I absolutely swear by Taco Bell's spicy potato tacos. Like it's my religion. When you're vegetarian, yr options everywhere are limited. At least at this point in time in history. But the world is becoming more sustainable so we'll see. The best feature is I can order any time of night, until like 2am, awesome sauce. The Taco Bell app is a must! You Apple Pay that baby, and then waltz right in, with yr order ready to rock. No one seems to do this, so it makes the process even more efficient. This used to be one of my favorite guilty pleasures - but ever since Covid this particular branch is acting like they've gone broke. The Taco Supremes have 1 tablespoon of beef in them - literally -!! - and if you ask for beans instead of beef they act like the beans are more expensive than the beef and give you half a tablespoon. I've tried calling the restaurant a few times to ask the manager why they're being so incredibly stingy with such high prices during this pandemic. They never answer the phone... it literally ordering 28 times and then disconnects. Taco Bell - I've been going to you for 20 years. You lost a loyal customer with this idiocy. Two of the last 3 times I ate at Taco Bell on Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks, people had their dogs with them in the restaurant. Today there were two people with dogs at their table. My understanding from the Board of Health is that you can only have dogs OUTSIDE at a restaurant not INSIDE. I brought this to the attention of the person behind the counter and they did nothing. It shouldn't matter whether it is the French Laundry or Taco Bell, if it's against policy for food-serving establishments then it should be enforced. Black bean crunch wraps are ON THEIR OFFICIAL MENU and somehow more than once I've been served meat which I don't find out about until I take a bite of it myself. It's 12:45am. Drive thru paper sign says 1 am. Not cool. I was coming home and was hungry! I love Taco Bell and my usual is Mexican Pizza combo with the mango iced tea! For many years, this branch used to be your standard... Taco Bell. You know what you're getting, and you like it because of that. But things have gone downhill fast at this Taco Bell location in 2022. Now, the employees seem to be extra clueless, or inefficient, or slow. The prices on the drive-through menu board do not match what they actually charge you (often .50 cents to a $1 more on every item) If the drive-through line goes out to Ventura Blvd, which is only five cars length, chances are you'll be waiting 30+ minutes. Your order may or may not be sloppily put together. It's a crapshoot. It didn't used to be this erratic. Delivery driver here. I will not be picking up from this place until they build a pick up window just for delivery drivers. This is a notoriously bad Taco Bell because the line is down the block at 2 in the morning. But guess what??? every drunk person in LA is ordering Taco Bell at 2 in the morning and this is one of the only ones open. So obviously the line is long period I'm not going to wait in that line because it's not worth the money to wait in it. I'm such a "big guy" when it comes to Taco Bell! Its my guilty pleasure! I visit a Taco Bell at least once or twice a week. My go to is the chicken quesadilla. The sauce they use is to die for. I wonder if they'll sell just the sauce and I can make my own dinner at home. Haha. This location, you're able to order online and pick up in store or drive thru. It's a taco bell. Have you been to a taco bell before? They're all kind of the same. That being said, there are some things that set this taco bell apart from others. "Apart" might leave you to believe it's "better" and that might be the case, but not always. So the "good": -The dining area is always fairly clean and orders placed inside are served promptly. -They have a decent sized parking lot that's easy to access form either Ventura or Moorpark. You're always going to be able to find parking if you're looking here. The "not-so-good": -The drive through does a weird "snake" through the the parking lot. There's really only space in the line for two cars. The rest of the cars are going to have to awkwardly wait for their turn. There's also two entrances to the drive through lane; one from Ventura, the other from Moorpark. This can also lead to some confusion as to whose turn it may be. The drive through also can go fairly slow at times, which can be frustrating. All-in-all, this taco bell is pretty nice as far as taco bells go. The ample parking lot space is what really sets it apart from other nearby locations. read more

What the?! How does this happen?! This Taco Bell is so close to home, so I frequently utilize it for a quick bite. Unless something is done about this, that will be a thing of the past. Before I get to this incident in question (it is seriously unbelievable), here are some general things to keep in mind for this location::: The drive-thru is a super wonky set up-there are two ways to enter it, but not everyone honors that, so you can get blocked out very easily. The parking lot is not in super close proximity to the actual building, so you have to cross The drive-thru lanes to get inside. For any handicap drivers out there, this includes you too! On the one positive note-contrary to what you may find on yelp, Google, or anywhere online- the drive-thru is open 24/7 ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS make sure that you double check your bag to make sure that they did not mess up the order. Going through the drive-thru, my order has been messed up numerous times. They ring it up right on the receipt, I am charged for any extras- but these things are missing or the order is not put together right. Double check your stuff. NOW, I have tried calling three times with no answer-if I wouldn't have seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it myself! I did not double check my bag before leaving the drive through-but when I got home I had an unpleasant surprise. There was a crumpled up dirty sock in my bag of food! When the cashier was busy the manager jumped on register to help me. He said his name was Javier or Hector, sorry I have a terrible memory for names. Anyway, I asked for a lot of extra sauce and sometimes places say they're going to give you a lot but you end up getting home and there are only 3 inside or none at all. This guy was pleasant, nice about it, and when I opened the bag in the car there were plenty of sauces, along with great nachos.
