This is one of the boba shops that my daughter likes to frequent. Also, one of her favs of the ones in Natomas. She has tried many options of teas and snack picks. The tea eggs are good. Usually, we like to have the milk teas. It is in the bustling Raley's or Natomas Shopping Center. They are quite busy with a high school across the street and especially at nights. First off, I already had not such a good experience here the very first time I came. I decided not to write a review because maybe it was just a bad day for the business or whatever. I tried to be understanding as the person I am. I was once working in a spot like this place. My first experience here, I ordered a regular size drink and some chicken wings. I waited so long for the wings and the cashier stated it would take about 7 minutes for my wings to come out, which I was totally fine with waiting what I was told. The wait was too long of a wait, I ended up waiting 20 minutes and had already finished my drink by the time I received my chicken wings. My second experience here, I ordered 2 drinks and some fried lobster balls. The cashier said it would be 5 minutes of a wait, which I was completely okay with that. I remember my first experience they took super long and I didn't want to be that negative/petty person like "aR3 y0U suR3 0nLy 5 MiNuT3s?!!", this time they took 25 minutes! Like are you f***ing kidding me? I did hear the young lady scream out my lobster balls to the back when I first ordered. Maybe it could've been the older asian man in the back whom forgot, he should've been more aware because I did see the young ladies snacking on some fruits that the man had cut for them to eat while on shift. Not only that, but the lobster balls were supposed to come in 8pcs and I was given 7pcs. I had noticed it when I was snacking on them in the car already. I personally feel like they should've been honest of how long it will take, if it's going to be 15+ minutes, just say so. I love honesty. This is my go to boba location when I'm on my lunch break. Sometimes there is a wait and sometimes there isn't depending on the time. Usually when I come it is not super busy. I like their popcorn chicken because it is made fresh to order and green tea with mango ice cream and lychee jelly added. This is my second T4 location I'm reviewing and better than the one on 16th because it's newer and more parking spaces. The other day I had a service call late around 8pm and passing on Del Paso & Truxel i ran into this T4 location. After taking a quick look over their menu I decided to try the Milk Tea with Bobba & Coffee Jelly. It wasn't the best choice on the menu but it wasn't bad. The girl/cashier said HELLO as son as I walked in, was very nice and courteous (5 stars for that). First time at this location. Stopped here coming back from the Airport since I was craving milk tea. Upon walking in, first thing I noticed was how small the place was. There were a few people there waiting but no one in line to order. I was greeted by the friendly cashier and I ordered a large earl grey milk tea with 50% sweetness, 100% ice, with no toppings and an order of basil popcorn chicken. It didn't take look for my drink to come out and my first sip was heaven :) The popcorn chicken took a couple minutes longer which was expected. However, it didn't take too long. The chicken was also heaven. Overall, my experience at this location was typical. I was satisfied with my drink and my popcorn chicken, the service was great, employees were nice, parking wasn't an issue. This place had insanely amazing drinks, but toward the end of the day it's pretty run down in terms of cleanliness. The bathrooms were disgusting, the tables don't get wiped down, and everything is sticky lol. Don't get me wrong i understand their line is consistent and they're non stop but maybe consider having an addition person on staff to make the place not so gross. It was packed when we got there and it took about 20 min to get through the line. That was no problem at all since the quality of drinks is spot on. I come here quite often for lunch because I work really close by. Drinks are ok - wish the tea flavor was stronger, but that's just my preference. I like that they have a variety of toppings and allow you to adjust the sweetness level. My favorite drink is earl grey milk tea with either red bean or oats. In my opinion, I like the snacks here more than the drinks. I usually get the fried tofu, lobster balls or fried buns. Not the biggest fan of their popcorn chicken as there's a weird taste to it (again, just my opinion). read more

