is clearly a family-type place where everyone knew everyone, but I can see why they have repeat customers from the area. Our waitress was really nice and friendly and let us order fried pickles even though they weren't on the menu. And they were great fried pickles! A small restaurant hidden away, but well worth checking out. It's only open from 11 am - 2 pm for lunch on Monday through Wednesday, but it is open for dinner on Thursday and Friday. I had a delicious roast beef po'boy (dressed) and my wife had half a muffaletta. The bread for the po'boy was perfect, and they just give it a slight grilling to preserve the crispness. The meat and the gravy were very tasty, and has now become one of my favorite places to have a roast beef po'boy. The muffaletta was served correctly on a seeded round loaf. My wife enjoyed it very much, but when I asked her was it better than Central Grocery's she just said it was "very good". The servers were friendly and didn't refuse our request for a shrimp remoulade to go, way after the 2 pm closing time. Next time I'm in Slidell I'll stop here again for lunch. read more

I stopped in with my aunt & uncle before an event. I had the crab salad, and I loved it. My aunt had a small plate and uncle had a po-boy or whatever his was. But whatever, everyone loved their food. The beer was cold and tasty! The server Liz was totally awesome and amazing!!!! She was really lovable!!!! Great stop for dinner on our roadtrip from Texas to Florida. We had the fried green tomatoes with remoulade. Tasty, wish the sauce came as a dip instead of smothered on top. I had the fried soft shell crab dinner, with mushrooms and artichokes in a light browned butter sauce. Came with a basic dinner salad and a small side of perfectly steamed zucchini, tomatoes and onions. My boyfriend had the Cajun trio, with the gumbo, jambalaya, and fried catfish. It seemed like the gumbo and jambalaya were under salted, but that's better than the alternative. Overall, our meal was super tasty!
