The service was patient and friendly while my lady asked 100 taco based questions. The shop only seats about 60 people, but the time we went was quiet so the food came out quickly. It's been a while since I've reviewed this spot. And to celebrate Latinx Heritage Month, I decided to pay them a visit today for lunch! This place is easy to find. Right off eastern and same shopping center as Born and Raised and Chili's and Mcdonalds. I came in for a late lunch around 2pm. The inside in here is so cute. Definitely very festive inside and plenty of seating. There is no outdoor seating though from what I saw. I was the only person in there and was treated almost instantly as I walked in. The gentleman that helped me was really nice. After perusing the menu, I ordered the three taco combo, which comes with rice and beans. I got two shrimp and one pollo. I ended up taking it to go and didn't get home for almost 45 minutes after I left and my food was STILL warm! That is sooo impressive and makes me want to come back here even more. Visiting family over the weekend and found this GREAT PLACE to grab some delicious food. I got a ham & egg burrito (because I love breakfast anytime) and it had very generous portions and the ham was from a ham steak. My wife got tacos and said they were very good. Taco's took about 30 minutes, which is normal for anywhere on a Friday night. Heres what we ordered: 3 Taco combo with rice and beans for $6.99, which comes with your choice of either carne asada, pollo asado, carnitas, adobada, birria, fish or nopal tacos. (These tacos are the smaller street taco size) Quesataco $3.29 grilled cheese, carne asada, avocado slices and chipotle crema Birria Taco $3.29 cilantro and onion (does not come with consomme) Fish taco $2.99 Rolled tacos $5.99 with creamy guac, lettuce, cheese and salsa fresca All the tacos were delicious. Tons of proteins and toppings. Was disappointed that the birria tacos do not have the obligatory consomme with it. It's not offered at all. The rolled tacos were the stand out tonight as they tasted fresh and house made. I honestly don't want to make this review. We've been going to this place for the past few years a few times a month. The burritos are good, but we just had the weirdest experience there. We ordered our meals to go like usual, and when we got home, our burrito smelled so strongly of marijuana. We never smoke, and nothing else smelled like weed--just the burrito. They did offer to give us another burrito, but they kept arguing that we were smelling the pico de gallo with cilantro. I've never smelled any pico that smells like marijuana, and I love to cook so I use cilantro all the time and know what it smells like. It felt like such a weird hill to die on, and it ruined the restaurant for us. read more

I have had this place bookmarked and finally decided to try it. First off the customer service is great! Very friendly! There were three of us and we all ordered different items. Street tacos, breakfast burrito and a Monster Burrito. The Monster Burrito lives up to its name. It's large!! We brought home half of that. The breakfast burrito was pretty good. I would have preferred breakfast potatoes/hash browns over fries in it. It also needed some kind of salsa because it was dry. We did order guacamole nachos and those were pretty good. This was on my bookmarks and I am already planning on coming back. I asked for any recommendations and she said the Smack Down Burrito and any birria items. I definitely ordered the Smack Down because of the surf and turf, I love anything that has both steak and shrimp together and this was definitely a must-try item for sure!!!! I also ordered the birria fries. Definitely delicious and I love birria, but I probably wouldn't get the fries with it because all the juice was making the fries soggy and I probably should've ordered maybe the quesadilla or taco instead. But the item itself was yummy, but probably should've ordered a different kind of meat for it. I definitely want to try all their tacos next time for sure. They also had a nice salsa bar which you can serve yourself which is always better to do and they had some marinated cucumbers too which is different. I would give this establishment 5 stars because I absolutely love the food here. But I'm only giving 4 stars. My go to is the Smack Down burrito and the cheese quesadilla. The burritos are really big and the food is fresh. The customer service is always awesome. The only thing that I would change is the tacky sign that they have posted on their salsa bar that says "Only 2 salsa sides per item" like who rashions salsa? And that is why I only gave the 4 stars. There food is not on the cheaper side. It's almost 14.00 for a burrito which use to be 10.99 when they first opened and is why they shouldn't be tight with there Salsa Lol. But I pay it because I really love the food here. Hoping they will open up another location on the east side as they have 2 locations in Henderson. read more

