There are fewer experiences as time-consuming, teeth-pulling and brain-numbingly boring than buying a new cellphone. Buying a car is just about the only thing I can imagine that is worse. Thus, you can imagine my excitement at the prospect of having completed the latter, and now the former, on back to back weekends! Joy! Fortunately, Magali made the process about as smooth and streamlined as one could hope. My wife upgraded both her iPhone and iWatch to the newest iterations of each, after a brief interlude of indecisiveness, trying to determine which colors to choose that would best compliment each other. Once the aesthetics of our purchase were ironed out, the remainder of our transaction consisted of the usual document signings, SIM transfers, activations, registrations, and all the other digital detritus that comes along with each electronic emigration to a new device. This particular T-Mobile location seems to be busier than most, due to its location within Cascade Station, so you might get wait-listed (as we did) before you can sit down (well, stand up) with a sales representative, but at least you can shop or dine while you wait. It wasn't staffed plentiful enough for the Saturday rush, in my opinion, and for some reason, there was a customer(?) babbling annoyingly into what appeared to be a karaoke machine, at a volume that permeated the entire shop, for a good fifteen minutes, and for no apparent reason. Ah, Portland! Keeping it weird, as usual! Still, having used just about every major cellular carrier at some point in the past 15 years, T-Mobile remains, overall, king of the hill in terms of customer service, plans and features. This location maintains that reputation of...well, if not excellence, at least competence.

Magali was so helpful, made a stressful situation so much easier. Will only be coming to this store from now on! She deserves a raise.

Their employees don't look or sound qualified to deal with anything, they downright lie about the promotions/ trade ins and upgrades, they manipulate you and allow you to think you're paying one price then suddenly upcharge prices or say you owe them more money on traded in phones on top of paying $700 up front for trade in/ upgrades. They acknowledge their mistake say they'll fix it then all of a sudden they backtrack they don't want to fix or compensate all the distress they've caused for their mistake. I recently bought a new computer from them and it was the same excellent service. This store has been amazing for me and I will only go there to purchase any Apple products I need.

We had checked on our phones with the APPLE APP that stated that it was available for purchase and pick up at this location. The Guy proceeded to tell us that it was not available and ended with that. We said okay that's fine, and then asked if there were any MacBook Neo available and he stated yes and to go over to the "order pick up table". My fiancé and I arrived to the table and saw a team member kind of slouched over the table and when we approached her she stated are you here to pick up an order? We said no and then she said well who sent you over here? I said the guy that greeted us in the front. Already- I am annoyed, cause 1. WHY are you annoyed? 2. The whole time we were talking, she was slouched over ( in a lazy way), she was not making any eye contact with us at all! I was the one that was purchasing the MacBook Neo, but she would ask questions or talked to my fiancé instead, like she did not even acknowledge that I was there. He also stated to her that I was the one that is buying it and to redirect her questions to me. 2 more people arrived at the table for pick up but she seemed annoyed. Her mannerisms and attitude was very below average. She spoke very low and I had to lean into her to and ask her to repeat herself which just made her more annoyed. The other gentleman that had arrived maybe 20 minutes after us later then asked if she can get another person to the table to assist them and that is when she went over and grabbed " Jake" to come and assist. Jake was pleasant and kind and was able to answer all of our questions and gave us reassurance and was able to assist us with placing an order for a Mac mini. If it wasn't for Jake, I would have said F this and drove to another location that is out of my way. The team member that was at that table I later found out by her name tag was " Ivy". There was no introduction no nothing just " Who sent you here". Like TF? She was also wearing a mask which okay cool but with her speaking low it made it difficult to hear and understand her while slouched over the table the whole damn time! very not approachable! Honestly, we came here to purchase some items from Apple, and yet members of this team made it so difficult to communicate and buy, like it was a burden that we are in there spending hundreds of dollars. I am so surprised that this location is nice, so you expect that the customer service was also going to be nice as well but ended up being trashy attitudes when it comes to purchasing an item. Out of the 3 people from that location, 1 was nice, attentive and actually showed that he cared about the items we were buying. So Jake, thank you so much for that day, but after that I think I rather go to another Apple Store-for sure if you come here you will leave frustrated. -2/10

They accidentally tore the wire to the facial ID camera. My fiancé goes to pick up her phone and they feed her with lies on why her facial ID doesn't work. "It's normal" & "that's what happens". Then they try to charge the full amount to fix the back camera. We refused to pay the full amount as they didn't fix the phone, but made it worse. We paid $60. Follow up to the next day: He calls my fiancé on his personal phone to tell her he lied about why the camera wasn't working. He admits to accidentally tearing the wire and that's why the camera won't work. He then offers to refund the $60 out of his pocket. He then proceeds to tell us he can fix the front camera but he's going to charge us $190. HE BROKE THE FRONT CAMERA. Why are we being charged to fix the phone HE BROKE. It makes me wonder why they were getting into the front camera of her phone, and what they might be doing with parts! AVOID AT ALL COST!! COMPLETE SCAMMERS!! AWFUL EMPLOYEES/CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I have been a client for almost 2 years now. I recently went into the Boost store located on MLK…read morein Northeast Portland and purchased a LG Stylo 2. The total purchase w/ phone, activation(?) & other accessories were 300+ dollars. The purchase was pleasant and quick at that time I had nothing except good things to say about that location. I left the store and realized in their parking lot that the tempered glass screen had several bubbles in it and I returned. The young lady who had originally put the glass protector on removed the cover & reattached, however the bubbles were still visible and one in particularly was right in the middle of the screen was no longer at that time. I got my phone home and put it on the charger and I didn't touch it until the next day. The next day on my way to work I noticed a small nik directly in the spot were the difficult to remove air bubble was located. I was livid due to the fact that I was assured that the screen protector would not crack. I payed $30.00 dollars for this accessory and the quality was weak. I gave the store on MLK and Killingsworth a call. I explained the dilemma I was having. I explained to the young man how I would like to do either one of the two things, return the item or replace the item. It sound simple, but no. I would have to wait he stated. The store has to claim the item and I would have to come pick up the replacement on a future date. WHAT?! I explained very angrily at this point that my money is not negotiable and I need compensation asap, it took less than 30 minutes to total up the cost and take my money. I would like to be made whole quickly, it was less than a whole 24 hrs that I had just purchased this item. Now here is the part that truly aggravated me extremely. I go back to the location of purchase. I encountered a person that says she was a manager. I explained to her the scenario. I explained I was told this 30 dollar tempered glass was a lifetime warranty and I would like my replacement. The person that says she is the manager was rude and combative. She wanted to talk over me the entire time, she basically advised me she would make me leave if I didn't do what she said (be quiet) while she talked. I was so angry by this time, but I did what a good customer (child) is supposed to do, when told to. I couldn't believe how much money I had given this store and at the end of the day, treated horribly. I know the retail worker has to make the sale, but what about the client? I can't imagine myself going back to this location giving them a dime of my money and that is thanks to the person that says she was the "MANAGER" @ MLK/Killingsworth And I would absolutely NOT recommend the location to anyone. I drove to Sandy Blvd to pick up my screen cover. I'm also glad that I was given the locations of their sister stores because I will not frequent their stores either. Boost your customer resolution staff is slacking if their management cant lead properly. And horrible management will lead to horrible revenue. Properly trained staff is very important, but clearly Boost your only out for the buck..
