I am a fan. Went here before seeing a movie around the corner and it was a delicious and perfect quick bite. The shakshuka was awesome and just as spicy as it should be. The sweet potatoe falafel was innovative and REALLY good. Also, I usually don't like tahini, but there's was so good, I actually ate it. And the limona was delicious and not too sweet. Had the steak and egg in a pita....delish...perfectly cooked egg tops tender seasoned beef. I skipped the salad (don't eat tomatoes) and was just as happy with the spiced spread and labane on the warm and delicious pita. Lunch was picked-up by a co-worker and brought to Williamsburg...it arrived hot and yummy and did not require re-heating due to the wrapping. Prices are reasonable too. read more

I really enjoyed the food and the tastefully designed decor. Fast food is usually not tasty and healthy at the same time. I already went back for a second time because the menu had such a variey of choices. Between me and my husband we had the Kebab, Salmon, Shawarma and Sirloin. I enjoyed them all. Great little neighborhood restaurant. This is my go to lunch spot in the Village. Their pita sandwiches are fantastic - my personal favorite is the brisket and egg (make sure you get their hot sauce). They also make great coffee, and they sell pastries from Breads Bakery which is one of my favorites in the City. Get the chocolate babka, you won't regret it. read more

Shout out to Jennifer and the rest of the staff for going way beyond the call of duty to accommodate my friend's various food issues and preferences. I come here at least once a week for lunch, it's delicious. The meat has never been dry and is always juicy and tender. Ive tried the lamb shawarma and the pulled pork shawarma pans and they're both great, very flavorful and filling. The food might be one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I've been to. Flavorful, but not overly seasoned. Portions left us wanting a little more. Would have given a 5 if they came with salads. I had the sweet potato falafel pita. I came in with pretty low expectations, and even planned on eating the chicken wrap to be safe. However, the falafel was less expensive, and I am a broke graduate student. Not to mention, the falafel was named as some kind of chef's favorite/specialty. I ate it and was pleasantly surprised! It was delicious! I was very hungry (which may have skewed my impression), but the falafel wasn't too mushy or crunchy, there was a good amount of tahini (as opposed to other places that drown their Pitas and sandwiches in sauce) and the mixed greens tasted pretty fresh. I'd definitely eat here again if I'm looking for a quick lunch option. A little pricey (I'm still getting accustomed to NYC prices), but compared to other restaurants like The Hummus Place, a good value. Plus, the staff were nice and helped folks make selections based on what they were in the mood to eat at the time (I literally recall a man saying he wanted "something healthy" and the cashier giving him multiple salad options). read more

It's fresh and seems clean- but not overwhelming delicious. They also charge extra for everything! I did not want rice with my player so she asked 'all salad?' Stopped into this lil shop looking for some food. When I saw firewood piled up along the wall I was intrigued. Outside was a sign that said Mediterranean but the food had a more middle eastern palette. I ordered the pulled pork pan with slaw and an order of hummus and my friend ordered the salmon. The pork was good, savory and soft, but the slaw that came with it was great. Very unique and had a bite to it. The hummus mixed with tzatziki sauce was smooth and had good flavor to it. A nice mixture. Tried the salmon my friend had and it was good. The spinach that came with it paired perfectly and had uniquely citrusy sweet natural flavor.
