In short My favorite fast food. Consistently done as well as you can do this stuff, and has quite a bit more flavor than most fast food. Prices have always been a little higher at TT but the value is there, even as everything everywhere keeps getting more expensive. In long This location has been in range for me for almost 20 years, and since we moved 8 years ago, it's barely a mile away. Been here dozens of times in 2 decades...and have still never gone inside. The Bev Park--Speedway intersection is a pain, especially turning in here from Bev Park. But it's worth it, even if you have to wait 3 times to turn before you get to the drive-through. Maybe it's because they landscaped it pretty heavily and you can forget about traffic for a second...lol. There's only so much you can say about TT that isn't already known to most of us. Burritos, soft tacos, taco salads, tater tots with a little bit of salt and pepper ("Mexi Fries"!). They will change almost anything on any menu item, even practically customize a whole taco salad with minimal carbs. That taco salad is good, btw. The summer before my senior year at the U, a buddy of mine and I worked together, got lunch together every day. I hate to admit how long ago I was in college, but we would laugh about how much it would cost if we went to TT and ordered enough to get completely full. Our jobs included riding mountain bikes all day, so we were always hungry at lunch. One day we found a $20 on the ground, took it to TT, and even in the 90s, we still needed another $8 or so to get full. These days, a combo meal is usually cheaper than burger fast food--typically in the $12-$14 range. Given that everything they make has recognizable flavors of meat and veg, with minimal chemically-processed overtones, this feels like an awesome value now. I won't try to change anyone's mind about how good this place is compared to other fast food, let alone real food. People make up their minds about their favorite fast foods pretty early in life. Food is good but the people working are unprofessional. One time I went in for an order ahead pick up and the food was wrong. When I told them he literally rolled his eyes then walked back with my bag before returning with my correct order. Then today, I picked up at the drive thru and overheard someone say "I don't have to worry about sh**" and someone else say "she blocked his a**". Was awkward to say the least. read more

This place is my new favorite Taco Time. The management has changed and definitely has made a difference. I wish people would understand that everybody deserves a second chance. Yes, this place used to be awful, specially during the pandemic. The customer service and the food quality went down greatly. I live so close to it and I decided to give it another try. I've been here three times in the past few months and I've realized that the service and the food quality has improved greatly! Please, give it a try and slow yourself to have a new experience. I'm saying this because I was so skeptical and when I tried it, it was the right choice. The place looks and smells clean. The bathrooms were clean as well. I hate to give taco time a bad review because I've never been to a taco time that I just absolutely left disgusted but since it's been a reoccurring issue I'm leaving 1 star. It took 10 mins today to get my food thru the drive thru My visit before it took 30 mins from going inside to get ONE crisp burrito. My time was up and when I asked for a refund she said she couldn't give me one and the guy in the back told me to call later about it. SERIOUSLY???? I love taco time but not so much that I want to give them free money and be treated rudely. It's not your patrons fault that you are understaffed, undertrained, and hate your job. I've eaten here 20+ times, I always use the drive-thru so I can't comment on inside, but I've always had a great experience. The people who work there have always been really nice and their food is 10x better than Taco Bell. read more

Shocked to see poor quality food at sit down restaurant pricing. $22 dollars for a #11 and 1 taco!? Take a look at the picture, when I got home I was disgusted, dried out tortilla cracking and pieces flaking off of it with what looks like a thumb jammed into the side of it. I go here all the time. They were not busy tonight but the cashier at the window (Stephen according to the receipt) acted as if it was a big imposition I placed an order. He never asked if I wanted hot sauce so when I did I got a heavy sigh as he slammed my bag down on the counter to turn around and grab it. I got home and my order is incomplete. Mexi Platter missing a taco. I just tried to call the number on the receipt and it rang and rang and rang. No answer. I don't know what's going on there recently but they could do with a manager who knows how to create a team spirit and teach customer service. read more

