    A Rice Taco.

I tend to avoid this Taco Bell just because I've had many problematic orders come out from the drive thru but there are those rare days where one thinks "MAYBE this day will be ok". Tonight, the answer I got was "Nope, MAY never BE ok." This team LOVES to talk. And rather loudly most times while the drive thru window is wide open. Sometimes you can still hear them when the window is closed. And often times their conversation is completely inappropriate. Truthfully, the banter makes me miss being young and free... but this is probably what causes all the errors.... the horrible, avoidable but wasn't-caught-because-you-were-too-busy-to-pay-attention kind of errors. Steak tacos would've been great. That was what I wanted. Just a few regular crunchy steak tacos. But why when we got home was there crunchy Rice tacos? Rice tacos... RICE tacos... RICE TACOS?! Who would ever order Rice tacos? Especially when you already ordered a side of rice? I tried to forgive. I considered letting it slide... but have you ever tried a Rice Taco? Just no.. it doesn't work. So I immediately gave them a call and spoke to a manager. Luckily, the manager sounded professional and apologized for the error (I could tell she really wanted to laugh at hearing "Rice tacos" )... she offered to correct it and that was that. I was at least thankful that my son's order came out right! But seriously.... RICE tacos? Did no one think that was weird?

Placed my online order 21 minutes ago .... Came into the building to pick it up because the order was over $50 the app says you can't do drive thru . Once I made it inside NOT ONE associated greeted me , reassured me they would be with me shortly nothing I've been standing here for more than 12 min without receiving 1 acknowledgement from staff. After nearly 20 minutes a lady finally asked if I've been helped yet gave me a snobby attitude for not making my self known mean while the staff has walked passed me and constantly holding other non appropriate professional talks "funky ass" person Overall horrible service maybe that's why they don't get many people to dine in

A rare 5 star W from me, and yes it's for this Taco Bell. Specifically for the night shift staff on Friday night, May 19, 2023. I placed an order online for the drive through around 7:30pm. After placing the order it said to go to the drive through and say my name and they'll start making it. Knowing this, I went to the drive through around 11:30pm as I was busy doing errands. I pull up to the drive through and the staff agree to make my order again because my original order was already made 4 hours prior ‍ they said it just popped up on their screen to make at that moment. A flaw in Taco Bell's system that management needs to look at and do some testing. Place an order online and choose drive through, and see if it just pops up on screen to make right away or not. I was grateful for their help so I tried to give a tip at the window, but the employee said they appreciate it but they're sorry they cannot accept any tips. I felt bad that I couldn't give a tip, so I'm doing the next best thing I can think of, which is giving a review from a Yelp Elite member that hopefully management sees to show that they did a great job handling the situation and have a return customer with ease. Thank you for the great Friday night dinner experience that literally ended my night on a positive note.

I'm usually nervous to go to drive-thrus in Hercules nowadays because people seem to have the worst experiences with the drive-thru staff. Thankfully for my visit I didn't have a problem. The staff was nice and I received my order quickly. I went through the drive-thru around 7pm on a weekday and it wasn't too busy as there was only 1 car ahead of me. As expected, noon and 5pm is when the drive-thru line is the busiest. We ordered a 6 pack of supreme crunchy tacos and Baja blasts for the drink. For 6 tacos, we were given a lot of hot sauce inside the bag. The difference between a regular crunchy taco and the supreme is that for a little extra charge, the supreme includes sour creme and diced tomatoes on top.

Date: 1-4-21 Time: Around 8 AM Are you serious? I ordered 4 burritos from the Dollar Cravings menu. In the midst of eating the second burrito, I found a HUGE sheet of plastic paper!!!!!!! I mean, how can you miss that? I instantly lost my appetite for the rest of my food. I tried calling the store but nobody answered. There's no excuse because the morning time for Taco Bell is pretty much dead. Therefore, somebody should have picked up the phone. I will be swinging back here for my refund. I will also call corporate and the Contra Costa health department because this is unacceptable. Good thing I have my receipt because they almost kept it, too. I will not return here at ALL!

When the drive through is busy and you want to just sit down and have a bite to eat, don't let this sign above the door fool you. At first glance you'll see tons of open tables through the windows but once your hand hits the door handle... LOCKED! Don't advertise dine-in if your not going to let people in. Don't advertise "Now Hiring, Apply Within" if you can't come in. No sign on the door saying temporary closed, or "be back in 15" just nothing. Knock on the door, no one comes. Just a wasteland of dead space, empty tables and chairs.

The wet super burrito is massive and mine was packed with carnitas, pinto beans and all the fixings. On their board menu it said "super wet burrito", so that confused me for a second. Lol. The nachos order is big too though I might ask for yellow cheese and pinto beans next time instead of shredded cheese and refried beans. I like their blend of horchata too. It was slow and not crowded for a Sunday after 6 pm. I filled some of the tiny round containers with sauces, limes, and marinated veggies while waiting for my to go order. There's a service charge for credit card payments. Normal for some places now.

But when they are charging extra for stuff which is already in the ingredients... we'll u gotta stop and pause. I've frequent this taqueria a hand full of times and it's the closest mission style taqueria up here in pinole. It's always good service, tasty dishes with decent prices. That's why us humans go back. BUT when u charge extra for a certain type of proteins, there's room for questioning. So I ordered super nachos with carne asada as my meat and a small bottle coke. The total amount came to $24.40, I was surprised. I looked closer to the receipt and it was an extra $2.00 for the asada. Please just add it on the price or put it on the menu "extra for Carne Asada" so we don't get a little receipt shock. $25 dollars for super nachos and a small bottle of coke. Just saying "I won't be back anytime soon. Just wanna thank the trump voter's for the tariff's which makes everything more expensive. Great job.... NOT!!!

I opted for a Super Burrito de Pollo at Don Rafa prior to their cutoff/closing time. Their burrito did not disappoint! I loved the way it was wrapped securely and grilled to perfection. Though this spot is known for their chicken, I didn't really experience anything unique about this wrapped meal. It was delicious and tasted how it should be, but I was hoping the "star" of this meal would be their chicken. I ate my burrito immediately and it was served at a decent temp. Perhaps, I'll give Don Rafa a 2nd chance and order a half (or whole chicken). The Birria Pizza looked appetizing as well. Don Rafa is located inside of the Food Barn Market and reminds me of a Latino version of a Pacific Supermarket. The restaurant appears somewhat modern, tidy and spacious, while the rest of the market area seems outdated.
