The food here is good! Love the steak salad with the jalapeño ranch. That alone needs to be bottled up and sold! Also, I love the queso. I get the queso with the meat. It's really good. I've always picked up my food and never dined in. But everyone is always so nice and cheerful at the counter. 10/10 for me.

Our food was delicious and service was fast!! Lots of gluten free and dairy free offerings!! We got the rice bowl, the Mexico City chicken taco on corn tortilla, the spacecity taco (w no queso fresca) on corn tortilla, rice and beans (which was fire), and dairy free almond horchata!!! They have dairy free horchata and it tastes like a honey bun!! It's so yummy and not overly sweet!! The aesthetic of the place is super cool too! Not crazy expensive either. We can't wait to come back! The area it's in is cute and walkable and has a lot of other restaurants and shops to look through!

Money hungry. Been coming here for years, why do the $5 tacos get smaller and smaller, came in today to grab a couple from the "To-Go" area at the front. The tacos were the size of my thumb. Tiny. $4-5. Stop ripping your local ppl off we can go get bigger tacos for $3 from the taco stands. I walked right out. Don't fall for this place it's essentially a rip off now!!!! read more

Who is preparing the Esquites aka Mexican Street Corn on 6/10/26? WTH? What, just dump some grilled corn in a bowl with a little garlic powder and sprinkle it with a 1/4 teaspoon of cotija? Terrible. BARRY, the mgr, IS the current PROBLEM: I am an educator and a frequent "flyer" of Tacodeli for 5+ years. When I came on March 25, 2026 at 11:57 am, I vehemently requested "no onions.". My order was confirmed by the station number 7726534 with the clerk. When I checked my order, I not only found onions, but I picked up the onions and showed them to the clerk. Since I showed that person (clerk) who told me that "there would not be onions on the to- go order," I'm not upset with the cashier. I'm hurt, and I am infuriated because, I firmly requested, no onions. As an industry/education supporter, why wouldn't you get the order correct? When I asked for a mgr, I was met with Barry. Since I reqestered the mgr, Barry, I had to share my concerns as a patron. I was unfamiliar with the sharp tongue and cold response to patron. I asked for clarity b/c teachers deserve to get the order correct. People make mistakes and if ANYONE understands, the teachers that had onions added to their orders do. When I returned a few days later, the manager, Barry, told me that, " Don't come back because I wasn't welcomed." I asked why. I asked what did I do to make this happen when all I wanted was to get what we paid for and to move forward. Final Q: Barry, how can you ever lead a space, organization, or location if you don't listen to the patrons who work, live, and frequent the zip code? To Tacodeli, if you know what's best, get rid of Barry. read more

I went 5 years ago but it was at an old location when I worked in Dallas. I was obsessed with the bean and cheese burrito. It was black beans and cheese mixed perfectly together and a flour tortilla that was very authentic like my mom's. The green salsa was my favorite to dip in. Ahhh! I missed those breakfast tacos. Great service, excellent tacos, and numerous vegan/vegetarian options! I can't believe I've lived in Texas so many years without hearing about Tacodeli. As a vegetarian it's sometimes challenging to find taco restaurants that have more than one or two vegan/vegetarian options. My husband had been raving about this place for a while now and we finally got the opportunity to eat lunch here together. The inside of the restaurant is pretty spacious with tables spread out just enough to feel comfortable and not bump into others. They also had outdoor seating but it was literally 100 degrees outside so we opted to sit indoors. We were lucky we arrived at 11:30 because we were able to walk up and order right away but by 12 there was a crazy long line! We only waited about 10 mins before our food came out, so that was awesome. I ordered the Blue Plate with a Puerco Verde taco (my husband's recommendation), the Sabrosita Barbacoa taco and Mexican rice and refried beans as the sides. Well, the husband was right... The pork taco was AMAZING. I will come back several times for that alone! The Barbacoa taco was quite good too and paired with the rice and beans...well, I ate more than I needed to but it was absolutely worth it. read more

Absolutely trash tacos for $5.75.The esquite was anything far from authentic, corn tasted overcooked and they added bacon bits, which made it very gritty. Can I give 6 stars? TacoDeli is THE best, if not tied for the best, tacos in Texas. The creativity and flavors of TacoDeli tacos are unmatched. Even their salads are incredible- with the Serrano lime vinegarette being my personal favorite. They don't shy away from spicy and I could eat their Dońa sauce with a spoon. Just happened upon this place today when in the area. I ordered a breakfast taco online for pickup & it was ready in 10 minutes. When I got there it was waiting for me at the grab & go. I got the Otto which had beans, bacon & avocado. It was delicious! The medium salsa was also great & a perfect spice level for me. I'll definitely come back & hope for a Arlington and Fort Worth location in the future! read more