We walked in 20 minutes to closing and this place was filthy, unlike any of the other T4 locations. The girl was struggling in the back with some machinery and cussing. She ignored us for five minutes, and when she came to ask us what we wanted she was incredibly rude even though I was patient with her. It's pretty unacceptable that she took her frustrations out on us. We won't be back. Rude service + filthy tables (only one was wiped and clean; others were entirely sticky with multiple cup stains-looked as though they hadn't been wiped down for hours) = disgusting. The floor was so gross I had to take a photo. My drink was fine, as were the egg puffs. My friend had asked for 3-4 ice cubes in his drink and they put at least 15 ice cubes. . . I'm hoping this was an off night for them but poor service and filthy conditions will ruin any dining experience. One star for the Caucasian male employee with the beard who actually smiled at us when giving us our drinks. The Asian girl employee needs to retraining in customer service. 4 Stars because this was my first time here and the customer service was okay, but my drink was Amazing. Super Fresh and Boba was not tough like some places. I ordered the Panda and the fish and fries. I didn't care for the fish and fries at all. The cashier says that she doesn't like the lobster balls there, so I didn't want to take a chance with ordering those. But overall love the location as its right by home and drinks are great. Great boba place in Natomas. I've been coming here semi-regularly (about a dozen times) over the past two years. Their boba teas generally use real ingredients to flavor their drinks vs. relying heavily on sugary syrups. For example, their ginger teas have real bits of ginger and fruit teas have real fruit juices with pulp. I prefer T4U over Quickly down the street due to this fact, also their tea leaves taste better. Lastly, they have a greater selection of food items vs. Quickly. Although not as good as Sharetea a little farther up Truxel in the Walmart shopping center, T4U is an excellent choice if you just want to run down the street if you live in one of the homes nearby. read more

I only get their Jasmine milk tea with Boba. I've visited 2 other T4 locations in the past and I am sure they use the same recipes but for some reason their drink tastes better! The girls there are a hit or miss, you get someone friendly with a smile on their face or someone that has the ultimate RBF. One time I put the straw through the lid and instead of puncturing the lid like normal, this lid caved in and it fell over to the floor, they made me another and I was extremely apologetic but all I received were annoying stares. I get it, I've been in the restaurant and CS industry for years, accidents happen. It's one thing if I was some kid messing around in the first place and it happened, but it was an accident. I also witnessed the girl decline a call from a customer, granted they were busy but they could have said picked up and told the customer to "please hold" 4 stars because I do enjoy their drink and boba. -1 star due to CS service inconsistencies. read more

The food and drinks are good but the teens that be on shift have bad customer service, they're more worried about talking with their friends and each-other then serving customers and they don't wash hands. I literally seen one on the girl but their finger in someone's drink to fix it. I'm a big fan of the downtown location, and this spot churns out delicious drinks as well, but has a more chill vibe (at least the day I visited). The store isn't nearly as bright and there were people in line but only a few people in the seats. This is a big difference to downtown where almost every seat is occupied any given hour of the day. There are lots seating here which I like. I ordered a mango royal tea with pearls, and got a taro for the hubster. I didn't dial down the sweetness this time so I will probably get 50% or 80% next time. I especially liked that they stamped my downtown card. Most boba places I USED to go to wouldn't stamp cards from other locations of the same franchise. I appreciate getting closer to my next free drink! read more

The menu! T4 U is a Taiwanese bubble tea chain similar to Tapioca Express and Quickly. For the newbies bubble tea is a tea-based drink which often includes a mix of tea, milk and chewy tapioca balls or fruit jellies. The cafe has only been in operation for a month and a half and already reviewed by 55 Yelpers! Grand opening was 12/15/15. Just happened to discover this place after having dinner at the Chinese restaurant next door. I like this location because it is close to my sister's home here in Natomas. The wall of menu was overwhelming with so many flavors and types of drink to choose from! If you don't know what you want or do not have a favorite or you are new to the bubble tea world I suggest you step aside and check out the menu before standing in line because, like me, I held up the line. Aside from milk teas, milkshakes, slushies and smoothies they also offer food snacks including french or sweet potato fries, popcorn chicken, fried lobster ball, fried cheese sticks, spring rolls, and deep fried squid are just some choices from their food menu. I like that they place a sticker label on each drink with the name of your drink and your receipt # and the number of drinks you purchased (for example, I paid for 3 drinks... each label read the name of the drink, order #1104 -which matched my receipt- and 