We had such a wonderful anniversary dinner here. We had reservations, which I think are vital. They were busy, but we never felt rushed. The food was amazing. We started with calamari, split the lobster bisque, steak Dianne (the sauce was so rich and perfectly seasoned), and the ribeye (great marbling and cooked perfectly). Kyle, our server, really went the extra mile with our experience. Service was prompt, neat and courteous. Everything I expect from a place where customer service is valued. He deserves 5 stars! The restaurant itself left a lot to be desired. Dinner portions are not ridiculous, your plate will not overflow, but it is enough to get you full and satisfied. I didn't agree with the price, especially for a place that's on the middle of a shopping center and has only been up for 4 years. It was far away from fancy and I couldn't justify the price. The food is not amazing, it was bland and without flavor (except for the lobster!) The people are what make this restaurant. Nice ambiance, live music, nice decor I've been living in Addison awhile and decided to try this place out. The outside may not be a looker, however, the inside is very nice & elegant. I went on a Friday night and they had a live band playing jazz type music. The decor was nice, the restaurant was clean and nicely laid out. They had a great menu and tasty drink options. The bar staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about cocktails. The crab cake & Cesar salad were decent! A hidden gem right in the heart of Addison, NTX. The drinks [Old Fashioned] was made perfectly and they use "drunken" cherries too! The band... impeccable -- if you like Sinatra, you'll dig this place. The food it top notch too... tried the chilled shrimp - the big fat TIGER SHRIMP kind, and it was perfectly presented and chilled with all the right accoutrements. I can't wait to go back and try and out more of the menu. We chose this restaurant by yelp reviews, it looked super romantic, everything was too slow, service, food to arrive, we waited from the appetizers to the main course 40!! Minutes or even longer. The food was medium, ahi tuna was ok, caprese salad was ok, steak diane was good, lamb chops was medium, we asked for potatoes and explained we do not eat pork or mixed cheese with meat, they ignored our request and the potatoes came with pork and cheese so we didn't touch it (and paid 8$ for it) creme brulee was awful, and the banana foster tasted like fuel. the desserts was a disaster. Let me first say that the food was pretty good. However, the service was very very very bad. I have been to Table 13 five times for business lunches but never for dinner. Every time i have been her for a business lunch the service was excellent. Tonight I went for dinner and i had the opposite experience. I wont be back. We arrived a few minutes early and i told the hostess that we were waiting on my son and daughter-in-law but we were at the bar. She was very friendly and said she would bring our party to us when they arrived. When our reservation time came, I realized that my son was running late and i asked her if we should sit. She told us that they don't sit patrons until the whole party arrived. I had no problem with this except the restaurant was less than half full. By the way, it was 6:45 on a Sunday. When the rest of my party arrived, the hostess escorted my son and daughter in law to us and asked us to close out or bar tab (two drinks). I had no issues with this either. We were promptly seated and proceeded to wait at our table ten minutes before our waiter showed up. The maitre d" looked our way several times but completely ignored us every time i raised my hands. I even saw him standing at the bar chatting with our waiter and the bar tender. i couldn't believe it. He finally came to our table and took our drink order but he tried to walk away before he got every ones order - Seriously? When we finally ordered appetizers he took my sons appetizer order and walked away. When he finally returned i asked him if he could tell us about the restaurant. There theme is what they try to make special - the Rat Pack and the whole Sammy Davis/Frank Sinatra/ Dean Martin thing. They are great about this at lunch and its what should make the restaurant special. Needless to say the rest of the night was more of the same. Long story short our meal $350 for 4 before tip and that's without a bottle of wine (six drinks total). The restaurant was half full and the service was awful. No one ever asked how the meal was or if they could get us anything. I failed to impress my new daughter-in-law on her birthday. Take my advice, If you want to spend this kind of money go to Al Bernese or Three Forks, They do it right. Don't go here! i wont be back! read more

