Carne Asada & Carnitas street Tacos
    Ian M.

Great tacos with a lot of meat and inexpensive. Some of my good friends have a diesel repair shop close by and told me they stop for much here quite a bit. I only ordered one carne asada taco and one carnitas taco and felt pretty full. The restaurant was simple design / decor but kept very clean. The service was awesome and the food made fresh! I can't wait to try it again!

I'm so sad for this horrible review but had too. This place opened up a few months ago and we had yet to try it. Many years ago, when we lived in Las Vegas, there was a Mexican hole in the wall strip mall place that was absolutely to die for. It was our go to place at least once or twice a week. I told my husband that we hadn't tried this place in the Ranchos and maybe we were missing our next hole in the wall find. Sadly, a big NO. We walked in with a person sitting either on a stool or chair behind the counter at a register. No welcome or acknowledgement at all. She wasn't friendly taking our order, just there. We looked at the menu and was surprised how high their prices were. I kept thinking this is what a nice sit down restaurant charges. Prices of up to $17. A super burrito was over $12, with no rice and beans. I decided that maybe these prices were worth it because their food would be out of this world. I really wanted a nice huge nachos but they didn't have it. A cheese Quesadilla was over $9! We decided to try their a la carte enchiladas, street tacos and a super burrito. When my husband got the food he asked if there was pico or salsa. He got a whole 2 of 2 ounce containers. We took it all to go. When we sat down I had mix feelings. The street tacos looked good for about $2.60 each. The enchiladas looked not so much for about $3.60 each. Flat, no cheese with just green sauce. The burrito looked huge so we thought maybe this was the home run of the meal. A few dollars higher than our other go to place but this would be the bomb. My husband got not a carne asada burrito but a rice burrito! There was more meat in 1 street taco than in this burrito. Each bite had like 80-90% only rice! The enchiladas had a minimal amount of shredded beef wraped in a maybe 4 inch tortilla with sauce, that's it. No cheese, no nothing else. The street tacos had no salsa on the side so if my husband didn't ask for salsa there would have been none for the tacos and burrito. It's just sad. This is a new place. Places are closing left and right due to staffing and quality of the food. Not sure if they have a following of regulars but we will not be back.

The QuesaBirria was wonderful. Definitely get the sauce for dipping. Elote was delicious too. Looking forward to trying more items off the menu soon!

Enchiladas combo. Those are two corn tortillas, for size. Tiny slice of tomato and super small pinch of lettuce.

Boyfriend and I decided to try out "the new place", but as soon as we walked in I was not impressed. Completely empty and dirty tables, worst was the place smelled like a casino. Absolutely dank with cigarette smoke, disgusting. Food was way overpriced but I had no way of knowing what kind of portion size was going to be given as we hadn't been there. I ordered an enchilada combo plate and he ordered a birria Crunchwrap, and we asked it to be made with goat meat. We got our order and went home. It was pathetic when I opened the box. About $14 a piece and not close to worth it. The sauce almost certainly came from a Can on two tiny enchiladas and a tiny scoop of rice and beans. His looked better, but we were both pretty sure it was made with beef. Super disappointed, save your money or go to JJ's, you get your moneys worth there and it doesn't smell like an ashtray. The girl at the front as very difficult to understand but seemed nice enough.

I recently moved into this area. The restaurant is with walking distance of my front door. She was right...it was the best I ever had., It's a whole in the wall place, but don't let looks fool you, the food was amazing and the staff was friendly.

Another good find. When GPS brought us to here, I thought we…read morewere in the wrong place with the gas station in front, see pictures. Quality/Quantity - Complimentary Chips and Salsa - Love hearty chips, and my wife thought they were home made...? I think it was store bought... Quesabirria Tacos - 4 (small) tacos, a cup of sauce and a side of condiments, toppings. See pictures. If you have been following, I have been on a Birria Taco quest, trying this type of tacos every change I get. These were just okay. The sauce was good and it had generous meat/beef. But it lacked cheese?!?! See my last Birria Taco review at Mama Papa. Chimichanga - My wife really enjoyed this. She did not believe me when I told her that this was a deep fried burrito, lol. Generous portions, and she was only able to eat half. Guess we have dinner tonight. My wife and I felt the food was fairly authentic. BTW - EVERYONE ordered soup!! Menudo, Pozole, 7 Mares or Caldo de Res, etc! My wife really wanted to order this to try, but it was 70 degrees outside. Just means we have to come back. :) Kids menu also available. Atmosphere - Small location, the indoor and outdoor space was about the same size. Full of locals, everyone sort of knew each other which was cool. Semi open kitchen. One unisex restroom, I did not bother to check it out. Open 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm as per Yelp. Plenty of parking Service - Overall good, welcoming. Counter or table service. We kind of stood out, and not in a negative way. The owner/cashier wanted to make sure we enjoyed our meal. The waiter was a hard worker, cleaning our table, and bringing out chips and salsa to us. Then we went to the counter to order. Price - No prices on the menus?!?! $30 + generous tip. Reasonably priced, but for a "hole in the wall"?!?! Owner Comment - Congrats on your success.