We love taco time. But at this location I have had bad luck. One time they had no bags for your food at reg drive through. Then on 11-04-21 we stoped by and the food was so salty my wife and I couldn't eat the food. For some reason this location has issues. It's to bad but we won't be eating at this Toco Time. Well tonight I decided to stop thru the drive through and wow what a disappointment . They were out of mexi fries, salad dressing, all kinds of stuff. We came through the drive thru on December 10th with our new kitten. The employee at the window told us to name our kitten Hot Sauce. We named him Captain Hot Sauce, so 5 stars. Also, the food is delicious, and reasonably priced! We love our local Taco Time! 10/10 would recommend. read more

How can a restaurant not serve you hot food? Ordered 3 items in advance for pick up at the restaurant, they were ready at the specified pick up time but when I got home 5 minutes later none of the items were hot and one was cold as if it had been in the refrigerator and not freshly prepared. How a restaurant at any time and especially now when their full business is based on pick up/take out could serve their customers refrigerated food is beyond me. The ingredients were not bad but items being cold instead of hot was not acceptable. One update to my above review. Taco time usually is one of the better fast food establishments to frequent. That is not the case with this location. By the time I get home my food is already ice cold, and my stomach is always very unhappy when I'm done eating. My husband and I eat here about 2x a month. Today's visit was off. My tacos were made incorrectly. The cashier seems highly irritated that we said something. The guac (chips and guac) was dark green and obviously old. Since we'd already complained about the tacos, I didn't say anything. The customer service and food were both bad today. read more

When you first walk in it looks nice and clean but when I went to sit down the tables were very dirty. Food was good but not impressed with the tots. They were soft and unable to even dip them in sauce without them breaking and then I had to did the broken piece out. Very soft... Food is tasty... to a degree. Employee at the register, Ick. She wears the most disgusting-est, greasy uniform that is in your face BAM-style. Handles the cash AND touches your straw (yes where your mouth goes) without washing her hands. I cringed when I saw this unfold before my eyes. Thanks for turning things around... the management has added friendly staff and it's now my favorite Taco Time. remember, back in the day when you could stop into any Taco Time and get good service and good food. At this particular Taco Time you don't get either. The service both times I have been there is completely lacking. Both times I got a soft taco and the first was a natural. I found a thin layer of meat but mostly crammed full of lettuce. Expensive but this particular Taco Time I will never visit again. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to giving them my lunch money! Argh!!! I received a response from Taco Time wanting me to fill out a form of suggestion. I simply replied. Are you kidding me? Customer service is huge to the majority of businesses. I should not have to order good customer service, it should come with my meal. I've been here a few times recently after not having been in quite a few months, and service is extremely bad in a way that it never was before. When you're having your order taken it does not sound like the worker is really listening, wait times in line are incredibly long, and when you get to the payment window, it still takes forever to get your food--while you listen to the crew "working" just mess around for 5+ minutes before ever getting you food. And then the food is subpar--there's no reason for me to be given tater tots that have no structural integrity or crispness, as pictured. This place needs help; when I want to go to Taco Time from now on, I'll go to another location. read more

If I could give negative starts I would. Way too long to wait in drive thru. Kid on the mic sounded like he was high or just highly uneducated, and he figured out not one, not two, but five ways to screw up our order. We asked for no tomatoes, we got them, we asked for ranch, we got none, we bought two meals, got only one mexifry, and I asked for a large drink but we got two mediums. Also, when we got to the window the kid said there ya go, and we had to ask for our drinks that had yet to be poured, abd he asked us what we wanted again because the 2 minutes was too long to remember two sprites!!! Went there last night 9pm, no customers, container with cover was filled inside with bugs, soda machine was disgusting, just imagine if it looks like that on the outside, what does it look like in the kitchen. The wait time really needs to be addressed at this location. You will never be in the drive through for less than 10-15 minutes, even if you're the only person in line. Hire more people or find a way to make your process more efficient. read more
