I waited 30 minutes in drive thru and 15 of those just to get to the intercom. I ordered 2 bean beef and cheese burritos and was thinking "gold please let them be competent enough to get this right" because I have had this issue with almost every other Taco Bell I have been to. News flash, they gave me someone else's order after repeating mine 4 times. I only figured this out after I got home. It's a burrito with 3 things on it, it's not like I told them to build me rocket. What makes me even more mad is that they close their lobby at 8pm, thus making their one window drive thru the only way to get food, and believe me, it does not settle down after 8pm in a college town. In short, I swear these people made a deal with the devil because the incompetency of this seams intentional at this point. Shut this place down and train some competent people please. After having a particularly awesome experience at the Taco Bell in northern Indiana I return home to west lafayette to the single worst taco bell still in operation. First, employees at the lowest level truly do not care that you're there and apparently have no qualms serving you potatoes that are hard enough to draw blood from my gums when bitten into. Second, the management staff is a joke and that includes ALL of their management staff. Instead of addressing the concern I proposed or offering a remedy, the woman argues with me that it happens and that they change their potatoes regularly after 30 minutes. So apparently today I learned that a potato can become FOSSILIZED in 30 minutes at 200 degrees. Third, I even reached out to the "District manager" to be blown off. Taco Bell Corporate, save yourself a lawsuit and please close this location down, train the employees to be able to follow simple food safety procedures and practice common courtesy with their guests. Avoid this location like the plague, sincere and deep disregard for customer satisfaction and frankly safety. read more

First, they told me that my doordash order was given away. Waited in line for 5 minutes with no one in the front by the cashier. This was a literal 5 minutes and not the figurative numbers that people use. An old couple in line in front of me ended up just walking out and leaving. No one came until a friend of an employee yelled someone's name out to come and help take orders. The person that was called from the back then called someone from the front of the store to come take our order. I didn't see her, nor the boy training, when I walked in. The woman taking our order seemed to be in a bad mood and did a good job of projecting her mood onto us. She was training a young man who for the most part seemed very lost and in general not very good with social interactions. Our food did not come out for another 10 minutes, which I feel is pretty long for a Taco Bell. When our order was called, the employee was also rude delivering the food, simply calling our name before running back to the back of the restaurant. I also applied here with about 6 months cashier experience and they told me they weren't hiring right now. ¡Hola me Amigos! Taco Bell is my favorite spot to get authentic Mexican cuisine. I ordered a #4 , the Mexican pizza (don't worry my tummy can handle it, I'm experienced). It was delicious and better than the one I had last night for dinner. This location was the perfect level of spicy for my evening. There's no place I'd rather stop during a long road trip. I would not consider Taco Bell to be fine cuisine in any sense of the word, but I would expect them to be fast food. On more than one occasion, I have had a significant wait for my fairly simple meal. Over a busy lunch hour, I can often forgive such a wait, but seeing the mechanics behind that wait make it less so. They are simply inefficient with their system of orders, seemingly understaffed, although I think the focus is on their drive-thru window and not on the lobby. As an example, my most recent visit had the cashier interrupt taking orders to tend to the lids bins and water on the floor in the ordering area while a line of customers were waiting. Oh, I will be back as they are still fast enough and inexpensive enough for my purposes, but only because of the food and not because of the service. read more

Don't get me wrong...I absolutely love taco bell but I experienced some very bad service tonight. Something that should have been more like a 10 minute ordeal became an hour. As my roommate and I had decided to grab a "quick" bite to eat, I smartingly ordered using the mobile app prior to our arrival(hoping it would actually be quick). In my mind, i would maybe wait for my mobile order at 20 minutes tops(I was soo wrong). When we arrive to said taco bell, the mobile ordering parking spot stated to walk inside for pickup, but assuming that Covid can be a big deal in some parts, the doors were obviously locked so I make the smart decision to call and make sure that the correct thing to do was go through the drive thru as one does(drive thru it is). So I'm sitting in the drive thru like a person would do to order their food(keep in mind I ordered my food maybe 20 minutes prior to getting into the drive thru). As I am watching, a lady has been sitting at the monitor ordering for what seemed like forever so the guy behind me(grubhub employee) decides to cut in front of her, seeing this I do the same as well. In my mind I wasn't causing any harm as my food should already be ready and I had ordered before her in the long run(WRONG). As I pull up to the window they agreed with the yelling lady behind me and suggested to go back around. By now its been an almost 40 minute ordeal so I decided to go ahead and cancel my order on the app. Sadly, I was unable to cancel it due to them already starting the order(understandable). No biggy, I was originally in a hurry, but at that point I was just to the point where I was gonna go ahead and wait it out. Twenty minutes later, I finally make it the window to pick up my 8 item order(chicken quesadilla, chips and cheese, a taco, and 5 mild sauce packets). As I was already frustrated I pull away and head to the gas station before digging through for my food, I mean they had a whole hour to get my food ready. I was wrong again. I didn't get my mild sauce(which I can totally live without), I got a chicken quesadilla without cheese(also was not cut), and cheese sauce with not chips, but the taco was made perfectly. A major ordeal that all started at 5:01 pm and ended on a bad note at 6:01 pm. All in all, I would just like to suggest that if there is going to be mobile ordering available, please note that you still have to wait in a long drive thru line and that it could take hours to get your food that may not be everything that you were looking forward to. read more