1of3, 2of3, and 3of3). This way no one is confused which drink they ordered. Very organized. You may also control the sweetness of your drink as well as the content of ice cubes in it. This is a first for me. I've never seen anything like that in any bubble tea cafe. There is a percentage guide on the wall of menu. And what tea place does not offer boba... choose from pearl, coconut-rainbow-coffee-or fig jelly, pudding, and red bean. They are open 7 days a week! Cool! The prices are reasonable and staff are friendly! There must be a stack of board games somewhere because the kids next to our table were playing Connect 4. We ordered food and boba drinks today and on the boba while I was drinking I bit into one that has metal filings from steel wool. There was also steel wool strand on fried tofu. Not cool we called them and told them to check their food and changed their cleaning practices. This is one of my go-to tea places in Sacramento. They do fruit flavored teas here extremely well, and the boba is always fresh. My favorite drink is the honey peach with boba, or lychee jelly. As other people have recommended, I like sweet drinks, but getting the drink at 50% sweetness is perfect (still pretty sweet). My partner loves the grapefruit drink with 25% sweetness. This place has board games that you can play, and plays decent music. It can get a little loud, but I've never been in a situation where the music was too loud, as others mentioned. So excited for this new edition to the small boba family of Natomas. This place is fairly new but has been around in the Bay The decor is really nice with plenty of seating and even board games to keep you entertained. The two workers here were really on point. The boba was the prefect consistency and sweetness. Like many reviewers mentioned, their drinks are on the sweet side even if you order less than 100%. You might even have to go as low as 30% to get the right sweetness. My SO's 50% was the same sweetness was my 75% which was already overly sweet. Also the medium drinks tend to be on the smaller side. I would also opt for no ice. Overall, it was a great first experience and I will be back. I'm constantly trying new flavors, new combinations and T4U delivered! Location: It's located in a bustling shopping area around lots of food joints and right across the street from Sleep Train Arena. There is plenty to do, which is great because we decided to get dinner and then boba for dessert. The location is super convenient and right next to a Ralley's so you can do your weekly grocery shopping with bubble tea in one hand. Ambience: It's not a huuuuge boba shop but there's not many big boba stores out there. It's very clean and there are plenty of booths to sit at. THEY HAVE BOARD GAMES!! (scoooore!) What a better way to pass the time besides drinking boba and playing a friendly game of Sorry! Customer Service: The two workers helping me were fantastic. It was my first time at T4U so they were incredibly patience and helpful. My friend couldn't decide on what to order and they gave him tips on what combinations are the best. It was slow so they even delivered my drink to the table with a straw, how sweet! Drinks: The menu was a little bit confusing because half of it was in a language I'm not familiar with. Also, the titles for each section were printed sideways so I was embarrassed when tilting my head to the side. The taste was, WOW. I decided to taste the egg pudding for a change and I did not regret it! I got the caramel boba with egg pudding and it was heaven for my tastebuds. Color me impressed! I am always excited about the opening of new pearl milk tea/boba/bubble tea/whatever you want to call it places, so when I saw T4 U pop up on Yelp one day, I knew it was only a matter of time before I found my way over. The standard by which I judge all pearl milk tea places is their regular milk tea or their jasmine green milk tea, as the rest of the milk tea drinks generally are generally based off of the regular milk tea. The prices here are comparable to what you would find at other place: $2.75 base tea, $0.50 extra for one topping. I made the mistake of rattling off my order too quickly without thinking about it and neglected to specify "jasmine green milk tea WITH boba," and the person ringing me up didn't say anything, so I ended up with just the tea and no boba. Sad times. The tea itself is pretty good though. The flavor is pretty light and unlike some other chains, doesn't taste like its been sitting around for hours. I asked for 80% sweetness and that was a good level for me. I think the big selling point of T4 U is the snacks. The thai basil popcorn chicken was actually pretty good-- I am normally a big fan of popcorn chicken anyway, but they make it quite well here. It's something about the way they batter the chicken-- it makes it feel lighter, but the chicken itself is also pretty tender. They offer takoyaki and a decent selection of other snacks as well, which is always a plus at boba places. tl;dr: Pretty good tea and pretty good snacks.
