T4 is my go to for a yummy tarot boba with pearl and luckily they had one out here. Good stuff, great quick friendly service by the hard working people here. Always spot on, consistent taste. Clean place and restroom with hot water always a plus and lots of seating area

I have pregnancy cravings and wanted some boba and I searched google, Apple Maps and yelp and this was the closest place that was open till 9pm. So I informed my boyfriend at 8:15pm he got there no later then 8:30 and when he walked in they told him they were closed however they were still making drinks for other customers. I don't understand how you can be closed 30 mins before the actual time. I feel like they were being lazy and inconsiderate of the actual time. I've worked in food service before and usually we wait till at least the last 10 mins before closing to tell customers that we are cleaning and no longer serving or at least lock the door.

I haven't been here in yeaaaaarsss since like highschool! We ordered taro milk tea with boba & the elegant rose royal tea with lychee jelly. We also ordered it with less sweetness/30% sweetness. Service was fine and the drinks came out within a couple of minutes. The taro milk tea was really good. I couldn't taste much of the elegant rose, but did get more of a lychee flavor - maybe cause of the jelly. Both drinks were fine and it was nice because we don't drink boba anymore, so craving was satisfied! There are couple of tables and seats to sit down and enjoy it too. There's a large parking lot and T4 is located within a plaza with other restaurants, Safeway, CVS, etc all nearby.

Spent $50 on 4 drinks, 2 orders of chicken and 2 orders fries. Decided to eat here. Table bottle ranch was empty, asked for me. They told us they were out of ranch. We noticed ranch sauce cups for to go orders and asked for a few of those. Was told no, they are for to go orders only. Then we offered to buy some and was told no again. Finally the manager came and gave us a few and said we didn't have to pay. Why do paying customers have to beg and bargain for ranch?? They have horrible customer service

Open spaces T4 has a bright & airy atmosphere. There was no wait, so ordering was a breeze. My usual go to is Rose Green Tea w.Boba, but saw the Guava Summer Special & decided to give it a try. With a 30 sugar level & 30 ice level, it was a perfect combination. This was a fruity refreshing drink, I would consider as a second go to if it wasn't for the fact it's a limited special. Although I didn't order any food, I saw an array of items:Fried Oreo cookie w.condensed milk, fried milk buns, fried mushroom, chicken wings, basil chicken, Lobster Ball, Calamari & a few more items. T4 is a place I often visit when in downtown San Leandro.

This T4 location is in the San Leandro Plaza and I feel like they are the more consistent location compared to their other ones. This is a pretty busy plaza, so parking is hit or miss here on weekends and weeknights. Service is alright and my drinks have been pretty consistent most of the time with a few bad drinks / times, depending on who is working. They close at 9 PM every night, despite what their online / Yelp hours says, so they should really update the operating hours online - I wished that they stayed open later like they used to. My go to drink here is the Green Tea topped with cream and boba & grass jelly. I would also order popcorn chicken sometimes. My drink is pretty good and refreshing when it is consistent (depending on who makes it) - I like the creaminess of it and the boba / grass jelly goes well with the drink as well, and I feel like they have the best grass jelly (texture wise) out of the other boba spots in the Bay. Their popcorn chicken is crispy and flavorful with a good amount of batter to chicken ratio as well.

Quality/Quantity - My daughter likes this brand. Brewed from real tea leaves. Taiwan street food. Catering available at some locations. Today's drinks, all good: Mango royal tea with rainbow jelly - It tastes like green tea. Jasmine milk tea with boba. Regular size cuz my daughter doesn't understand the definition of value. My daughter probably tried to save me $$, but for 50¢ more, it is better to upgrade. Really a reason to go more frequently... LOL, but my daughter actually paid! Apple black tea with boba - My other daughters' go-to. It is her favorite and no other boba shop has this flavor with apple bits too. The boba at T4 is extremely soft and chewy. My daughters say it is some of the best. Atmosphere - Take-out only. Small, almost hidden location, in the "alley" of the shopping center. This location is open 7 days a week from 11am to 10pm or 11pm, see Yelp or website. Service - Basic, not good or bad. Plenty of employees. Price - $16. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2013 and your parent companies success since 2004, founded in Taiwan. Looks like you own two T4 locations (Fremont) plus 3 successful restaurants. FYI - your website links on both your T4 Yelp pages do not work.

