Love, love, love this place! Their menu is allergen labeled, and if you have any questions their online allergen menu has everything listed super clearly!! Our food was delicious and service was fast!! Lots of gluten free and dairy free offerings!! We got the rice bowl, the Mexico City chicken taco on corn tortilla, the spacecity taco (w no queso fresca) on corn tortilla, rice and beans (which was fire), and dairy free almond horchata!!! They have dairy free horchata and it tastes like a honey bun!! It's so yummy and not overly sweet!! The aesthetic of the place is super cool too! Not crazy expensive either. Money hungry. Been coming here for years, why do the $5 tacos get smaller and smaller, came in today to grab a couple from the "To-Go" area at the front. The tacos were the size of my thumb. Tiny. $4-5. Stop ripping your local ppl off we can go get bigger tacos for $3 from the taco stands. I walked right out. Don't fall for this place it's essentially a rip off now!!!! read more

BARRY, the mgr, IS the current PROBLEM: I am an educator and a frequent "flyer" of Tacodeli for 5+ years. When I came on March 25, 2026 at 11:57 am, I vehemently requested "no onions.". My order was confirmed by the station number 7726534 with the clerk. When I checked my order, I not only found onions, but I picked up the onions and showed them to the clerk. Since I showed that person (clerk) who told me that "there would not be onions on the to- go order," I'm not upset with the cashier. I'm hurt, and I am infuriated because, I firmly requested, no onions. As an industry/education supporter, why wouldn't you get the order correct? When I asked for a mgr, I was met with Barry. Since I reqestered the mgr, Barry, I had to share my concerns as a patron. I was unfamiliar with the sharp tongue and cold response to patron. I asked for clarity b/c teachers deserve to get the order correct. People make mistakes and if ANYONE understands, the teachers that had onions added to their orders do. When I returned a few days later, the manager, Barry, told me that, " Don't come back because I wasn't welcomed." I asked why. I asked what did I do to make this happen when all I wanted was to get what we paid for and to move forward. Final Q: Barry, how can you ever lead a space, organization, or location if you don't listen to the patrons who work, live, and frequent the zip code? To Tacodeli, if you know what's best, get rid of Barry. read more

I went 5 years ago but it was at an old location when I worked in Dallas. I was obsessed with the bean and cheese burrito. Great service, excellent tacos, and numerous vegan/vegetarian options! I can't believe I've lived in Texas so many years without hearing about Tacodeli. As a vegetarian it's sometimes challenging to find taco restaurants that have more than one or two vegan/vegetarian options. My husband had been raving about this place for a while now and we finally got the opportunity to eat lunch here together. The inside of the restaurant is pretty spacious with tables spread out just enough to feel comfortable and not bump into others. They also had outdoor seating but it was literally 100 degrees outside so we opted to sit indoors. We were lucky we arrived at 11:30 because we were able to walk up and order right away but by 12 there was a crazy long line! We only waited about 10 mins before our food came out, so that was awesome. I ordered the Blue Plate with a Puerco Verde taco (my husband's recommendation), the Sabrosita Barbacoa taco and Mexican rice and refried beans as the sides. Well, the husband was right... The pork taco was AMAZING. I will come back several times for that alone! Just happened upon this place today when in the area. I ordered a breakfast taco online for pickup & it was ready in 10 minutes. When I got there it was waiting for me at the grab & go. I got the Otto which had beans, bacon & avocado. It was delicious! The medium salsa was also great & a perfect spice level for me. My best friend has been raving about Tacodeli for ages. She finally got me to tag along on a recent trip into Dallas. We stopped in on a Monday around lunchtime. Even near the beginning of the week, their taco game was going strong and the place was packed. I ordered the taco special of the day and the fish taco. We split the sirloin and were underwhelmed. For a grilled meats place the steak was very under seasoned and wasn't giving us fresh hot grilled vibes. Meh at best, as were the rice and beans. We ordered elote as a side and it was really the best thing we ate. Service was friendly and efficient! Cocktails average $16ish. Again, for the prices we expected better.

Clearly hand rolled, stuffed, flavorful, and delicious. I also got a side puffy taco, and it was awesome. We really enjoyed our dinner at Uno Mas. We will be back.

I had casually mentioned that one of my cocktails wasn't quite my taste, and Harry personally reached out afterward to say they'd gladly adjust it next time. That kind of thoughtful follow-up leaves a lasting impression and is exactly the sort of hospitality that elevates a restaurant experience. Unfortunately, this recent visit felt like a completely different restaurant. We decided to do a combination of à la carte dishes along with the Experience menu after being told this version would feature entirely off-menu items, which genuinely intrigued us since Ihad also done the Experience previously. At the start of dinner, we were asked about allergies and dietary restrictions. I clearly explained that I have a mango allergy and do not eat beef. Our server then asked whether I ate other meats, and I clarified yes -- and even specifically mentioned that if the machete dish was beef, please still include it because my friend could enjoy it and I really wanted her to try it. He confirmed it would be the sirloin version, so we happily agreed not to modify that course. So imagine our surprise when one of the first dishes arrived dressed with a mango vinaigrette. Thankfully, we barely caught him quietly mentioning "mango" as he set it down. We immediately looked at each other thinking, "Didn't we just discuss the allergy?" It was disappointing, but unfortunately also representative of the overall service throughout the evening. Our server seemed disengaged, inattentive, and often not fully listening. Empty glasses sat untouched, opportunities to order additional items were missed, and at one point we were simply handed the check without even being asked if we wanted anything else. We also ordered a bottle of sparkling wine and ended up pouring it ourselves for most of the evening because our glasses were rarely refilled. I completely understand not leaving the bottle tableside if walkway space is limited, but repeatedly needing to get up ourselves to retrieve it felt out of sync with the level of service one expects from a Michelin-recommended restaurant -- especially at this price point. Then came the machete dish. Instead of the sirloin version we specifically discussed, we received the vegetarian potato version. When the server asked how it looked, I politely explained that we were disappointed because he had specifically told us it would be the sirloin preparation. At minimum, I would have expected another protein substitution given the earlier conversation about what I could eat. I'm also still unclear whether the Experience menu was truly "off-menu" as described, since several dishes -- including the halibut -- appeared familiar. Had that been communicated differently, we likely would have skipped the Experience altogether and simply curated our own meal. At the end of the night, spending over $500 while pouring our own wine, nearly being served an allergen we explicitly disclosed, and receiving dishes different from what was promised made for a deeply disappointing experience -- especially after such a phenomenal first visit. It honestly felt sad more than anything because I know how wonderful this restaurant can be. I'm not sure what changed in the last five months, but the difference was significant.
