I ordered a beef ramen, which comes with vegetables, and it was definitely a noodle soup but it may be a disservice to the Japanese people to call this a ramen. It was fine but I was definitely in the mood for actual ramen, so receiving a spicy noodle soup with broccoli and zucchini amongst other western veggies was a shock. I passed by tabletime in order to get to Bryant park from where I work which is next to Grand Central Terminal. It's smaller than the other market places, but it does its job. They have a buffet, salad bar, sandwich station, asian station, and etc.. it gets fairly busy here around lunch time. It's in a prime spot. I decided to try it out and got stir fry noodles. I got Pad Thai noodles with chicken mixed with Pad Thai sauce. Overall, it was alright but it didn't taste like what I would get at a Thai place. Maybe I should've tried their burger or something else on the menu. You can either dine in or take your food to go. I'm most likely not going back as this place is a dime a dozen. read more

Went here while walking towards Bryant Park with a friend. Already had some food in the morning so we weren't hungry enough for a classic sit down restaurant, and we figured that this would be a good quicker option. It was an interesting place! They were kind of a convenience store. You could get sodas, candies, granola bars, pre-made food, etc. What was interesting about it though is that you could also order at the counter from a menu. They had classic American breakfast and lunch foods, build your own sandwiches/wraps, fajitas, as well as some Japanese and Korean foods. They also had a buffet-style section where I believe it's $11.99 by the pound of food. Seemed like they had a lot of variety! I ended up getting a basic tuna sandwich. Not exciting, I know, but it was super yummy and quick. The employee was very nice and patient as well. I don't fully remember what my friend got-- something like a chicken teriyaki wrap I believe? She thought it was just alright, but still liked the atmosphere a lot. If you go upstairs there's a cute little dining area where we ended up eating. I can't believe how much food I got for only $6.50. I love the fact that they have breakfast items. There were so many choices I took a little of everything. Who else eats fish and pancakes! She has a major attitude problem. On one occation I had just purchased food and was not able to see the code for the bathroom.
