Horrible customer service I walked in expecting to get help instead I hear how many customers she had seen today with the security and if the female manager was there she wouldn't seen as many crazyyyyy... And when she finally decides to put attention she gives me an attitude and sure enough did not help me, so I needed up talking to a manager which he decides to explain a bit more but sends me back to the previous tmobile store I had visited in June to get my problem fix!!! Ridiculous so I walk out of there with a jacked up phone and no one can help at the end of the day I have to call customer service to get it resolve. This place is packed most of the time but the waiting is so worth it. I have been here both times during my time of need and they helped me out. My first time here was during the Valentine smart phone promotion. I called T-mobile and they would not let me upgrade to get the promotion even though i only had 2 months left on my contract. I called t-mobile 3 times and all 3 times they insisted that i had to wait. I got angry because my cousin was able to upgrade with 1 year left into his contract. I decided to go to the store on the last promotion day. I walked up to get my number and the manager there said to wait because for sure they can get me the promotion. Stayed past closing time cuz it was so packed that day but walked out with upgraded contract and mytouch 4g for everyone in my family. My second visit was to try and get rid of 2 web plans on 2 mytouch 4g lines. I called into t-mobile and they said i had to buy two new cheaper phones to substitute it. I needed to go to Southbay Galleria and since they had a t-mobile store there, might as well change my web plan there. Came in, the associate was helpful but they ran out of the 2 $50 phones i needed to purchase. So voila! returned to the oceangate store and not only were they helpful, the associate was able to just get rid of the internet for me. I didn't have to waste $100 and buy 2 useless phones that will just catch dust. read more

So i returned my phone. and it took about two hours to get that done. And well im disappointed so a friend of mine gave me his phone for free an s3 and i returned my exchanged phone. again took about 2 hours. and Why is there no seating area? its a bit uncomfortable standing for so long for something that should only take 30min max. oh well. im still with tmobile since its the only affordable thing out there besides boost mobile, but they dont get recent phones..Well. thats my review. They are hiring from what i was told and you can drop off your resume if u want. would be best for fluent bi-lingual (Eng-Spanish) i heard from one of the sales ladies that shes changing stores because her sales are lower since shes only an English speaker. From the moment we were greeted by Adriana at the Rosecrans & Ocean Gate Tmobile retail store, she took care of switching over our phone lines from another carrier to Tmobile. She answered all our questions and concerns before arriving to the store to make sure we didn't waste our time. Adriana went above and beyond making sure our transition went as smooth as possible. Whether we had questions after we left the store or any issues whatsoever, Adriana was there for us. Without having to ask her she checked our account to make sure we were billed as promised and made the necessary calls for our bill to reflect that. I come here because it's walking distance from my house, so making payments would seem easy. I've been making payments using the machines (which I miss so much). Since they took out the machines I always have to sign-in and wait a really long time. Their is always an employee that looks at me waiting with my arms crossed and says,"sorry for the wait, we are short staffed." That's fine if you're short staffed but every time I come in, they always seem to be short staffed; at least for the last 3 months...That's not a valid excuse anymore. I'm not talking about a 10-15 minute wait I'm talking about a 30-45 minute wait. They should have a dedicated register just for making payments. I know it's not the staff's fault and I don't blame them. This would fall onto the managers and corporate (T-Mobile). This isn't enough for me to switch companies, but I'm considering having to drive to another store to make payments. I'll gladly reconsider my review, if and when, this store improves. Giving 5 Stars because of LUIS. I went in to exchange my phone for another one and he made my experience at this T-Mobile very welcoming ( Rosecrans and Ocean Gate). I went previously to the T-Mobile on Hawthorne Blvd and El Segundo. I felt like I wasn't really acknowledged and on top of that they didn't take their time to explain the phone I was getting which was a Samsung S10. I felt like they wanted me out and they only kept communication between themselves. I only had that phone for 1 day enough for me to exchange it. I didn't like it. Luis Took the time to explain to me about each iPhone and was very patient. He even took the time to explain about the Samsung S10 and was very detailed with it. Luis has Awesome customer service and knows how to communicate well with others. If your looking to get another phone I recommend going to him :) read more

