    Mango Bingsu

TZone Dessert Bar - Send Help, I'm Addicted Okay, pause whatever diet you're on -- you need to get yourself to TZone Dessert Bar immediately, if not sooner. I came here just to "try something light"... and walked out questioning why I haven't made shaved ice my entire personality. Let's talk about the Mango Bingsu first. This isn't just a dessert -- it's a spiritual experience. It's like mango heaven fell from the sky and landed gently in a bowl, only to be drizzled with caramel, topped with crunchy wafers, chewy jelly, and soft little mochi pillows. Every bite is a flavor explosion. I think I may have blacked out for a moment. Then there's the TZone Cocktail. Don't let the word "cocktail" fool you -- this thing is a full-on dessert parade. Layers of strawberry and mango ice cream, floating in a pool of juice, fruit, jelly, and mochi like it's a spa day for your taste buds. It's like a smoothie and a sundae had a baby... and that baby was glorious. I was halfway through before I realized I was humming and smiling like a cartoon character. People stared. I didn't care. Pro tip: * Bring a friend so you can pretend you're "sharing." * Sit down and commit. These are not "on-the-go" desserts unless you want to wear them. * Don't trust yourself to order just one thing. You'll want two. Possibly four. TZone is dangerous in the best way. If you love fruity, icy, chewy, creamy, crunchy, and joy -- this is your place. 10/10, would happily risk brain freeze and sugar overload again. See you next weekend.

It's been years since I've last been here! To be honest, I initially found their teas and desserts too sweet for my liking, however, they are SO MUCH BETTER NOW, with much more dessert and snack options available!! We tried their Golden Hour bingsoo and was genuinely surprised on how tasty it was, and was "not too sweet" approved!! Probably a spot I'd come to to satisfy some bingsoo cravings! Since 2021 they've added more indoor seating, have a more vast selection of drinks, desserts, and snacks, and lots of customers are constantly coming in! Definitely good vibes, and recommend a visit if you're in the area.

    Apparently this is a "crepe"

The saddest crepe I've ever had. I actually wouldn't even call it a crepe. Just strawberries and banana put together in the nastiest dough. And sprinkled with nuttellla. Dont. Order.

I finally made it out here after browsing all the pictures and menus on Yelp. I had my heart set on trying the "cheese tea". It's a little bit of a tricky spot to find, just look for the cold stone it's next to that. The review is solely based on them not having the drink I wanted and what I actually ended up ordering. The inside was very inviting with the wall of snacks and knick knacks, then a wall with "love" deco. And the employee greeted us immediately. There are just too many items to choose from for teas, snacks, etc. I originally came here to try the cheese tea, but of course, they were sold out since it's a popular drink. Now with that being said, I was clueless as to what else I should get. I've already tasted, macarons, croffles, Etc. I ended up getting the croissant with chocolate ice cream since I've never seen that combo before. While hesitantly ordering, I was very confused about how to eat it and asked her. I originally asked her to put the ice cream on the side, but she was insistent on putting it on the croissant. She was actually super nice about the whole thing though, and gave an extra scoop since I was sharing it with someone. That was very generous of her! However I did not really enjoy the chocolate croissant only because it was very hard to eat. The croissant was very tough and we couldn't even cut it with a knife. If I'm in the area I may return to try the cheese tea.

The ambiance was warm and welcoming. I like it! The drinks are pretty decent and not so sweet. The service was okay as well. I hope they get more local support because they are facing in the back of the center.

The service was excellent: I was greeted from first walking in and the boba barista was very patient with me because it was my first time trying their boba teas. They also gave great recommendations and told me about how local favorites are going to taste. I ordered the Strawberry Lemon Tea with light ice and 50% sweetness/sugar. It was really good! I had a craving for good boba and this tea hit the spot! I really liked that they had fruits in them, too. I didn't have the opportunity to try any of their desserts and food things, but I will definitely try to stop by and try some another time. The tea shop looks so cute and comfortable. They have tables and chairs as well as cozy cushioned couches. They also have manga series available for people to read, if they wish to hang out at the shop and chill. It's so cute; I love it! They have a few treats as well as boba/tea merch/cups/etc. for sale if you need or like that sort of thing. I definitely recommend stopping by and trying some things from their menu!

We wanted to try something new when we were in the area and found this spot! - T Zone Fruity Tea -- very refreshing blended with fruits and lemon tea flavor The interior is very cozy with snack display and cute wall decors! Although we went near closing time, the workers were helpful and did not make us feel rushed.

