I was very anticipated on trying a new boba place because it's so raved up by friends and... it's overrated. I got two milk teas and the service was mediocre and the drinks were gross I'll stick with quiklys at the mall but if you want to try a really good boba place I recommend Tapioca Express in Vallejo! Lousy customer service! We had complaints about two of our four orders - their avocado smoothie. They were bland, a bit bitter and had no avocado taste to it whatsoever. We noticed tiny hard chunks of avocados in it and when we complained to the lady who took our order, we were told that all the avocados they use are raw. What?! Are you kidding me?! We paid for avocado smoothie, not bitter unripe tasteless ones like the ones We got! We asked to speak to the manager but she refused to talk to us. We waited over an hour as we wanted to make sure the long line of people in the store won't be served the same tasteless raw avocado smoothie but she never came out! Unbelievable! read more

I've been missing in action for years, but after I posted a review earlier I got crazy posting. This is for my weekly visits to T4! Love it and even they can piss me off at times cause the lines are crazy. The teenage (high school) cashiers really work hard. I will say when they wronged a customer, they'll correct it. Beware tea18 opened up and they will be your competitors... they just don't have snacks yet! I love me some milk tea! read more

This location is awful in terms of their drinks and food... I've been to many T4 locations through out the Bay Area and beyond and it seems that this particular location seems to miss the mark in terms of consistency in producing the same quality drinks that T4 is known for. Perhaps they aren't brewing the teas correctly because all 6 drinks I ordered seemed just watered down as well as the mixing ratios of syrup to tea is also skewed. As for their food... the calamari and popcorn chicken doesn't come as crispy as typical fried goodies should and a bit too oily... and the egg puffs aren't chewy and all came hollow which isn't how they should taste, complete waste of money...sadly. The only reason why they received 2 stars is because the staff is friendly an customer service is good... but the product they provide/ product is lacking. read more

So happy there's a boba place by my house that's good ! Won't have to drive all the way to Vacaville all the time now. It is their soft opening so they are still working on making stuff flow more smoothly. The decor is really nice and the place is small but it feels really open at the same time. I will say they picked a good place to open this place because the high school kids are ALL OVER this place. Was really busy when I went in because of this but it still wasn't a bad experience. When a place has a good Taro drink that's when I know it's good. So I obviously had the taro milk tea with boba & it was amazing, if anyone is familiar with Peace Love and Boba then that's what the taro milk tea tastes like. My boyfriend had the Strawberry Lemonade with boba & it was amazingly good ! The only thing I will say which isn't a terrible thing is that their boba is a little bit on the sweet side other the that it's great. I'm so happy that this place opened up and I'm excited to go back! One more thing, I wish they had some sort of promos going on since it's their soft opening but I mean what can we do. read more

T4 is probably my top choice for a bubble tea place. There are many different choices of bubble tea and overall, my favorite will have to be the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea w/ boba (or pearl). One thing that may be an issue is the wait and the line to order. It could take a while. However, the drinks are definitely worth it. read more

The tea itself is pretty good don't get me wrong, but the wait is just too long. It took a while to order and the store wasn't very busy it also took over 20 minutes to get one drink. I've been to lots different milk tea places in many different cities and have never waited that long for a simple Thai tea. The atmosphere was interesting... the decor was super cute, the food smelled good, and they had loooots of menu options (which I think is why it took so long). But, they didn't have a set store playlist playing which is fine except they had Spotify ads coming on a lot. We waited 30+ mins for our order of 2 egg puffs, 1 popcorn chicken, and one drink. The store wasn't busy and got most of our order out in 10 minutes which is fine, but for the next 20 minutes we waited for 1 egg puff while the other food they made got cold. We were reasonably explaining to the manager that everything is already cold and that we would like it remade or just a refund for the whole order, but instead she ignored everything we said and just said no refunds and just essentially threw the food at us and told us to leave. Granted she wasn't fluent in english I understand why she could be confused at the situation, but the cashier next to her refused to speak to us when we asked her if she could help us with the situation. She literally stood there and looked at us while doing absolutely nothing. She also manhandled the food with her bare hands after touching the POS system, without gloves and sanitation!! Even though its a pandemic right now, gloves should be something a food service worker wears regardless! I love T4 but this opening in Fairfield was kind of disappointing. It was 9 o'clock and they had no more Bobo left. I want my drinks with Boba this is the Boba place it should have Boba. Even if that means you throw them out you should still have Boba because customers are looking for that. This is definitely an area they can improve on. Eh. The combination of terrible customer service and mediocre drinks made my Fairfield T4 experience a waste of time and money. I frequent the Walnut Creek location since it's near work, and holy crap it's like night and day, quality of food and customer service wise. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AT ALL here in FF. The second you walk in you get the stare from the cashier, so unwelcoming! No smiles with service made my just ok drink taste even worse. It's sad that the owners trust these kids with their business. The chairs and tables are nice and modern, but they can't help the ugly behind the counter. I'll stick to PLB where are least the workers appreciate your business and the drinks/food are legit. Hopefully, the owners at T4 take a peek at these reviews and tighten up their shop during this "soft opening". It has potential for sure! read more

When Jae?, name of the cashier on my receipt, repeated my order she said I ordered an earl grey milk tea. I told her I don't like earl grey milk tea and she just looked at me and did not offer an option. I hope they get a better cashier who listens to their customers needs. I ordered here a few times and always got the jasmine milk tea with boba. I've asked for 50% sweet, and it tasted like they didn't put any sweetner at all. I figured it was my fault because I was being picky with my drink. So the next time I went I ordered the same exact thing, but with 80% sweet. Still didn't taste like they put any. Just because I wanted less sweet does not mean I want no sweet. Then I came to realized, they just didn't know how to make boba drinks at all. The last time I went was with my sisters, I saw an employee sitting on the counter top, where they make our drinks, drinking AND eating. Where is the professionalism? Where is the sanitary in that? I get it, maybe your job is super chill, but still take it seriously please. I've been to the one in Sacramento a few times and loved it so I was excited about this one opening in my city. I actually come here very often with my boyfriend for boba tea! He always get the Earl Gray Milk Tea but I try to taste something new every time. I've never been disappointed with their flavors and I really love the fact that I can choose my sweetness level since I don't like my drinks all that sweet! This was my first time here today. Place looks nice and clean. Drinks were good and so was the boba. The girl behind the counter was the only reason I give it 3 stars. Not very friendly or welcoming. This must be her first job as she didn't even tell me they didn't a receipt back for the order and I was the only person waiting. She didn't even want to hand me my order without the receipt??!! Ordered Ramen to go along with 2 drinks, popcorn chicken and lobster balls. We got the drinks and the fried food after about 20 minutes or so. They told us that they're still waiting on the ramen and that there were 4 more ramen orders ahead of us. We asked again after 5 minutes and we were told that they're about to work on it. We asked to have it cancelled, the employee went to the manager and was told that they don't cancelled orders after it's been placed. We asked for the manager and when the employee went to the back to tell to the manager that we wanted to talk to her, she became very flustered and screamed that she's very busy and pretty much shoved the employee out of the kitchen to deal with us. Poor kid did not know what to do. All he could say is that he's just an employee it's out of his hands. No job is ever worth getting that kind of treatment for. The manager's name is Karen Wai. She needs lessons on customer service and management. I was originally upset with the extremely slow service but that got overshadowed by her rudeness to her employees. Unbelievable!