We went to celebrate an engagement and the entire staff pulled out all the stops. The chef stopped by to greet us, along with a member of the band and management. The ambiance is very calming and the vintage artwork is beyond my favorite. Everything we ate was simply delicious but the lobster macaroni and cheese is all I could think about the next day! My wife and I drove from an hour away to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. The ladies at the front desk was one of the few bright spots of the night. They were welcoming and pleasant. The outside does not give the inside justice. It was a good atmosphere with the live band. I ordered the calamari for my appetizer and my wife had the tomato soup. The appetizer was very skimpy on the calamari but heavy on the fried shoshito peppers. I mentioned it to our waitress Kelly who blew over my statement as if I was not talking at all. I chalked it up to being loud and her not understanding what I said. I would have took a pic but she took away the plate so fast. My wife enjoyed her soup. After we ordered our entre, we noticed tables around us were given bread as soon as they sat down. So we requested bread which we got halfway through our meal. I ordered the ribeye and my wife the lamb chops. My wife has food allergies to some berries and melons so we asked for a different sauce and for remaining sauce used to dress the plate to be on the side. So we got a side of bernaise because we were told besides the raspberry reduction its also a chimichuri oil not chimichuri sauce. I asked for creamy horseradish yet I was told they don't have it by Kelly. I found it strange that they have a steak appetizer with horseradish cream on crostini and prime rib specials on Monday nights but no creamy horseradish. So I made do with my meal. Our table had confetti for our Anniversary but never once was it acknowledged by the wait staff. The GM came through and was pleasant making small talk. My wife also wanted a drink so she got a lemon drop martini first. She is a light drinker so she likes fruity. For her second drink, she was recommended an orange lady drink by Kelly as a good "fruity". My wife gets her second drink and its an orange cocktail made with Jamieson Whiskey. She was so speedy and short with us in ordering things that my wife went on her fruity orange suggestion which was more suited for my palate so I took the drink since Kelly blew off our concerns. At these point I'm frustrated but not trying to ruin my Anniversary. I go to the restroom and return to find my wife with a blank look on her face. So Kelly comes back while I'm away and begins to clear the table with no regards to what she wanted boxed up. My wife just said screw it but it was still some lambchop left on the bones. She dumped her leftover goat cheese bread pudding in the ribeye juices on my plate and took it away. For over 13 years that we have been together we have celebrated milestones at some of the finest white tablecloth spots in the metroplex, this was the worst experience. In some cases if the food is just decent A1 service will put it over the top. I'm sad to say that this was not one of those instances. My suggestion is for more concern when customer are making any comments on their food. Our entire dinner seem like we were an after thought on a very special occasion. read more

My parents and I have been coming to Table 13 for a long time now and while we fully understand that every restaurant has good days and bad days, I feel like the quality has gone downhill here recently. As someone else mentioned, the music is entirely too loud. When I was here last, they had a piano lounge singer who not only was not very good, he was extraordinarily loud. We had to yell at each other across the table to be heard and many times we simply let the conversation thread die. On top of that, there was a large group there yelling back and forth to the singer in some raucous banter...If you want to talk to the guy, get up and talk to him, don't yell across a crowded restaurant. It was disappointing that no one from the staff talked to the table, nor turned down the volume of the not so great singer. The food was good, however it also has changed. The mushrooms side used to be large quartered mushrooms, and now is very thinly sliced, almost shaved. It's like eating mushroom paste rather than cooked mushrooms. There was no market salad, and no dressings that were not creamy, which is a disappointment. I was hoping for a simple balsamic vinaigrette or the like. Service was ok, not great, and the bread made it to our table as the main course came out...a full 40 min into our dinner. Still a good place to go, however needs some tweaks to get back to what it once was. read more