This review is based on the drink I got through a DoorDash order. One of my coworkers put in an order for over 10 drinks and snacks to be delivered. Order was placed before the spot opened and surprisingly, everything arrived within 20-25 minutes after they open. Service is quick for such a big order. I got the Pearl milk tea, 50% sweetness and no ice. The drink was okay, the pearls were soft and chewy but I couldn't taste the tea. The sweetness was good. Overall, it's a solid spot for boba but I probably won't go out of my way for it.

The popcorn chicken was my favorite.. you can add some hot season which I loved.. came out hot and fresh.. the friend chicken i wasn't a fan.. the batter came of and was overcooked .. it wasn't anything I expected.. but the drinks were very good .. service was really good nice and polite .. the tables needed to be cleaned better ..

Parking is a little weird and very limited but luckily for us, we found a spot on the side of the building. There were two young ladies working the store and the menu is basically posted everywhere. My daughter and I immediately gravitated to the banana matcha latte. We also saw they had yummy croissant pastries available, so we decided to give that a try. What we got: 1. 2 banana matcha lattes- 4/10 the matcha was okay but we tasted no banana to it besides the slices of banana. The pudding tasted like regular vanilla. Overall just not what we were anticipating. 2. Brown sugar boba milk? - 0/10 This was just milk with a bit of brown sugar syrup. (See pic) I actually dropped this off to my other daughter and she said she just couldn't drink it. 3. Strawberry croissant- 8/10 This was actually good. The strawberries with the jam and whipped cream were very good. Don't get me wrong, service was fine. They also had a few great items but the actual drinks were mid. I think the matcha needs to change or maybe making it more paste like could help boost the flavor. The brown sugar latte was just not it.

I'm really sensitive to artificial flavors, especially in milk tea, and I can usually tell immediately when a drink has added flavoring. I've tried pretty much all the popular boba spots around the Bay, and honestly, most of them taste heavily flavored or artificial to me. But Goolu Tea is different -- their drinks taste clean, natural, and the tea itself actually comes through. At this point, I barely even crave drinks from other boba shops anymore. Still waiting for my favorite Golden Tea to make a comeback.

While we had high hopes, everything we ordered was awful. The brown sugar boba was so soft that it was already falling apart with the first sip. The guava and peach lime drink tasted more like syrup than juice. My rice mochi matcha latte was disgusting - no flavor whatsoever and the mochi was so thick that it was hard to enjoy the drink itself. Despite getting two different flavored mochi donuts, they tasted identical - just like sugar frosting and dough. Not only did everything taste unpleasant , but it was also pricey. Should've stuck to Boba Bliss across the street.

It gives off such a welcoming, community-centered vibe -- like they genuinely want people to come in, enjoy good food and drinks, hang out, relax, and just have a good time. I was indecisive while ordering because there's just too many goodies to choose from and IK that can be annoying, but we had great service because the guy that took our order was patient and seen that my struggles was most definitely real . We ordered mozzarella sticks, popcorn chicken, curly fries, and two large Thai teas -- one with green apple jelly topping, which paired sooo well to me hehe. We don't eat out much because we cook at home nowadays, so when we do, we wanna enjoy the classics lol. It's actually really cool seeing how the place has evolved over the years. The very first time we came, the back area looked like this cute little library/study hall/tutoring/game/hangout room. Then a couple years into the COVID days, it turned into a unique snack and gift shop vibe. Now it's this awesome mini arcade/lounge setup with comfy seating, sports on TV, and really great food (savory & sweets) and drinks. And the food is SOLID. Even on my last mozzarella stick, I still had a cheese pull -- and it had already been at least like 20-30 minutes. That says a lot on the quality. What also makes this place stand out is the little acts of kindness. Part of their service is while we were already getting busy, grubbing, they randomly offered us a complimentary yummy, soft, and fluffy eggette on a stick with their condensed milk sauce, which gave me that feeling like how a love one would just randomly give something very sweet just because. I don't go out much anymore, but if I'm craving for some outside sweets and treats oh and almost forgot to mention how pretty affordable for the quality and portions we got for our meal, I'm def bringing my nieces n nephews here when they visit! I love the different chairs, décor, games, ambiance, food, and drinks! They keep everything so clean, neat, and organized at the station from where you sanitize your hands, grab your napkins, straws and condiments-- it genuinely feels like there's something here for everyone. You HAVE to find at least one thing you'll enjoy here!
