Waited in line for drive through for over an hour. Once we arrived to the window, the attendant never acknowledged the wait and was very unprofessional: laughing and talking with coworkers. We continued to wait for our food at the window for another 10 minutes while all employees stand around talking inside. Very disappointed. We understand being short staffed at this time, however some acknowledgement for our wait would have been appreciated. From now on we'll just drive to Bend to pick up our food. Worst service today at drive through in Redmond. The lady at the service counter had minor kids with her. She did not answer at the order counter for 5 minutes. When she finally answered she was not audible. When questioned about why there was no answer for 5 minutes she was not happy. This is probably the worst Taco Bell I've been to. They can not seem to get my order right. Even when the drive through display shows it correctly. Whether giving me mild Sauce when I asked for Hot, putting extra guacamole on my order when I asked for extra sour cream or lettuce on my order when I specifically ordered no lettuce. At first I thought it was just a simple mistake but after 5 times and they have not my order correct, I will no longer be visiting this location. I have had issues in the past with incorrect orders but the recent staff has significantly improved on that. The employee in the drive through was so polite and in such a great positive mood. I was greeted with a smile and him double checking my order with me twice to the exact specifications. Everything I asked for was included and I would go back just for that employees great customer service. Waiting in like for about 15 minutes, no problem,. Ordered my food and asked for a Doritos Loco taco shell instead of the standard shell with my Crunchwrap supreme combo, I didn't see it changed so I drove to the window and asked the lady if it was changed and it wasn't, the lady gave me an attitude and it seemed like an issue to get the change done. This Taco Bell is probably one of the worst I have ever been to. They have always taken forever to get an order out in the drive thru. They are usually pretty accurate in getting the right food in your bag, although one time I got a chicken quesadilla instead of cheese- probably not a big deal when you aren't a vegetarian, but when you don't eat meat, no dinner.... Tonight their listed hours are until midnight, but they had their outside sign and restaurant lights off at 23:40. I guess that we are desperate here in central Oregon and so late night food hours can be wily nilly and the orders inaccurate. read more

Long road trip from Eugene, we were ravenous and decided on stopping here. My girlfriend is vegetarian and we ordered a black bean Crunchwrap online ahead of time with explicit custom directions. They even asked us to confirm that we ordered a black bean Crunchwrap on the drive thru screen before we picked it up. Instead what we got was a Crunchwrap with the most beef in it that I've ever seen. Didn't get any sauce in our bag as we requested, nor any napkins or a receipt. 2 stars instead of 1 though because I was impressed with how they seemed incredibly busy, but the person at the window had a friendly demeanor regardless. But still, hands down most disappointed fast food experience we've had, bar none. read more

Pulled into the parking lot tonight all the open signs were on the street sign was lit up and the entire dining room was lit up there was 6 cars in the drive through line the menus signs were on it was 1104 pm when I got in the line the website says it's open tell 12pm. I got up to the menu at 11:11 and the employee came on and said sorry we are closed I pointed out the above facts and she said sorry we are closed I said so your not going to serve me and she said no. So here is and educational opportunity for your staff what should have been done is the signs should have been turned off right away they should have sucked up their mistake and served the people that were in line,also 4 more cars had gotten behind me before they turned off the lights. I get that you have hours of operation however there are protocols that are followed when closing down for the night and turning off the lights is the first thing which should have been off 5 min before closing or 5 min after but you serve the people that get in line in the process I won't be back I'll just go to rigobertos read more

Look, there are obviously better places to get a burrito in Central Oregon. We have some really great mexican food joints here. So I'm not trying to say that the Redmond Taco Bell is gourmet food, by any stretch of the imagination. However, I think that they've gotten a bad rap from some of the other reviewers here. If you want cheap food, this is definitely the place to go. In a world where even McDonald's is doing away with their dollar menu, you can count on being able to feed an army with Taco Bell without it costing an arm and a leg (which is usually how I end up finding myself here). Of course, it seems like I'm not the only one who realizes that, so (especially during rush times like lunch or dinner), their drive thru is VERY busy. And since they specialize in feeding armies (with things like their 12 taco box), oftentimes those people in line are getting LOTS of food. Your alternative, so that you aren't waiting in line forever and also so you can choose to leave if you don't feel like standing in line forever, is to walk inside. I realize that this seems backwards, since the drive-thru was always supposed to be your quicker option, but I'm finding more and more that quicker service is often found by walking through the front door. The convenience of the drive-thru is being able to sit on your butt while you wait. All of that being said, though, the Redmond Taco Bell's food isn't terrible. It's Taco Bell, so you can't really expect much in the way of quality. But they've never gotten my order wrong, the food has always been fresh, and it's never made me sick (or anyone else that I know of who's eaten here). read more

Horrible, horrible. Not enough ways to say it. Second time drive thru was incredibly long but last night was 62 minutes. You read that right. 62. Once you're in the line you're trapped, no way to get out, either. Poor management can't get staffing issues right, obviously. Oh, and they'll say they're out of food, yet you've waited so long they could have plainly cooked it during the one hour wait! Common sense is not common. Never again. What is up with this Taco Bell? Since when do I have to pay extra for green sauce instead of red on my burrito? Then to top it off, I have been told that I am not allowed more than 3 sauces for my food. 3 sauces??? What the hell? I usually use 10 for my taco and burrito and tostada. Now they say the OWNER said they can only give one sauce per item. I was so furious, told them to give me my money back. So they said OK. REALLY??? You are going to lose out on my sale over 7 sauces. Was very surprised to find this quaint gem hidden inside the strange industrialized layout of Redmond's outer limits. My boyfriend and I were delighted to find the pristinely rolled burritos packed so precisely that we could actually differentiate between the guac, the sour cream, and the beans. This is really a difficult review for me. I've been to this Taco Bell maybe 10 times now. Sometimes the service is really really good with very adorable, cute young women at the window who are very nice. Other times it's incredibly bad. Today for instance waited THIRTY THREE MINUTES at the driver up. The bad thing is, you can't get out once you are in, you are stuck. The food is just Taco Bell, which is OK, I like it. This Taco Bell has consistently high health inspection ratings, Google "deschutes county food inspection" for detailed information. What is truly funny is, if you call Taco Bell Customer Service at 1-800-822-6235, good luck to you, because they CARE SO MUCH about their customers THEY DON'T ANSWER even after waiting on hold a FULL HOUR on THREE different occasions during the middle of a work day. That is seriously bad customer service. Then to top it off if you call their Corporate HQ at 1-800-822-6235 you immediately go into a phone cue listening to Taco Bell ads, and then when the operator comes on, if you tell her you couldn't get through to customer service and you'd very courteously like to complain all she does it PUT YOU BACK IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE CUE WHERE YOU JUST WAITED FOR AN HOUR. I'll still go there because occasionally I need some Taco Bell, you just want it sometimes, but my God it's embarrassing that their service is so incredibly bad.
