I had not eaten at a Taco Cabana since the days of the Two Pesos / Taco Cabana deal (maybe 20plus years ago). Somehow, I just stopped going and never went back, until today. The service was quietly friendly. In my book this is a plus since I don't go for fast food with an order of "new friend" on the side. Pleasant enough, asked the appropriate questions, offered options, delivered my order as requested in a timely manner- good work! I ordered the Cabana Sampler plate and a happy hour Margarita to try a few of their items. Beans Rice Guacamole Cheese enchilada with a meaty sauce on top Taco Chicken flauta 2 warm steamed thick tortillas A real frozen tequila lime ( or guava) margarita with triple sec with either sugar or salt rim options. Beans and rice are pretty standard. Skipped the tablespoon full of guacamole due to allergy. The red colored cheese enchilada tasted ok, but I've never seen a thinner one. The meat sauce was greasy. I'm expecting after effects from the enchilada sauce. I am pleased to report that none of the items had virtually any pepper heat or any obvious onions, which have become an issue for me due to tummy trouble. The chicken flauta was crispy and ok. I'm not a fan of flautas, so your mileage may vary. I've had worse tortillas. Not a fan of the thick spongy, steamed tortillas. For the type, they were ok. I'm from Texas and am familiar with handmade fresh thin flour tortillas and anything else is subpar. The relative high points were the taco and the happy hour margarita. Of the items I ordered today, in future I might reorder the taco, the margarita, the rice and beans, then maybe try something else from the menu. Stay Away !!!!! Just bought a bunch of breakfast tacos and all were a disaster. Bacon was almost raw. Some terrible seasoning was put onto the tacos. All the tortillas disintegrated in our hands. It took forever for them to make the tacos. This is not the place we used to go years ago. It started to go down hill a few months ago, but they have hit rock bottom. My party of three waited over 25 minutes for 2 salads and an order of tacos. Several people who arrived after us received their food long before we did. The food was good and hot, but the wait was less than desirable. I have never had to wait this long for food at Taco Cabana......ever! The restaurant was not busy, so there is simply no explanation for the slow service. The appearance of the restaurant also needs some attention. The trash can in the ladies restroom was overflowing with trash. The drink and condiment area needs to be cleaned. I've been coming to this place a few times now in hopes that they'll improve but they don't. I've been to other Taco Cabana's for their breakfast tacos and never have any issues but this location always messes them up. While I don't have complaints about the employees, the tacos are never well-prepared. I've ordered bacon and egg tacos here and it looks like they've just scoop the eggs up in a ball and wrap the tortilla on it. On Saturday, I ordered bean and cheese tacos and there was absolutely no cheese in them; it was all beans. Went to get a to go at this location on our break time ordered 1lb. Got to work and only had 4 tortillas and the rice container was barely halfway full. Called the store just to ask how many tortillas came in the meal and Tom said 12. I proceeded to explain to him about the issue and he offered to bring me the food all the way to my job. Tom is the district manager for that store. This is one of the best customer service I have ever gotten. Will definitely be coming back to this location now just because of Tom. read more

Arrived at 10:35am this morning, after we called ahead our order. After 30 MINUTES in the drive-thru line, my husband went inside. He asked for our order under the name we gave on the phone, and were told they couldn't find it. Then he stood there ANOTHER 25 minutes while he watched them make the breakfast tacos in SLOW MOTION. Every customer that walked in the door was not greeted. They just wouldn't make eye contact. Meanwhile I'm STILL in the drive-thru THAT HADN'T MOVED! Once you're in that line, you're stuck. We left after 11:40, over an hour later. This is the 3rd time they have taken forever to get us food. We won't be back. Seemed like they don't care at all. read more

Ordered curbside pickup online. Arrived at the store a few minutes after the quoted time. Tried calling the store 5 times and no one ever answered. Went inside the store and stood at the counter another several minutes. Finally let the woman behind the counter know I was picking up an order. She grabs a receipt and says "I'll start making it now". It was supposed to be ready 15 minutes ago. After she is done making my order, she quickly places it in front of me and walks away. No "Thank you", or "Sorry for the wait". I didn't even know if it was my entire order, but I left anyway. When I got home, I would at least expect the food to be hot since it was just made, but it wasn't even warm. It was cold like it had been sitting out. There is no way food is being kept at the proper temperature inside the restaurant. Absolutely horrible experience. Never returning. My biggest regret is not asking for a refund. read more

I asked to give me non alcoholic margarita for my son and they gave me the one with alcohol. Good that I checked. This was a terrible visit even for fast food, sold me a breakfast plate and when i asked for a fork or spoon to eat it with I was told they were out. When i asked how they expected me to eat the food with out any utensils i was told "i guess use you fingers". I was terrible and rude. read more

Ok. So we ordered our food, sat out on the patio (with the baby I might add) and ate. Afterwards, I took the baby to the restroom to wash his hands, and there was someone in the stall so we waited so I could use the restroom as well. This female employee came out, didn't bother washing HER (Victoria) hands and left. Ewwww. As if that's not enough, upon entering the stall, we found the toilet stopped up (see posted pic). So we left the restroom, only to find her cleaning the condiment bar. Yeah, we just ate those condiments... I guess finding something to clean up her mess was going to be left for the morning crew? So, just to make it even more amazing, as I leave the restaurant to go to my car, I find a Roach on the patio (see other posted pic). Lastly, my husband went inside to get a refill before leaving. Because the ice was empty in the lobby, he went to the counter to ask for ice. The man working the front counter completely ignored him. I mean, literally looked up at him, and continued to do whatever he was doing. My husband attempted to call him, however because he had headphones in, his call was ignored. We were here last night at 10pm after a soccer game. Ordered 2 steak tacos and 4 chicken tacos. Waited for 17 minutes at the drive through window. I would have just left, but we were all hungry and tired. 1 girl kept going back and forth to the front apparently grabbing items to make a single taco at a time, while everyone else just walked around drinking soda or or just doing nothing. The drive through girl, never attempted to tell us what the hold up was, she actually just stayed away from the window. I watched 6 chicken tacos be made, 2 had nothing but chicken, no sauce, onions or peppers as I ordered. When the drive through girl finally handed me the bag of food, I asked her, "Are you sure there are steak tacos in there? Because I watched the girl make only chicken."
