Um YUM!!! I wish we taken pictures but we were so excited we just dove in. We got the chimichanga and the seafood burrito and both were phenomenal. We kept stealing bites from each other. Everything on the menu looked good. They have lots of room to eat inside or you can easily take it to go. The staff was very friendly as well. Definitely would go back! read more

Our recent visit to the bus for Taco Tuesday was bit mixed. On the positive side the tacos tasted better. Not sure how or why. Maybe a little less lime or slaw . The chicken empanadas were as usual excellent. On the downside, our takeout order was shorted a taco. Ugh! The taco bus in T.I is built for covid 19 restrictions. It's big and roomy with tables and chairs easily moved. And since it's within walking distance of our condo, the bus is a great place for a quick lunch there or to go. Next time though I'll check the bag to make sure it's all there. read more

A great neighborhood addition! This is a casual Mexican food place that also serves alcohol for those of you that like your taco con cerveza. I was thrilled that they offer a good amount of vegetarian options since me and my husband are plant based. The staff is super friendly the decor is great, cmon a real school bus inside! And it's super spacious with seating inside and outside. We're looking forward to some plans for open mic, karaoke nights coming soon. read more

Another Guy Fieri / DDD gem of a find. Absolutely the freshest ingredients, and the fish and shrimp for the tacos tasted like they were just out of the water. If you like spicy, then the chicken protein is the one for you. No greasiness or oily feeling to the food, and plenty of vegetarian options for those in your group. My only regret is not getting there on a Tuesday for $2 tacos. read more

Such a disappointing experience! We have been to 2 other taco bus locations and loved it... this time, not so much. Our ordered was wrong, we were overcharged for our food and then when we went to straighten it out the workers fought amongst each other and in the end explained that it was our fault and made us wait in line again to order the food they forgot in the first place?!? Normally I'm a raving fan of the Taco Bus. Working downtown Tampa and living near two other locations I would always choose the Bus for their vegetarian and vegan taco options. Unfortunately this location chose to play discrimination games and refused service to many of us because of our free speech and politics. So I'm done with all Taco Bus. I try to support local places especially the restaurants with vegan foods and I'm so disappointed as are my friends. read more

The food is EXCELLENT. Their service is abysmal. I have ordered to go dozens of times and I have done it for the last time. I swear to god, every order is missing something, but my last order was over $60 and I was missing almost HALF of it!!! I'm done. I don't have time to call and deal with issues EVERY SINGLE TIME! Love this place, good food for a good price, they have a great variety and even vegan options,would go back again

I ordered the taco salad with vegan toppings and I don't know if they just assume if you don't eat meat, you'll want less ingredients, but what I received was a glorified glorified taco shell with runny salsa on the side. Not chunky at all. I didn't even get all of the ingredients, like the corn. What's most disappointing was the salsa didn't really add any flavor to the dish. It was more like salad dressing. Plus I ordered a drink and they forgot to bring it to me and when I went to ask for it, they didn't even apologize. read more

Worst tacos ever. I ordered 2 spicy chicken tacos, but what I got tasted like fish & mustard. There was very little chicken, a few stray pieces of fish, and piles of pico de gallo & cheese, all drenched in this awful watery mustard goop (I'm guessing a fish marinade? I've never tasted anything resembling mustard in any Mexican restaurant before). After half of one I threw the other away. Churros were ok but nothing special - no topping or filling. Atmosphere is great! Very clean! Service is friendly! Prices are good! Food-just ok. Its not traditional taco bus food. We only had a taco on Taco Tuesday. Not enough to really give a fair review. Its very american. The salsa didn't have good flavor but everyone has different tastes for salsa. They did give us free chips and salsa since it was our first time here. Very nice of them. If your looking for traditional taco bus food, this isn't it. read more

First time eating at the Treasure Island location. Super happy to see vegan options for my vegan friend. The food was delicious! Portobello tacos! Squash tacos! Vegan cheese! Wow! HOWEVER; no staff were wearing masks. They all put their masks on with nose exposed when we asked them to. The cashier kept pulling her mask down to talk. The restroom was so filthy I don't feel like I can trust the kitchen to be clean. I will not go into detail, but trust me. So the bottom line is: delicious food if you don't mind risking your health. I love fish tacos, and these rank right up there with the best. Great spicy shrimp tacos, empanadas, salsa and queso, and my wife says the chicken tacos are delicious, too! The location on Treasure Island is my favorite, but the one in South Tampa is really good, too. read more

Wasnt pleased at all. There queso was just pure liquid no taste had diced jalapeños an corn in it. My mom an I split the 2 pound burrito we picked steak, 2.00 up charge which was fine any of the food had taste. The chips that came with the queso were stale an no good! read more

Lived in the area for about 4 years and this was our first trip in. There are SO many places to choose from it is hard to weed out the typical and get to the local lovelies. Well, this is a local lovely. Sounds like the original one in St Pete closed due to over saturation of this type of food. TI is a great location as they get the vacationers as well as the locals.
