The man who took our order was so kind. He offered our granddaughter little rubber ducks which she loves. The food is delicious too. My husband ordered the nachos and I had the taco salad with grilled chicken. Plenty of food!! There's a large variety of adult beverages too if you're there without the grand child!!

Service was friendly. Food hit the spot! Would definitely recommend if you're beaching it up and want something yummy and light (surprisingly)

The tacos are amazing! So many vegan options! My wife had a plant fare and a portobello, both well spiced savory and delicious. I had the plant fare and the vegan steak - both well spiced and delicious. The chips and salsa were forgettable, but the tacos more than make up for it! Great ambiance and fast friendly service!

Here today for lunch. Party of three. My first time here. The food was just so-so. Wife enjoyed hers. Son said was alright. I'm not sure if I will return.

Love this spot! Street mexican food made fresh to order and comes out quick. Had the fish tacos this time and chicken quesadillas both fantastic. Churros were cooked perfectly with a side of chocolate sauce.

Seems strange doing a Taco Bus review after all these years. In my 35+ years here I do not remember there not being one. I started eating their tacos from a bus on Hillsborough where they originated. With the expansion to 8 locations I have eaten at a few. I love the food and always have, menus vary and change which is inevitable but good eats is a constant. I remember ordering ceviche at the original store but do not recall seeing it at other locations. My usual orders range from the tacos to burritos, tostadas, quesadilla and the cheesy fried chimichanga. Love both the red and green sauces now served at the newer locations but my favorite was a hot sauce I used to get at the original bus. It used to make my head sweat and tingle. But I have not been there in a long time. While I have tried all the proteins like chicken, shrimp, pork and beef (except the newer vegan ones), my heart is most content when I get the pork carnitas with everything including sour cream and guacamole. Love the flavor of that mojo pork. It does not hurt that pricing is great and I am always full and satisfied when done. Nowadays you can get frozen margaritas which the wife and I enjoy. I like the traditional lime and she likes the sweeter flavors of mango and strawberry. There are desserts like flan, churros and dulce de leche. I always loved the fact that their corn tortillas were made from Mexican corn and not the genetically modified monsanto American corn that contains pesticides and poisons. But, Mexico lost the fight to keep American corn out of Mexico after threats of sanctions. So, that may change if it has not already. . The location in Treasure Island is bright, colorful and cheery. The workers nice, helpful, friendly and humble. The wife, an introvert, likes chatting with them. Do not forget $2 tacos on Tuesdays and it is one of my wifes favorite places for beef empanadas. Come get ya' some!

The ambiance is fun and nostalgic . the food is very good and tacos are large and stuffed for the price..service was good -order and pick up at bus/counter inside ...has cute tees for sale They also serve beer and margaritas and various delicious looking popsicles that i didn't try but will next time..had 3 corn crunchy tacos-portobello, spicy chicken and carne asada...loved all 3...rice was just ok.......will return

Cute concept, fast casual. I wanted to be in love with the food but it fell a bit short. The queso was good, pico was decent but the steak was not very well seasoned and had a char taste. I also did not like the green salsa which was not mild/hot enough & the red salsa was bland basic stewed tomatoes with little to no flavor. The restaurant was very clean and staff was friendly. Service prep time was quick. Easy location to get into on beach road.

I noticed they were at one point awarded best of the bay which could just be locals supporting local businesses which is typically how that list goes, because I would definitely not vote this as the best Cuban sandwich. Cute little local shop with mostly outside covered seating and a couple inside two seaters. This is an order at the counter restaurant near treasure island/madeira beach. Great flavor but where is the pork? The meats were limited and the most important one very scarce. They also want $11 for just the sandwich. Was it the worst I've had? No. Was it authentic? Yes. Would i recommend this Cuban sandwich? Sadly, no. If it were half that price and you just wanted a cubano I would say yes. But if you are looking for a truly good cuban sandwich because you've never had one or are craving one, I would not send you here. Decent. But not great. Price too high especially for the lack of meat. For that I give 3 stars

We have had the traditional Cuban, the Salami and the Roast Beef. All are amazing. It is a no frills spot with plenty of outdoor seating and some indoor as well. While walking through the shops, we noticed this brewery on the second floor above several stores and decided to head up since we love craft beer. The space itself is very large, though it felt a bit emptier than we expected for such a busy tourist destination. Because of that, we weren't expecting much from the beer, but we were pleasantly surprised. The selections we tried were outstanding and easily exceeded our expectations. We didn't try the food, so we can only comment on the beer, but based on that alone we would definitely recommend stopping in. If the atmosphere had been a little more lively, this would easily have been a five-star experience for us.