I would say I had a pleasant experience. Daysha was an awesome associate, she was very attentive, experienced and made sure that I received the best plan to fit my budget. She had excellent customer service. As far as the store customer service as a whole, it would be nice if the associates were trained to inform the customer of all the services that each plan offers. This would be very helpful especially to new customers. I am assuming that since it's a busy store this factor can fall through the cracks. My experience here was amazing. I came here on Thursday to pay off my bill and asked Andy if I could get an IPad Air 2 since I had the line for it but wasn't using it. He went to check if he had any in stock and unfortunately he didn't. He asked me to come back on Friday(the following day) because they were getting their shipment in and along with that, I was going to get a FREE tablet(because of a promotion they were going to start). I went back yesterday and he right away came to me and told me that he was going to go get the iPad for me while he was finishing up with a customer. As soon as he was done with the customer we began my transaction. While finishing up it figures that I was over my EIP plan and that it wouldn't let me get the IPad with $0 down, I had to pay over $400. He wasn't happy about it so he went ahead and called customer service and they double my EIP plan, so as soon as he finished with that call he went "yessss". He was more excited than I was, but I applaud him for giving me an OUTSTANDING customer service. We need more people like him. I went to t-mobile today to get a new SD card for my phone and while the customer service was good the person helping me failed to make sure that the card was working properly. All he did was put the card in my phone and sent me on my way. When I got home my phone was still telling me I didn't have enough space. So I got in my car and drove to the t-mobile on Crenshaw and Imperial and they took care of the problem. This is the store I usually go to because they know what they are doing. I was in the area on Rosecrans and that's why I was there. I will never go there again!!!! read more

Would give zero stars very un organized we step in we wait for someone to sign us in but no one did after a couple minutes standing near the door so we decided to walk around the store a bit and other people arrived and got greeted immediately as they walked in and it felt disrespectful because we had been here at this point around 15 minutes and when I told the person who signed in the others she said that I'll be next but then proceeded to attend a person who came after me I waited another 15 min for the next employee since there was only two working at the time and then that employee took the other person who came after us and then I said to her what happen and she said "oh sorry I forgot since I signed you in after them" it was infuriating to hear that because at that point I had been waiting 30+ minutes. I then waited another 20 for the next available employee to help me. It was very flabbergasting how unorganized and disrespectful the employees are. This place was alright. I had better experiences at other phone carrier stores. This place is usually busy so expect to wait a while when you come in. The last time I came here, it was a horrendous experience due to one agent. I was there with my mom getting a phone for her and my little brother. I was telling this agent that we wanted something affordable and cheap. I couldn't help but feel that she was hustling us. She'll grab expensive phones then get mad when I tell her I can't afford it. After I grabbed the phones that I liked, she shows me phone cases that I didn't ask for. She puts all this energy into grabbing many different kinds. Honestly I thought they were cool, but once I looked at the price tag (about $40) I told her I don't want to buy it. She told me I can make monthly payments & I still refused to get it. Then she makes a comment "Oh, you can't afford $7 a month?" That just tipped it off for me. I told her nevermind, we'll be looking elsewhere for a phone. She looked disappointed! As if all her energy went to waste when we didn't want to buy. But she should've been more accommodating to our needs and what was doable for us. Never again went back to this store. The whole experience killed it for me. read more

You'd be better off calling customer service. The employee's suck at this location and most throughout Los Angeles. They don't want to help you unless a commission is involved. I had to go to two different stores until someone did their job. All store locations should have secret shoppers stopping by weekly. The managers need to know how sloppy their employees are. If this continues I'm definitely going back to high ass Verizon. I can at least count on getting good phone service and customer service. You need to better T-mobile. read more

I wasn't completely satisfied with my transactions, but I didn't give it a 1 star because at least I did end up getting the phones I wanted. I hated how they kept trying to sell me insurance when I didn't want it and also wouldn't cooperate with me in returning a brand new unused item. The guy helping me with my plan just kept telling me to calm down or don't worry about it, but I'm the one stuck paying the bills, so I really didn't like what I was hearing. It seems like they care more about making a profit than helping me out. It was so tricky because at first I felt like they were helping me out...but then he started making choices for me about my plan...in a way telling me this is how IT HAS to be done, which was a lie. He also didn't inform me in detail accurately how much I'd be paying each month. He didn't even include the taxes in his estimate! I had to call T-Mobile customer care to finally achieve what I wanted. Some of the workers were very nice though, like Abraham and Josh. But watch out for other workers trying to sell you things you don't need or tell you, you HAVE to sign up for this and that. I called customer care and they fixed it right away. These stores just want to make more money and commission. In total between this store and the other in South Bay Galleria (which was HORRIBLE), I spent a total of about 25 hrs within 5 different days to get this thing straightened out. This location compared to the south bay one was a lot better though. But I really wish I could be compensated for my wasted time and ruined mood. read more
