Complete garbage restaurant. I don't know anything about the service. But the quality of the product isn't worth 10% of the product you get when you order from them. Despicable pathetic burritos sold for $8 a pop that aren't worth $3. They look like you made them yourself with an extreme budget. Their pictures are nowhere near the reality of what you get for your money. I paid $30 for 3 burritos that looked like free school lunches. Never again.

    The menu.

The beef is frighteningly bad. The chicken, however indifferent and generic and flavorless, is an order of magnitude better than the beef. And when it's past 8:30pm, most of the restaurants in town are, if not closed, at least no longer taking new orders, it's all fast food. If you want some "local" fast food, this is your only choice. They at least had only half the wait of the national chains in the area. So suck it up and enjoy!

Order was messed up, hard tacos were super spicy, potato oles were way over salted. asked for no sour cream and was loaded with sour cream.

We got the numbers 1 & 2 and it was good food for the price. I have always enjoyed this place and the update to the building is nice.

This was a decent place for I grab a quick Mexican meal. The food was good just needs more flavoring/ spiciness and they'll be great.

One Yelper once described their Potato Ole's as "crack." And they are just that!

The food is beautifully presented and I appreciate their mocktail options. I had the fish special of the day, which happened to be seared halibut served with their achiote rice and onion & bell peppers. The halibut was seared beautifully but imo, cooked just 1 minute too long. The achiote rice could use a touch more seasoning but otherwise the food was delicious and the service was so warm and welcoming.

The staff was nice and they were only seating the bar half of the restaurant. The menu is quite small with a huge tequila selection and some other cocktails. The pricing is pretty high and the food is definitely southwestern not true Mexican, which you can tell from the photos. We had the chips and salsa. The chips were definitely homemade and thick. The chips were delicious alone but I came with a green and red sauce. The green sauce was good, the red was okay and both were mild. For dinner I had the carne asada tacos and my dad had the pollo tacos. Each taco plate comes with 4 and you cannot mix and match. The carne asada was delicious. You could tell the meat was high quality and seasoned well. The tortillas were corn, but thick and delicious. I do not usually like corn but these were phenomenal. The pollo was okay, I wasn't a huge fan of the seasoning on the chicken but I do like that the portion of the meat was substantial. To drink I got their pineapple drink with vodka instead of tequila. It was good but small and almost $20

They didn't offer my dog any water, but that was fine since I had my own bowl for him. You're looking to spend minimum $15 an entree. Pretty expensive for mediocre food. I ordered the prawns and steak, but the prawns were medium sized. The steak was overcooked but still edible. The tortillas taste like grocery store quality and not homemade. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp and crab chimichanga. They stuffed the chimichanga with mini baby shrimp and maybe a couple of shreds of crab meat. The server was nice, but he made several mistakes. While putting down our plates, he almost knocked over my cup of ice onto my dog, he spilled salsa onto my boyfriend's foot, and we found a strand of hair tangled in the food and he told us that the cook is bald. I'm grateful they were open when I was super hungry and they are dog friendly, but the service and food sucks.

I ordered Carne Asada plate, and it came with ships, salad and tortillas. It was very yummy and huge for the price you pay. I enjoyed every single bite of my meal. The service was okay, and the kid who was serving was cool. I would definitely come back here.

I was surprised to find their pricing was so reasonable and from such an accomplished Chef and team. They have been so easy to work wit hand so much fun to plan with for our wedding. THEN, my rehearsal dinner location that has been putting me off for months about getting reservation details beyond "sure we can do that" comes back with "That will be $4k room reservation since its on one of our busy days, looking forward to working with you" 3 weeks before the wedding. In a panic I reached out to see if there was any way S&M would be willing to squeeze in some additional catering for me that weekend and all I heard was "don't worry! we got you!" at a fraction of the price of my previous intended location, on short notice and with a smile. Chef Star and her team have already gone above and beyond and we haven't even gotten to the good stuff yet. We are so looking forward to actually getting to taste the food (Which I've heard is incredible), but even if it was just mediocre, they will still get a 5 star review. I'll be back with pictures after the event, but just know, you're getting more than a caterer if you hire Chef Ironside, you're getting a partner in your event. someone who is as invested in its success as you are. Don't hesitate.

Husband and I split the 3 meat plate (although we were tempted by the special-beef ribs on mashed potatoes). We had brisket (good and my favorite), pork ribs (fall off the bone good and tasty), pork belly (hubby said it was good since it isn't my thing). For our sides we had collard greens (we fought over those they were so good), bacon Mac (creamy and smokey), and corn bread (so glad we each had our own serving of that or there would have been bloodshed). That cornbread was the best I have had at a restaurant in ages. Staff were on it. They were personable and friendly. Kitchen staff--wow. It was awesome to watch the magic and teamwork happening in the very small wizard's workshop. Thank you for the great night and the leftovers.

It almost feels like you're in a mineshaft or an antique store, which I thought was awesome. We are immediately greeted with a very friendly smile and told there were seats at the bar (the restaurant was packed, another good sign). A few minutes go by and we're still standing at the check-in, and another couple comes in. They are greeted in the same way, offered seats at the bar, and are thusly ushered to their seats... while we were still standing there. Okay, few more minutes go by and we call out the table that was just cleaned, and we get seated. The menu looks phenomenal, and we ended up getting the meat combo to try everything. This is where it gets even worse. The barbecue itself took a while to get to our table, which would be fine if it wasn't cold. Yes, you heard correctly, the barbecue was all cold. Baked beans had to have been Bush's. Potato salad and Mac was good, same with the cornbread. But the main things we paid $60 for were cold. The ribs were beyond burnt, and the brisket was tough. Oh, and the single sausage we got was slathered in mustard and barbecue sauce, come to think of it everything on the plate was slathered in barbecue sauce. Usually not a good sign lol. I really wish I could say nicer things about this place but I unfortunately cannot recommend it to anyone. But hey, they're packed so maybe that's just the quality of the food around Kalispell.
