I LOVE THIS LOCATION!!!! The friendly staff deserves a shoutout for their friendliness greeting and serving customers. We come here often for breakfast after working out. Our go-to menu item is the crunch wrap. After being regulars the staff anticipates our order and at times has it waiting as we come through the door. It literally "makes my day" to eat here. So I was excited about these new throw back menus. I'm in my 40's now and I stopped going to TB after they removed all my fav 90's/early 2000 items. The Baja Steak Gordita, 7 Layer Burrito, double decker and Cheese-O-Rito were awesome! I used to smash Taco Bell back in the day. They recently announced the 90's throwback menu which brought back the 7 layer and double D. I ordered with friends and got a value pack plus my 2nd most fav 7 Layer....most fave is the Baja Steak Gordita. To make a long story short, it was all trash. Everything taste like mush. I remember when the seven layer had rice you could taste and discern from other ingredients! Now it's just a paste. We all agreed that none of it taste like it used to and we are done here. After a long flight I arrived at Taco Bell at 10:46 PM went through the drive-through and told them I wanted the crunchy hard taco which is listed on tacobell.com as gluten-free. They said they did not have gluten-free items when I asked if it could be made separately or on a piece of paper they told me to come in that they had no gluten-free items so I went in and the manager laughed at me. I showed him the tacobell.com website he was very rude. I him his name and he said it was Salvador. I suggested that he check with his corporate office tomorrow or the main manager and he continued to laugh at me. The man working the drive-through did not know how to take my order or what he was doing he kept me at the drive-through for seven minutes before telling me to come in after flying in from Barcelona. The last thing I wanted to do was go in, but when I went in, I was approached by a bery rude manager, who as I said laughed at me. I told him it was not a laughing matter. He finally said well if the website says it's gluten-free we have never been made aware. I didn't ask him for the senior discount because he did not give it to me and he again laughed at me. I have never been treated with such disrespect, and I told him I would call the manager tomorrow and also corporate regarding his attitude. He looked at me and said you do that. Unfortunately, they made my tacos with very little items on it and I think they did it on purpose. Taco Bell is now open. It is just as disappointing as before they closed for a year, built a new building and reopened. We ordered Taco Supremes and burritos and got regular tacos and were charged for the Supremes. The tacos were mainly lettuce; very little meat or cheese. The bill was $27 which was ridiculous for the food we were served. Until they get it together, don't bother going there. read more

We've been going to this Taco Bell for years and I don't typically post on the big chains. You know what you're going to get when you go to the big chains. This location has always provided quick and friendly service. The drive through would get busy during lunch rush, but we've always had a good experience. All that being said, times are different. We ordered Taco Bell through Grubhub for the first time and had a great experience. Easy to order, food gets to you quickly, and the timing is very accurate. Don't forget to order the sauces. Best part was that the food traveled well. Out crispy tacos were still crispy, hot, and delicious. We have found our new way to get our Taco Bell fix. read more

For an older store and small lot this place has always had friendly staff and good food. It's never great but always good and cheap for lunch. Today I ended up getting a $5 big box. $5 for one hard shell taco, one loaded taco, one burrito, nacho's with cheese and a my dew!!! That's a lot of food!!!! Even a homeless person could fill up for $5 The only issue I've ever had here is the drive thru is hard because they have a pillar that keeps you so far away from the window. read more

Nevertheless, I happened to find myself at a second Taco Bell location in less than 16 hours (albeit 1,725 miles apart). So you're flying into MSP on Christmas Eve with your wife, brother, sister-in-law and niece, you pick up your rental cars and head out for the long journey to BFE (aka Wheaton, MN (yes, there is such a place)), and everyone needs some food. We want the food to be fast so we can get to where we're going to see our family whom we have not seen in quite some time. Where to go? Taco Bell on MN-7 off of I-494, of course; where else? Yep, it's a Taco Bell. It has all the Taco Bell menu you've grown to know and love over the years. I still get my standard (a 7-Layer Burrito, a Nachos Bell Grande, no meat, please and Fire Sauce). I would have shivved someone for a Diet Coke, but alas, this location, like everyone else in the world is Pepsi-oriented. Dammit. A Diet Pepsi it was [shudder]. Standard 3 yelp stars to start with. Add 1 yelp star due to Kelly's friendliness, helpfulness, cheerfulness (he *was* working on Xmas Eve, after all) plus the efficiency of the service. Since this is the closest Taco Bell to our house, this pains me to write this review, but on multiple occasions the evening manager (or some female employee on a power trip) has disrespected us. We have since driven out of our way to the location on 394 and Louisiana to get our late night fix, because this location was less than willing to fulfill our request. In fact, more than once when we've pulled up to the window they actually demanded that the driver place the order (which is BS because the driver in our car didn't know what to order for everyone, but I did), and then they got belligerent when I tried to explain why I would be placing the order. Would they rather it take twice as long as they wait for everyone in the car to tell the driver what they want? I don't think the people in line behind us would appreciate that! They are getting paid to take our freaking order...I don't expect any sass. SERIOUSLY. It's not that difficult to do your job! ...and what is this absurd rule about only accepting orders from the driver? Anyway, on multiple visits we have been more than disappointed with their service, and their chalupa shells are often stale, so therefore we will not be patronizing this location anymore. First visit to a TB in 3 years. Expect it may be another 3 yrs. Taco and burrito tasted good, but got severe diarrhea 6 hours later and it lasted 6 more hours! Liquid fire and Burn city. talked with manager later. He was decent but said they had had no complaints except mine. My hot sauce was clear as I put it on, so maybe it was bad. Doubt it and he said they rotate the sauces etc. Appearance was not good as view thru the drive thru was old and grimy. Lots of customers in drive-thru even at 3:30 pm. I think sanitation and housekeeping this very old TB resulted in contaminated food. Turned down his offer for a free meal coupon and said I didn't believe I would go it again anytime soon. read more
