Went to this Taco Bell last night with my girlfriend and I order a $5 cravings box, upon ordering I requested no lettuce or onions on ANYTHING. (I'm allergic) and it sucks. Well, we parked and ate it as we were STARVING, and I unwrapped my first item and to my surprise..... lettuce. lettuce. lettuce. And A LOT of it. :( I was just super bummed, and my girlfriend told me to quickly check my other items.... no lettuce. Weird. So somebody decided to just listen to about 1/3 of my order. Thankfully they got my girlfriends order correct the first time (that's all I honestly cared about) but my girlfriend wasn't happy. She grabbed my food and went inside the restaurant and upon entering she said a lady had acknowledged her in the most unprofessional way. No words no anything. My girlfriend began to explain what happened and the lady repeated back "so you wanted no lettuce then?" And immediately walked away. When my girlfriend noticed the lady walking back in her direction shortly after, she also noticed a young man walking towards her too. We both assumed this was the manager because he quickly reached out his hand and politely told my girlfriend he was sorry, and handed her a coupon for a free taco. The woman who apparently fixed the lettuce issue... said nothing. When my girlfriend got back to the car she told me the entire story and I was super sad she didn't get his name so I could write this review. My mood changed shortly after when we were about to leave and finished eating a young man walked out and walked towards the car parked a few spots down from us, my girlfriend proceeded to tell me that this was the young man from inside. I quickly rolled down my window and asked him, explaining I wanted to write a yelp review and wanted to make sure he got the credit for his amazing customer service. Yeah the coupon is cool but that's not entirely why I wanted to write a review about him. The fact that he saw an issue and wanted to not only make sure that it was fixed but make up for it. I know it seems silly to review Taco Bell, I mean come on, we've all had It and know what to expect; however, this Taco Bell is worth mentioning. They have the BEST customer service ever. The drive thru attendants are always super friendly and attentive. I'm a vegetarian and order my stuff w/ beans as my meat substitute, and they always ask about other items I order (for my carnivore husband) just to make sure they don't make a mistake. During my pregnancy, I went here at least twice a week (I know, I know! But it's so gooood) and never had a bad experience. I can't say the same for the Taco Bell on North Texas. I come here on my lunch break too many times a month because it is super quick. Only having 30 minutes for lunch makes it tough to get a good meal fast, so it is nice how fast they are in drive thru. I give my order to the kid in the drive through I hand the cashier cash then my card and she swiped my card and was like oh it paid everything I'm thinking to myself fuck she just overdrew me so I was like I handed you the five for a reason and she threw an attitude. My daughter asked what drinks they have and he just kept repeating the are listed by the mic. We told him we were not seeing them listed and he continued to repeat himself. Good evening, I'm writing this letter on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, regarding my experience that I had in your Fairfield location at 3070 Travis Boulevard on Monday, June 19th, 2017. I went into your Taco Bell located at 3070 Travis Boulevard and I was with a party of 4. I was with my brother, his girlfriend and a friend of mine... we're all grown adults between the age of 30-45 (not rowdy teens, troublemakers or people with no sense). We ordered some food, we had just been out doing a 4-mile walk and we were hungry. So, we went into your establishment and the cashier who rang us up, Dharamjet, I believe she was the manager on duty as well, was friendly, we ordered our food... $27.68 was the total of our bill and we sat down to eat. We were eating and within 10 minutes or less a young man in your lobby name Brandon came up to us with a bag in his hand and told us that we had to take the rest of our food to go because they closed at 10 and I was just dumbfounded. I was just looking at him like are you serious and he said that they closed at 10 and it was almost 10:10 and I still couldn't believe it, my brother couldn't believe it...we're all looking at each other like is he serious? When he walked away, we discussed what just happened and strongly all agreed that was awful of him to do that and how inappropriate. Were we all supposed to now pick up our food and dump it all in one bag and leave? My brother walked over to him and let him know he might walk up to the wrong person someday and say something like that and they might not take it so well. That when we ordered our food from the cashier who rang us up, we're not wearing watches we had just been working out & took a 4-mile walk in the neighborhood and none of us had a watch on, but even if we had, we weren't paying attention to the time but we looked at our receipt and we got rung up at 9:55 p.m. now my brother was telling him that if they were going to tell us to leave and not be able for us to eat our food, then they shouldn't ask us, "do you want this for here or to go?" at 9:55 PM. There's no way we could all eat our food in 5 mins. Maybe at 15 minutes before 10...you guys can start telling customers...informing them you're going to be taking it to go because we close in 15 minutes if that's really what they're going to do to customers. But I've worked in retail as a manager for years and so has my sister-in-law and we don't send customers away. We don't kick them out at 9 if they're still shopping or in line tell them they have to leave and come back another day, or take your stuff and go and we'll put it on hold. So, we know how to treat a customer. So, I just wanted to let you know that Brandon needs some additional training. I myself went up to the manager and I spoke to her myself and I told her that she should train her employees that ring up people if they're going to be kicking them out of the lobby she should train them to tell the customer what time it is & they'll have a limited time to eat. She agreed it was wrong of Brandon to do that. But, you have to wonder if that's what they normally do, because why would a young man think it was ok to do such a thing? The manager should be aware of what is happening in her business. We were very displeased with our meal, both my brother and my friend stopped eating because they said they were upset now and no longer enjoying our taco bell meal. I hope that someone will speak with the team so that others don't experience what we did on Monday evening. On our way to Tahoe, we started talking about our craving for TBell. Found this one, and it made our night. And no, I was not stoned and I was not drunk.
