Egg puff and basil chicken are my go to snacks at this boba spot. Favorite drinks are oolong creama and royal passion tea. This boba spot is consistently good. I think the drinks here run on the sweeter side so def order 50% sweet if you don't like your milk tea too sugary. The only downside is parking isn't the best. Street parking in front tends to be full, so it's not the kind of boba place where you can run in and out quickly. If you don't mind a brisk walk there is a parking lot near the movie theater. To Go Order: Ordered Calamari Which was very flavorful however very greasy . Also ordered Thai tea which was absolutely delicious As well as Apple green tea which was so refreshing. My basil popcorn chicken was super bland and I was not given a generous portion. For the price of the chicken and the quantity/quality of it, mm, nah. Maybe I'll just wait until this place is running for a little longer, maybe they'll come up! ALSO, they didn't have ranch!!! I'm ranch crazy. I substituted ketchup and siracha, but it just didn't taste the same as my good ol' ranch. The drinks were pretty good, I can't lie about that. I got an elegant rose tea, which I've gotten in the past. It tasted just as it was supposed to so that's a plus! I would just steer away from ordering over priced snacks. The inside is pretty small, considering it's in downtown so there's so many other places nearby. I like the location though because there's a movie theater walking distance. Newly opened location. Service is good. I've gone to other T4 and this place is no different. They have a good variety of drinks and snacks. My favorite is their popcorn chicken because they fry it with basil leaves which give it a nice fragrance. We eat with our nose too. They are very crispy! Something I don't like about their teas is that if you get it 50% or less sweet, the drink just taste like water. I would suggest 80% or regular sweetness to make sure your drink has a taste. I was disappointed with my roasted oolong milk tea because of the lack of tea flavor. Other than that, I love most of their drinks. I can't say all since I haven't tried them all. read more

I honestly love T4 out of all tea spots but the parking at this on effin sucks. I always crave milk tea at night too and the area isn't the best to be in at night. The place is very clean, the service was superb, the attendant "blond hair" was super sweet and friendly, I asked for suggestions and chose a flavor of bible milk tea that I had never tried before! I waited forever for this T4 to open, literally months! This is located in Downtown Hayward. I got the matte green tea latte. It was just ok. Also saw these delicious looking fried dough with condense milk on yelp ,so I ordered it. However they weren't that great, kind of bland even with the condense milk. First time here. Got the fried tofu, it was very crispy and delicious! I like that it's not spicy too. Got the taro milk tea with lychee jelly (no ice, 50% sweet), my son's fave, he approves . Royal mango tea with boba (not sure what's royal about it, it's just tea with mango syrup) nothing special says Pops . And i got the passion fruit smoothie with fig jelly, i really liked it, but i wish it was decaffeinated (reason why I'm only giving 4 stars, not many decaf options), so i probably won't get it again. There's not much options for bubble tea in Hayward therefore this is the go to spot for me when I'm in town. The workers are nice, but service is a bit sloppy. The atmosphere is loud and busy. By far the worst customer service I've ever had at a T4. The cashier was busy helping guests and she was being yelled at by the girl making the drinks. They went back and forth for a while and I was waiting for my drink on the side of the counter. The girl making the drinks was standing there telling her what to do. I finally saw her put my drink on the machine to seal it and she continued making 3 other drinks until finally she grabs the drinks, still holding on to them. I grabbed my drink because I had only a 30 minute lunch and it was wasted waiting on my drink. My drink was a frozen taro milkshake which sat for a long time and ended up watery. I give it a one star because I actually enjoy the food. However today 20 minutes ago 9/6 I'm sitting here eating and the music suddenly change to fuck bitch and so on. So another customer gets up and ask male to change the music because it was offensive and loud. He then change it to nigga this nigga that. Typical T4. I generally go to the one at Stoneridge or in Livermore, so those are my reference points. Clean enough, line moved at a typical pace for large groups ordering ahead of us. I ordered a Caramel Milk Tea 50% sugar, an Oolong Milk Tea 80%, and an order of fried squid (my normal selections at other stores). Wait time with about 10 people ahead of us was 14 minutes for drinks and squid. Typical wait time that I've experienced elsewhere with people in front of me. Some people reference the size of the location, which I consider very adequate. And if you don't have space to sit there are benches located on the street a few stores own. Negatives? Music was too loud. TV was not on. Some electrical stuff still isn't covered 100%. Parking is hard to find on the street as with all downtown Hayward stores (go to the parking garage half a block away). Also, they got my original drink wrong (no boba) but quickly fixed it. Positives: Roomy, quality was on par, sugar adjustments seemed accurate, normal wait time compared to other locations, and I appreciated the lack of attitude regarding card stamps - very nice. Teas are good and vibe is cool, hours are convenient too for late-night boba runs. This is my 2nd time in though and the place is absolutely littered with fruit flies. Not like "we left the door open" amount but like they're breeding and no one has been able to figure out where they're coming from. It's pretty disgusting for a food establishment as the floors, walls, and tables are covered in them. There are probably 10 dead fruit flies on every vinyl panel on the floor. This would be a 4-5 star experience if it weren't too disgusting to sit down in, and it makes me question the food and drink cleanliness a bit. How can I be sure there aren't a ton of flies marinating in the lychee jelly or something? Looking at other reviews seems some did get bugs in their water. Not shocked!