We walked out, looked on open table for a place that had openings, and walked in here. This was the most fortuitous thing I have ever done. --- The black and white photos on the wall as I walked in told me that I would love the place. Dean, Frank, Sammy, Orson, Marylin - all there. This must be the place! --- White tablecloths. Impeccably dressed waitstaff. Beautiful bar. Mafia-style seating (those half-circle tables I love), big painting of Frank in the corner, live piano music with singing which was extremely excellent. I was floored from the word "go". --- Waiter explained the place. I ate it up. Mixed drinks were phenomenal. Highly recommend the Sazerac. Love the little plastic animals on the edge of each drink. --- The food. Impeccable. Expensive, but worth every red cent. Beef Wellington is superb. Steak Diane was as well. Many classics here: both drinks and food. You'll love it all, I guarantee. --- I was dreaming about this place when we left. Days later, we kept talking about it. So much so that we made reservations to go back 5 days later on a Saturday night. It was even better. 4 piece band. Place was hopping. Same super atmosphere and food. Classy dining experience. Doesn't look like much from the outside but the inside is really nice. Smaller than I expected though they did a great job on the ambiance, real romantic and classy. Food was delicious. Prepare to pay a premium but it's well worth it. Great live music Fridays and Saturdays. We were a bit surprised by some of the artwork on the walls. In addition to the usual Sinatra gang, they have drawings of almost naked women in different poses with different quotes to match the theme of the art. My personal opinion is they were done with class and add a somewhat dangerous edge to the standard vanilla romantic theme. I can dig it. The band that was playing that night did a great job. Our server was pleasant and extremely attentive, thank you sir. I haven't been here to the bar area but looks like it would be interesting. Only thing I could say I didn't like was that they request you to take off your hat when seated. Never ask a cowboy to take off his hat! Had such a good experience at Table 13 for restaurant week! My bf and I were here celebrating and did the $39 3-course meal for each of us. I had the Caesar salad while he had the lobster bisque for the first course. I had the Surf & Turf and he had the Steak Diane for entrees. For dessert, it was chef-selected so it was the lemon bundt cake and creme brûlée. It would be helpful to make reservations ahead of time cause it seemed to get pretty busy for a Friday night. It was such a nice, warm, and romantic environment with the live music playing not too loudly. We usually don't have "fancy" dinners so this was a pleasant experience to have. We were served warm bread and this garlic butter to hold us over before the first course and let me just say.. that butter is AMAZING! Our server was so friendly and funny and kept refilling both (two times and we even asked for some to-go LOL) after he raved about it. All of the food was delicious and portion sizes were decent for the restaurant "week" deal. I'm not sure if we'll come back for the regular menu, but we will definitely come back for restaurant week next year. Be sure to ask for Amine as your server. We have been here once before and sat in the continental room which was a great experience. This time we sat in the main dining at a 2 top table. I kind of feel crammed when sides are served family style and there's water glasses, wine glasses and bread plates. I mean one wrong move and something's on the floor. Tables were also pretty close together - our neighbors even leaned over at one point to ask what we were having. I would suggest sitting in the continental room or at least at a booth. Service was slow - which is to be expected. The website says to allow 90 minutes to 2 hrs for dinner - we were there for almost 2 hrs. But it was a little too slow for us. We had four courses. The dates appetizer was amazing!! We had never had them like that. The perfect amount of sweet and salty. The wedge salad was just ok - we struggled to find the pancetta in there. Our steaks were cooked perfectly! I had the filet and my husband had the ribeye. For dessert we tried the Chocolate cake and the bread pudding. We had mixed reviews on that. I much preferred the bread pudding to the cake. All in all it was a good dinner with great '60s theming. We particularly enjoyed the crooner style band. read more

I had a reservation for 7:30. Our party arrived early the the hosted was very warm and welcoming and seated us right away. Love the atmosphere- more upscale. I started off with the lobster bisque. It was good, but I have had better. For dinner I had the sea bass. It was cooked and flavored perfectly. The bed of risotto it was on was amazing. I could have just eaten the risotto. My son had the 9oz fillet, it was a great cut of meat cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning. For a side we ordered the lobster Mac n cheese and garlic mashed potatoes. The photo were wonderful but again, the lobster Mac was a litttle runny and lacked seasoning. The Cherries jubilee was fantastic. The service was good. It was a very nice meal. read more