Taco Man Grill lives up to its name! We found this restaurant through our wonderful YELP APP as we were looking for a good taco spot. The restaurant is easily located on Eastern. Loved the decor and vibe, it is a nice open space with lots of decor highlighting its name. You can even purchase merchandise ( caps, t-shirts and so forth). Menu selection was pretty large and it was a little hard to decide on what to get because I wanted to try everything! Eventually i decided to go with the Taco Special and bought a candied apple coated in Tajin! . Also note, they have a good selection of beverages including bottled soft drinks and beer. There was also a self server salsa bar with a nice selection of sauces and pickled jalapenos and carrots. Another large plus that I noticed was the the tortillas are made fresh in front of you ! Food was amazing! There was also Peso Pluma playing on the background making the meal even more memorable. What a great way to enhance the experience! I was also pleasantly surprised that someone came by to check on our meal and make sure that everything was good. I loved how they showcased their hospitality! Being from San Diego, I am very picky about my Mexican food especially California Burritos. This place is by far the best California burrito I've had in Las Vegas so far. Great meat to fry ratio, awesome guac, and was full after the whole thing, well worth $11. The staff was very friendly while I was trying to make my mind up about what I wanted. I called over on my break and placed an order for pickup. They have a great special for 3 small tacos, rice and bean for like $7. I have tried the carne asada and adobada and both are good. I think I lean more towards the asada here but I would absolutely eat both. The rice and beans are decent too. The meal is just enough to make me overly full. The only thing that sucks from my experiences is the wait. They seem to be under staffed or overly busy. Some times you gotta wait for good tacos tho. While writing this review I was hungry and thinking about placing an order and tried the number but it kept ringing busy, I'm not sure if they were on the line or their phone was down.. The food is made to order. I came here for lunch today and they were really busy but managed to get my food ready within 15 mins or so ;-) awesome!!! The food was beyond amazing i highly recommend the asada, shrimp and grilled fish burritos! The salsas are soooo good the best ive ever had and same for the chips they give you a large bag for $1 I use to go to Rubios but after eating here this place is so delicious and authentic it beats it all! I found this place from foodie Keith Lee & wanted to try it out. It's a super busy location and the orders don't stop online, in person & via food apps. I ordered 5 tacos, and I think that was a perfect amount based on their size. I got 1 Birria, 1 Pollo, 1 Carne Asada, 1 Shrimp and 1 Adobada taco. This is one place that I've visited that I can say I enjoyed each type of taco equally. Everything had great flavor, tortillas were packed with meat (and shrimp). The guacamole that was on the carne asada and pollo asado tacos was fresh and chunky and not just an avocado cream like some places serve. The shrimp taco had grilled onions and peppers and a tasty white sauce. I tried the habanero and diablos salsas, and both had just enough heat and flavor. I visited at lunch time and got in just before the lunch rush. We were able to get a table and even when people were waiting for their to go orders the restaurant didn't feel too crowded. Do you know what the best thing about Lent is? (Besides the benefits of blessings, and sacrifices for Our Lord, and such). It's the DAYS of Dispensations! Happy to finally get a taste of real food, I stopped myself when ordering (Meat Angel On My shoulder: Just get the left side of the menu! Good Angel that looks like my wife: You better NOT get the left or right side of the menu!) So I only got a few things:( First, the Carne Asada Nachos. Because Science, people. All I can say is WOW! Finally, another taco place I can enjoy eating at. I have only found one place here in Vegas that makes authentic tacos which is off Russell and Whitney ranch. But the reviews were right about this place! The parking is small, very limited space. Maybe a few tables and couple bar stool sitting areas. Very busy on taco Tuesday!! I didn't wait long for take out but prepare for no parking or sitting. I got the shrimp and carne asada taco. Both were delicious had a lot of flavor. And a side a rice, not dry or too mushy it was perfect. I hate eating rice at Mexican restaurants here so I am picky, same with tacos. It's $1.50 tacos and $2.00 carne asada tacos. I ordered the vegetarian burrito & chips & guac for takeout. Upon opening the bag, I was surprised that there was no salsa to be found. (What Mexican restaurant sends a takeout order without salsa?) As for the items I ordered: Vegetarian burrito - I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh all the ingredients were. The tortilla was soft and the lettuce had a nice crunch to it. The tomatoes in the pico were firm & not mushy or soggy. The burrito was not huge, but just enough that I felt full after eating it. Chips & guac - Honestly, this was a huge disappointment. For $10.99, I expected to receive a bag of chips with a pretty decent size serving of guacamole on the side. Instead what I got was a box full of mostly plain chips with some shredded cheese sprinkled on top, and a tiny amount of guacamole spread across a few of the chips (perhaps in an effort to make it look like more than it actually was). The chips were fresh & the guacamole was good, but the price was outrageous & calling it "chips & guac" felt like false advertising. I would not order that particular item again. Overall, I'd categorize this place as being more along the lines of Chipotle than say, Roberto's (or really any authentic Mexican restaurant). But you know what? Chipotle is good if you set your expectations accordingly, and so is this place. read more

Taco Man Grill has a big fun menu with lots of different options. The service at first didn't seem to friendly, but after being there a while, maybe I was just reading into her too much. She was actually very nice. The restaurant was kept very clean. My husband ordered the birria fries, I got the carnitas plate, and we ordered a cheese quesadilla for our son. My husband wasn't a big fan of the birria fries. The fries didn't taste salted or seasoned whatsoever, and the birria tasted a little strange and was a weird consistency. It was like shredded meat but also mushy. I personally loved the carnitas plate, it was a good portion of food and very filling and flavorful. We eventually all shared some of the quesadilla and it was great. I was shocked that limes weren't offered in their topping bar. But they do have Tajín cucumbers which my son surprisingly loved.