We saw this place on Instagram and was really interested because it seemed to be really unique. While they did have a pretty big menu with some unique options, I honestly don't think it was anything special. First of all, there were only 2 people working and they seemed to be pretty young, so I felt bad how rushed they seem. On the other hand, it was a Saturday evening, so they definitely should've had more people working. It's a pretty small place, so there was a lot of people and barely anywhere to sit, so a lot of people were standing while they waited. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks and 40 minutes for our food. The Ube Shake was really good and tasted like authentic ube, which I find to be rare in boba shops. But my drink didn't even come with boba, which I did pay extra for. The ramen, however, was nothing special. I liked the assortment of toppings, but it definitely didn't justify the price. I think the whole place is way too overpriced and the wait was just absurd. I don't think I would ever come again.

One of the most unique insides I've seen in a while! Unique seating arrangement with manga to read and a whole mini market to choose from alongside all their other sweet items you can get! I didn't try the food but the bubble tea I picked up is yummy

I will definitely be back to try more from their menu! They have such a range selection whether you're in the mood for boba/tea, sugary dessert, or just straight up fruit. I got the cosmo oolong which was a mix of oolong, lychee, and strawberry. Yummy!!! Service was really nice, and they sell readymade snacks and meals too. Didn't realize this was a vietnamese establishment, they also have street food like bot chien so I'll definitely be coming back. Has a decent amount of seating and the vibes are cozy.

Our car was at CarMax being appraised. They said it would be about an hour so we jetted here for a snack. What caught my eye as we walked in was these wooden crates in the middle of the floor. You have to walk around them to get to the counter. There's stuff for sale in them and it reminded me of those stuffy old stores with items in cardboard boxes. As we were on a timeline I went right around those boxes for the menu, which is a large laminated item with pictures. We got the small matcha bing su and a Vietnamese coffee with almond milk. Once we were at a table my dining partner was commenting on how well the walls were done. I didn't even look up to see the artistry on the walls due to the crates on the floor. The space - minus the crates - is extremely well thought out and perfect for people who are into pictures for social media. We noticed many possible "Instagram worthy" scenarios. The bing su was really good, full of color and unexpected treats. And oddly the Vietnamese coffee with almond milk was also excellent. We really enjoyed our visit here and will be back when we're in the area!

Are any dairy free options? The desserts look delicious and I want to know if I'm able to try it or not before going out of my way and driving 30 mins to go as I'm extremely allergic to dairy.

While this place is not anywhere near Burke, it is a trip worth it. First, the service was excellent. Ziniah was phenomenal in attending. She was patient, kind, and so sweet that she made the experience enjoyable and in a way, made you feel like family. As for the food, the classic breakfast was tasty. It carried a lot of flavor with the eggs and even the potatoes were flavorful and crispy. The best feature was the sweet butter. I could eat a whole tub of that and want to eat more. It is decadent and creamy.

Vibe: Nice sit-down soul food spot. Comfortable atmosphere…read moreand a good setting for a birthday dinner. Food: I ordered the fried chicken dinner with greens and mac & cheese. I ate the wing first, and while it was cooked, it definitely seemed like it could've used more time. That made me skeptical enough to check the rest of the chicken--and instead of biting into it, I cut it and sure enough, the thighs weren't cooked all the way through. That pretty much killed the meal for me. The skillet cornbread was good, but too thick for my preference. The greens had a nice flavor, but they had turkey diced extremely fine throughout them. I don't like meat mixed into my greens, and with it being almost crumb-sized, picking it out was damn near impossible. The mac & cheese was good, although slightly salty. My girlfriend's fried oysters were overcooked, and she didn't care for the candied yams. She did say the peach tea was excellent. Best items were the peach tea, skillet cornbread, and mac & cheese, in that order--but the tea was really the only thing either of us thought was excellent. Service / Timing: Service was okay. Our waiter brought the wrong items twice and wasn't the most attentive, but it never got to the point where we were wondering where she was. What bothered me more was how the undercooked chicken was handled. They removed the chicken dinner from the bill and took another $10 off, but nobody apologized. Serving undercooked chicken is a serious mistake, so I would've expected at least an acknowledgment or apology. Value: Low. The bill adjustment was appropriate, but between the undercooked chicken and the other food misses, the experience wasn't worth it. Highlight: Tea Wrap-Up: Unfortunately, this was a disappointing birthday dinner. There were a few things that were good, but almost everything came with a "but"--the cornbread was good but too thick, the mac was good but slightly salty, and the greens had good flavor but weren't enjoyable for me with the finely diced turkey throughout them. The only thing that got an excellent review was the peach tea. The biggest issue was obviously the undercooked fried chicken. My entrée had to be removed from the bill, nobody apologized, and I ultimately left my own birthday dinner still hungry.