We went for our anniversary dinner. Staff was extremely courteous and tried to make the evening special for us. The décor is very nice and the 3 piece jazz band and vocalist really set a great atmosphere. My wife's drink was very good and we also enjoyed our wine selections. We had the escargot for an appetizer. It was nice but lack some flavor and we both noted we'd had better elsewhere. Our entrees were lamb chops and the beef wellington. The chops were very good but the wellington was outstanding. We also had a side of creamed spinach which was ok. They brought out two desserts for us, on the house. That was nice but we would have like to select dessert ourselves even if we paid for it because we would have chosen something else. But we still appreciated the effort by the restaurant. The strange thing is the artwork and the dress code. The art is partially naked women saying suggestive lines that are hung around the restaurant. It gives the feel of a Playboy Club (and I think the artwork is from the magazine). It makes it weird to recommend the restaurant unless you're ok with it. And there is supposed to be a dress code - "Attire for the dining room is Jacket Preferred, classy and sophisticated - from jackets or blazers and collared shirts for men, with or without ties, and dressy daywear to classy evening wear for women." However, we saw men in tennis shoes and jeans. One woman had jeans with specifically cut tears. Disappointing. What a great addition to Addison! Table 13 was enjoyable from beginning to end. We were there tonight with the knowledge this was their "soft" launch. They were ready to go! The service and the food was fantastic. Then add Ricky Derrick for some Paul Sinatra type sound and it was the total package for date night. I posted several pictures. Two I didn't get were the tomato soup which was so good. The other was the lemon cake with cream cheese icing! Wow, I mean wow. Don't usually indulge in desert. This made me happy I did. My salad (wedge) was beautifully presented and the dressing was perfect, I ordered extra it was so good. My husband's Steak Diane was cooked perfectly and the flavor was so good I wanted to trade. Lol The decor at Table 13 was great. I loved the Vargas prints. They have a small dance floor if you feel like getting your groove on. I am looking forward to going back. The atmosphere is extremely enjoyable - the decor is tasteful, the live jazz music is great and not too loud so you can still easily hear people you're with and the seating is not too close to others. Would recommend getting any of our entrees. Will definitely go back to try their chateaubriand. Wedge salad - very good. The outside had a nice subtle mustard-ish rub, sits on a well balanced reduction and comes with a lump of bread pudding that tasted like a quiche. Pork Chops - delicious and HUGE. Has a great light smokey flavor. The guy that ordered it didn't finish and two others had a few bites. Sea Bass - very good - well cooked, nice and light. They're a lower volume higher margin type place which makes their normal pricing a little too high for my tastes, especially given the quality of the food in the general area. And there are consistently small misses on service like forgetting bread or being really inconsistent on timing even when there don't appear to be a lot of customers around. But if you have an eye towards specials or need a quieter place for a lunch date or a business meeting there is some very tasty food to be had and I've had it regularly. The bacon wrapped dates are the only appetizer that's killing it in my mind but their tomato soup and grilled cheese combo is solidly tasty. And if you want some steak there aren't many lunch places I've been to with better. Both the steak salad and filet have consistently been great cuts. All in all I'd say give it a try. It's far from perfect but it's become a semi-regular staple for our small office. read more

First time visit here....This will now be a staple in our rotation. As a matter of fact, our new favorite restaurant in DFW. With Danny at the bar, Matt serving us and Gabe (one of the owners) walking around talking-up the guests; Table 13 is a great place to spend an evening! The food (Steak Au Poivre for me. Chicken Cordon Bleu for my wife) was prepared perfectly!!! To make an "A" experience an A+, The Marc Toussaint Combo was playing the standards (think Michael Bublé... Maybe smoother!) all night. We were treated like royalty from the moment we walked-in to the time we left (and if you read my past reviews,this doesn't happen all that often). To sum it up... Go! You won't regret it. read more

I love it I can't wait to go back. The service was not so great that's why I didn't give it five stars it wasn't very busy so I'm not sure why the waiter was slow.
