Ok, like other people have said, Taco Bell is my guilty pleasure. I mean if you offered me dinner at Emilitsa (my favorite) or Taco Bell, I'd hesitate. I'm not proud of this fact, but it is what it is. Now this is the closest Taco Bell to my house, so it is the one I frequent the most. The food is always pretty good, albeit usually messy; as if the person making it was doing jumping jacks whilst assembling. But it always tastes good and is hot. So that's something. Restaurant wise, it's a Taco Bell and KFC, so it's not overly clean. The drink station is always a disaster. The bathrooms are marginally 'clean'. The counters and tables always have food remnants from buyers long past. Let's be honest, you don't come here because it's clean. You come here because it's cheap, it tastes ok, and you're most likely drunk or hungover. The workers are awesomely rude. But I love that. A Crunchwrap supreme with a side of sarcasm? It's almost as good as the melty nacho cheese. Pour it all over my food! The biggest downside here is the drive-thru. Doesn't matter if you're the only one in line, or if it's morning or night, or Christmas or June. It's gonna take you damn near 10 minutes regardless of what you order. I don't know what it is about the drive-thru but they need to figure that out. Cause it's terrible. And people know this, so that makes the inside more busy. It's a vicious cycle. Get faster. It's beef and cheese, and you don't make it look pretty, what is taking so long? I can only assume the workers are praying to the Lord of Doritos Locos, asking for their blessing upon my cool ranch Taco. Anyhow, I won't stop going here, and neither will you. It's awesome, and somehow makes us feel young again. Like I'm post bender in college. I even spend the time in the bathroom like after the bender, albeit for a different reason. me and my friend wanted to get taco bell. we had 2 different transactions, tell me why the worker aliza or eliza held out the card reader machine 2 different times and we both paid for our meals. then she said "you still have to pay for the second order" WHICH WE ALREADY DID BUT SHE IS TOO BAD AT HER JOB SHE COUDLNT UNDERSTAND THAT. she slammed the window on us as we are trying to explain that we both paid for our meals and we shouldn't have to pay again, and she was so difficult to the point that she wouldn't even give us a refund so that we both could rightfully pay for our meals as we already did. she messed up our orders aswell, if she gave a fake name then her hair is brown/blonde, she's white, blue eyes, and was truly so disrespectful to us. she deserves to be fired and is a nasty person. the car infront of us also had an issue with this girl aswell, we heard them getting into a fight. keep in mind we are teenage girls just trying to get our food while this grown woman is so incompetent and disrespectful to literal children. read more

Although I am sure that most are aware when I am going a review of a place like KFC / Taco Bell, there really is not a lot of thought to be put into it because it is usually a cookie cutter experience but this one was one that I wanted to address because the last couple of times that I have frequented this establishment, it has been subpar. I know what you typically get when you order fried/grilled chicken and/or tacos but the service should still be good and they should overcome the image with stellar customer service. They are short most of the time both in the drive thru and walking in where you seem almost like you are bothering the associates and impeding their daily grind. EVERY time I have gone there to order a 3 piece grilled chicken drumsticks and thigh meal, they are always out of grilled chicken. I don't understand this? I know it probably is not the most popular because it is slightly "healthier" and is not the greasy fried original or crispy version of the chicken but you should still have some made for the ones who want it. Then when I ask for it, I feel almost as if they are appalled and let me know it will take like 10 minutes so is there anything else they can give me. No wonder I like going to smaller moms and pops establishments that want to take care of my needs and do anything to make my experience better. Ok, no doubt this place takes a quite a bit for your food to be ready, however, I'm reviewing it for the very very nice lady at the register inside. Friendly and smiles a lot. I wonder how often she gets complaints and is still so kind. Thank you. UPDATE: Literally right after I posted this, I saw the lady from the counter go outside to do something. Found out she was looking for a lady to give her something else for her order. Anyway, smiling and happy the entire time, her name is Ann. Best experience i've had at a Taco Bell. Let's get one thing straight...I have very little expectations from my TB. I love Taco Bell. I really do, and I will eat it, at most times, however it comes. If I receive something remotely close to what I ordered, I'll take it. No complaints. This particular location though...I've never walked away pleased or full or calm from the Scarborough, ME, TB. I have returned far too many times because the management (not the staff itself) is kind and responsive. But just today, I had to return triple layer nachos THREE times, and on my fourth go around, I put it in the trash because I could not comfortably go in and complain again. It's literally 4 ingredients. And one or another time, it was missing one, or two, of those ingredients, or it was out of its container and plastered around the plastic bag, or (my fave) masquerading as a beverage. All Taco Bell locations seem to have issues these days, more so than the normal downhill slide of fast food. I keep trying and keep getting disappointed. I travel all over the country while on the road an average of 300 days a year and staying in one location about two weeks at a time. I have tried dozens of locations all over the U.S.; 2 out of 3 have an issue with the fountain drinks. No ice, wildly miscalibrated machines for syrup/carbonation, the spouts not being put back on correctly (resulting in them spraying and leaking out of the sides) general off flavors. Dining rooms are always dirty, food is rarely consistent one location to the next. There is a 90% chance you will encounter at least one rude employee that obviously does not want to be there. I heard an employee question a customer repeatedly and insisted the customer got Baja blast instead of Mountain Dew when that customer complained of the off flavor. I watched that customer indeed get Mountain Dew. I tried every flavor myself after that and they were all flat and generally gross. I see this all the time in multiple locations in multiple states, not just a location or two. Pathetic that Corp does not do more mystery shops of their inconsistent franchises. This place is ridiculous. Visited on Sunday June 4th just before 4:00. The day shift here were yelling at each other and arguing over who was going to wait on customers. One older woman here was throwing a fit and slamming stuff around so finally someone with a shift supervisor name tag came over to the counter. She was acting afraid of the erractic older one. (Maybe named Cindy?) Same with the cooking staff. I think all of the employees hated each other by the looks of things. They definitely did not want any customers. A few minutes later there was new staff that came in. They were in a great mood and got to work cleaning up the mess of the other ones. Emptying garbage cans and cleaning near the soda machines, etc. And serving customers with a smile! Imagine that?! Sad that they had to come in to clean up after the slacker crew There are signs up in here saying they are now hiring. Hopefully they do soon and fire at least four of the ones we seen today. Love Taco Bell so we'll return again next time we're in the area. And walk back out if it is just as bad. read more

