My first time here and I enjoyed it. I got the two-taco plate and trust me, it's MORE than enough. Definitely plenty of food. It comes with black beans and lime rice or some shit like that. The choice of meat I got was picadillo and I'm so glad I chose that for my tacos. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the price was not ridiculous. Sure, it may be a smidge pricey, but they have DELICIOUS chips and salsa. They even have horchata so that made me dig this place even more. Satisfied customer right here. Will come again fo sho. my first experience was ok in that i just ordered some fajita tacos . they were good but nothing to get excited about but better than fuzzys . then i tried the beer battered fish tacos with jicama slaw and remind me of my fish tacos in cancun which rock. they got tortas (spanish for taco? i thought taco was taco in espanol?) they got jalapeño aioli sauce too....update.. i have searched LONG and hard in dfw for better fish tacos..... after dozen or so similar like restaurants no one is close to theirs. read more

Okay, if you eat meat, you will love this place, you can stop reading. If you are a vegetarian or vegan, mmmmmm, not the best place for you to enjoy a meal. Why? As in most restaurants, they belief is to put potatoes and any type of carb to replace the protein, they will also offer you cheese! Yup too much effort to ask if the cheese is really vegetarian or not. Their vegetarian options are dull and will not have much protein, so while your meat eating friends will have a blast you will just be staring at the window. read more

I ordered through Foodsby which is the outfit I use to order lunch delivery to my office. I found a long black hair in my taco, not a good first experience with this place. Foodsby stands by their service so I was refunded, however, hair in your food is the extreme deal breaker for me. So this place was okay. Ordered chips and salsa, which were good but nothing out of the ordinary. Also ordered the following tacos fajita beef, Latin love, beef Colorado, chicken elite and chicken fajita. The tacos were just okay, I expected them to be more flavorful then what they were. The meat was fairly dry as well. They were decent sized but overall lacking in the flavor department. The staff were friendly. We went in around 6 on a Saturday and the place was pretty much empty. Went there first time tonight with my siblings. I had the two taco plate with chicken fajita taco and shrimp taco. They came with cilantro rice and black beans refried. I had the pineapple cream soda as well. My sister had the spinach black bean quesadilla. My brother had the beef fajita quesadilla. We all enjoyed our food and will hopefully go back. I've eaten here twice several weeks apart and it was very good both times. The very sweet young lady that usually is taking the order is helpful and friendly. She even recommended a secret menu plate if you want one taco, and one tostada. The food is good, and fresh. The salsa and queso is yummy. Sure I wish the serving was bigger but it's probably good for my waistline that they come in small bowls. Wow! I expected the food to be great as several have said on the reviews. The chicken tacos were just absolutely horrible, the chicken is of low grade quality as my wife had to cut off the bad parts of the chicken. The beef taco was good, however the tostada was not good. I was also disappointed in the black bean spinach quesadilla, too much cheese as it made them too soggy. It took us 25 min as we waited for our food to go. The chips & salsa was ok. Black beans & rice had very little taste. The service was ok, but when i asked for extra salsa and guacamole in place of sour cream, I then looked at my receipt and saw where Ashly charged me for several of the items without telling me there was going to be an extra charge. Unfortunately, this is NOT a 4-star restaurant, I would strongly recommend Twisted Tortilla or Taco Cabana instead. I will personally stick to Tuppy's. I'm sorry for having to write such a negative review as I always try to support our locally owned restaurants in the immediate area. My wife and I usually eat out at least two to tree times a week, so we always dine and support many of the best restaurants located in Frisco. I had the fish taco and Pura Vida taco and both were really good but Pura Vida was slightly sweeter in taste than I was expecting. Wife had Yucatán tostada and really enjoyed it.
