Tried to go inside before going to the drive thru so we could get out/use the bathroom/dine in but the door was locked. Waited 45 minutes in the drive thru. The food was fine, the employee who assisted me was nice enough. Tried to order sweet tea but it "wasn't made yet." Wife & I went through the drive through Saturday around 6:15PM & ordered 2 Luxe boxes @ $7.98 each. Arrived home about 10 minutes later to enjoy our meals, what a disappointment. Starting with the Dorito taco which was stuck to the wrapper, not crunchy at all, mostly filled with cheese sauce, a trace of beef & with a few shreds of lettuce. The beef burrito was double wrapped with flour tortillas & was again lacking the beef, was mostly bean & cheese. Next item the supposed crunchy Gordita was anything but crunchy filled sour cream,sauce , very little beef if any & they topped this blast from the past with half of a handful of stale tortilla chips with 2 tablespoons of jalapeno cheese sauce. I selected drive thru pickup but went inside because of the long line and it's a good thing I did or I wouldn't have noticed part of my order was missing. When we arrived at this location we did not really have high hopes but have received decent service in the past. Since we spent all day at the water park in the kids were hungry this is where they wanted to go and it was the closest so here we were. While everybody wasn't jumping to the chance to take care of us the digital orderboard was very convenient and easy to navigate. When the food was ready my name was called out and the order was exactly as I requested. Imagine the look on my face when my order for the family of five was exactly how I wanted it to be. Just that simple fact makes me giddy as a schoolgirl. Then you mix in the fact that a doordash driver spilled a drink in the foyer and just left it. I then advised the young man named Damaris who promptly came out putting up a sign in the foyer and then went and retrieved a new bucket of soapy water to mop it up. At no time did he have attitude, treat it like it was below him or appeared to have any issue with doing his good job. I will say when I left I did call him out because the uniqueness of this was that the same driver that spilled the drink came back as we were leaving to retrieve another order and I wanted to make sure he heard me give that young man a shout out for cleaning up his mess. Now I know he probably didn't care and we even when I called out the kid for doing a good job he appeared like it was more than he deserved. The place was so slow they gave a false impression of having dinnertime rush - only, most of the customers were merely waiting for food. Most people, including myself, had to wait for more than 30 minutes for food tonight. Three people ahead of me left without collecting food. This is, by far, the worst Taco Bell I've ever been to. Their menu is not especially complex - other Taco Bells perform far better. They need serious outside review of their work practices to discover exactly what they're doing wrong. Most Taco Bells are done with your order before you sit down - I could have instead driven away from the Taco Bell, found a grocery store, made it home and made tacos myself faster than these people made them for me, and that's no joke. Customer service was otherwise adequate and the food still tasted good enough - the only reason they deserve a single star. But you don't go to Taco Bell for high quality, you go for speed, and this Taco Bell regularly disappoints.