They are obviously having problems here. Be prepared to shut off the car to conserve gas in the drive-thru and not to get offered, never mind receive, dipping sauces-hot sauce-napkins. Don't even bother trying to go in. The 3 cigarette smoking employees behind the open kitchen door in full view of the stagnant drive-thru line was a nice touch. I wasn't expecting much, it's Taco Bell. Didn't get much. Order took waaaaaaay too long and was incomplete. I wouldn't normally even go to Taco Bell, but: I had to pick up a request for my pregnant friend and had THE BEST customer service at the drive thru that I could have ever imagined with fast food. For a second I thought I was a a chick fil a because the staff was so polite and they offered my dog a couple chicken nuggets. I was very impressed with the service. Went inside to order and customize Nachos Belle Grande today. I ordered the nachos and started to customize my order by telling the young man that I didn't want beans or sour cream. He interrupted me and asked me if I wanted beef. I repeated that I didn't want beans because I thought he misunderstood me. He asked me again if I wanted beef and said beef loudly and slowly as though I was an idiot who didn't know what beef was. I said I thought it came with seasoned beef. He said it does, but you can add chicken or steak. I said I did not want to add chicken or steak but that I did not want beans or sour cream. He raised his voice at me and said I can't take off what you don't want until I add what you want as if I'm supposed to know how their system works. I turned around and walked out and will never go to this Taco Bell again. This isn't the first time I've had problems with employees at this Taco Bell. They really need to learn some manners and also need to know what comes in the items they sell. I ordered the nachos one time, and they left out the tomatoes. read more

Upon visiting the great state of Maine I was feeling a bit hungry. Rather then stop somewhere for an expensive meal I figured I'd get something quick and cheap. Cheap is exactly the word for what this taco bell was. Not in dollar signs but in food quality. I myself got a five layer burrito without the beans. This was average and boring as to be expected. My lover on the other hand also got the same burrito with extra nacho cheese. The cheese was there but the creamy white goodness of the sour cream seemed to be missing. I don't know about you but I enjoy the sour cream to be oozing in every bite giving you the overall sense of goodness. It should not leave you with the bland taste of tortilla. Incredibly dissapointed. Have I mentioned that this establishment was also paired with a KFC? Because it was. And maybe that's why it sucked so incredibly bad. I mean it sucked more then a five dollar hooker on a saturday night prowling the Vegas Strip. Our friend had the "loaded" potato griller. HAH loaded. If even possible this was worse than the burrito. The shredded "cheese" wasn't even melted. So how persay was this even "grilled" if the cheese wasn't even cooked? There was no sour cream until her very last sad pathetic griller bites.