We've enjoyed their red sangria elsewhere, so we decided to check out their actual location for food and drinks. We typically prefer breweries with a more casual vibe, where you can relax with drinks and food without a strong "restaurant" feel or table service making us feel rushed. First, we had to pay for parking, which we hadn't expected, but it is a tourist area, so we understood. The food was just okay, and we felt our server was trying to rush us, even though we just wanted to unwind, chat, and enjoy our food and drinks. After only ordering 2 appetizers and 1 round of drinks, we were asked "alright you guys ready for your check" we mentioned we wanted a second round and when she brought that over she continued with "I'll be over in 10-15mins to check you guys out" and mentioned we just wanted to hang out for a bit and enjoy our drink. On the positive side, the place has a cute vibe inside, with outdoor and bar seating, plus some arcade games for kids. Would we go back if we're in the area? Yes, the drinkswere great and we'd be open to trying other menu items. But was it worth a special stop? Not really. TikTok @WorthTheStopp

Considering there is high traffic or tourists we understood and went in to put our names on the wait list. When my group of four woman(one Latina, one black woman and two white woman), we were told it would be about 25 minutes and were added to the list. We walked through the restaurant towards the beach noticing there were many empty tables. We figured a shift change but out curiosity as the time went on I asked one of the servers if there was a reason for the slow seating. She began to tell us that the kitchen was extremely backed up and they just caught up and it shouldn't be long. After more than 30 minutes went by I asked the woman at the hostess stand named Jean for an update on time and she said we were next and we would receive a text. As we continued to wait for our seating we were getting closer to an hour and noticed groups of white mena and women being sat ahead of us. More tables became available but for some reason ours was not ready yet, per Jean. When we spoke to Jean about our concern, I told her I believed were being racially profiled and oppose to apologizing, lack of explanation or reassurance she said it was not ready and that she couldn't believe we went there and raised her voice about table not being ready. In 2026 no group of individuals should feel dismissed or given different treatment due to their race. As entrepreneurs we were disappointed and disgusted that the management has clearly allowed this for years, as Jean has been there for 30 years and has multiple complaints when I also brought this up to the Bilmar staff. I would strongly encourage the management team to go back and reevaluate their team and move forward with hiring some new and firing the old. Every guest deserves to have equal treatment and respect . Clearly inclusivity and equality is not being prioritized. We must do better.

We came here one night for drinks and after seeing the menu knew we had to come back for a meal. The food looked so amazing and it was very hard to choose which option to go with. For the app we had the crab Rangoon dip and the Midwesterner in me was missing my cheese so we also had the Wisconsin cheese curds. The cheese curds were pretty classic and the Parmesan cheese on top added a nice twist. The crab dip... I'm drooling just thinking about it. If you like crab you need to get that app. For the meal, I had the Surf and Turf with coconut shrimp. Sweet Mary was I glad I did. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection and the coconut shrimp with spicy Thai sauce was so good. The shrimp had the perfect crunch while the shrimp themselves were tender. They also have a wide variety of drinks and beers which was nice to try some new things. I do also want to do a shout out to Robert who was our waiter. He was phenomenal! There was a section with some toys to entertain kids which was a nice touch! Service was good and it wasn't super busy when we got there as it was after the lunch rush. Our table ordered a lot of different dishes. We got the bang bang shrimp, which was delicious and probably the highlight of the meal. I got a lobster roll with fries for my entree and it was okay. There was a ton of lettuce on it, which I was not a fan of and the bun split very easily. I ended up just eating the lobster straight off the plate. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion. I'd go with something else. My girlfriend got the Lobster Alfredo and it was not good. The pasta was super doughy and overcooked. The Alfredo sauce itself didn't have a lot flavor either. The whole thing was just not good and once again not worth the price. Our niece got butter noodles and they were the same way. Overcooked and tasted like they'd been sitting in water or something. She didn't eat it. I would skip the pasta entrees. The other item we were disappointed with was the Crab Rangoon dip. It had a fishy tang to it that we weren't a fan of. Someone in our group got the tacos for taco Tuesday and said they were good. Chicken tenders were also yummy. Overall, we had an okay experience. If we came back, we'd go with different items on the menu for sure.
