2.5/5 -- Disappointed Despite a Promising Start I recently hired this taco catering company for my daughter's high school graduation party after my original caterer had to cancel just three days before the event. In a stressful situation, the owner, Kevin, was extremely kind, professional, and reassuring. He told me, "We're going to save the day," and I genuinely believed we were in good hands. We discussed my expected guest count (65-75 people), and Kevin recommended planning for the full 75 to be safe -- I appreciated the advice and went with his suggestion. I also upgraded to their second-tier package (not the basic), expecting a more premium experience, especially for what I was paying -- over $800 for two hours of service. I communicated my expectations clearly and followed up several times to make sure everything would go smoothly. Here's where things went wrong: Only 45 minutes into service, all of the condiments were nearly gone -- onions, cilantro, lemons, salsa -- all wiped out. One of our guests offered to help the single staff member sent to serve and refill, only to find out that the half trays he had were all that was sent. There was simply not enough to serve 75 people, even though each guest was supposed to get at least 5 tacos. We ended up with only about 55 guests, and it still wasn't enough. I had to go inside and chop extra veggies myself to restock the table. It was embarrassing and stressful -- the opposite of what you want at a celebration. I contacted Kevin during the event, and he said he would send additional produce. While I appreciate that effort, the delivery didn't arrive until 9 PM -- after service had ended, which didn't help us in the moment. In summary: Great customer service leading up to the event Poor planning and execution on the day of Not enough food or condiments for the number of people paid for Late response when trying to fix the issue I really wanted to leave a glowing review, especially after how accommodating Kevin was initially, but unfortunately, the day of the event was a letdown. For the price I paid, I expected a much more professional and well-prepared service. I hope this review helps the company improve in the future, because with a few adjustments, they really could deliver a great experience. read more