French discipline, Texas spirit, six syllables, no further explanation offered or required, and if you do not immediately understand exactly what that means the moment you walk into The Joule on Main Street then I do not know what to tell you except that the rosemary tallow fries are going to clarify things very quickly. CBD Provisions opened in 2013 as the Joule Hotel's in-house restaurant, became famous for a crispy pig's head carnitas that required you to pull strips of meat off an actual half pig's head at the table and tuck them into tortillas, which is a dish so committed to its own bit that it belongs in a museum, and then closed in July 2025 for a months-long renovation that brought in new culinary director Sezer Deniz. Deniz trained under Chef Jean Paul Naquin at the Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France. He has twenty-plus years in Michelin-starred kitchens including Alinea in Chicago. He is now making breakfast tacos inside a hotel in downtown Dallas and I want to be very clear that this is a promotion. The room has exposed brick and wood floors and steel beams and mosaic tile and antique mirrors and railcar booth seating and a center banquette and stone tabletops, all of which sounds like it should be competing with itself but instead produces the specific feeling of a place that has been here long enough to know what it is. I sat at the bar, which is the correct place to sit, and ordered the short rib corn cake stack, which is braised short rib and avocado and two poached eggs and a poblano hollandaise and which arrives looking like the cover of a cookbook that does not exist but absolutely should. The poblano hollandaise is the detail I keep returning to. Not regular hollandaise. Poblano hollandaise. Someone in that kitchen made a decision to take a classical French sauce with two centuries of culinary tradition behind it and introduce it to a pepper from Puebla, Mexico, and what resulted is something that makes you look at regular hollandaise and think, you had potential, you just never reached it. I ate the entire thing and then contemplated ordering another one and then did not because I am a person with limits, technically. The CBD Provisions burger is a double smash with American cheese and grilled onion and house pickles and something called fancy sauce, which is a name I respect enormously because it is not pretending to be anything other than exactly what it is. It comes with rosemary tallow fries, which are the reason I will order this burger every time I come here for the rest of my life. Rosemary. Tallow. Fries. Three words that in combination produce something that should be legally classified as a controlled substance. French in method, Texan in manner. Boots and a brasserie. The Joule has been on Main Street for years and CBD Provisions has been feeding people inside it for over a decade, new chef and new tile floors notwithstanding, and it has figured out the thing that most hotel restaurants never figure out, which is that the goal is not to remind you that you are eating in a hotel. The goal is to make you forget entirely. I forgot entirely. The tallow fries helped.

The drinks arrived, and the appetizers followed about 10 minutes later -- fine so far. But there were no utensils. We had to ask for them, and we asked for plates as well, which never came. The empty dishes from our appetizers sat in front of us for a solid hour with no one clearing them. The bartender who took our order never once checked on us. With 3-4 people working behind the bar, only one server approached us during the entire 40-minute wait between appetizers and dinner to ask if we needed anything. The bartender told us twice that our food was "coming out shortly" -- and still, 40 minutes passed. When dinner finally arrived, my order was wrong. I ordered the Mongolian Short Rib, listed clearly under the Entree section of the menu. The bartender claimed I had ordered off a "happy hour" menu -- one I never saw or was told about -- and had swapped it for BBQ Pork Ribs without saying a word. Knowing a replacement could take another hour, my friend swapped plates with me and took the ribs. He had ordered the steak frites, which, for a rare steak, should have taken no more than 5-6 minutes to prepare. The third entree, fish and chips, was just okay -- a bit soggy and not particularly fresh. To top it all off, after everything we dealt with, the bartender never asked how our meal was or if we needed anything else. The food has potential, but the service was inattentive, disorganized, and frankly unacceptable for a busy restaurant that should know better.

Tacodeli serves breakfast tacos, lunch tacos, daily lunch specials, chips and dips, sides, salads, and soups. The chicken, pork, rice, beans, eggs, and corn tortillas are organic as well as most of the produce. The hanger steak and ground beef are 100% grass fed, and the drum fish is wild caught. We ordered 4 different tacos all on corn tortillas: Pollo En Mole, El Conquistador, Al Pastor, and Freakin Vegan. My fave was the El Conquistador, the pork was a bit crunchy which meshed perfectly with the large cuts of avocado, so good. My assistant's favorite taco was the Al Pastor. The pork flavor was delish and the red chile adobo sauce had the perfect amount of spice; not overpowering. The corn tortillas were outstanding! read more

tacodeli is the bomb!!! Great mexican food! The chips and salsa are pretty much the make it or break it deal and I must say they where on point. The tacos omg where do I start!!! The tacos are fresh and delicious. I was a big fan of the salmon and scallop tacos. The food here is very consistent. Service is excellent. This is a good place to bring your family to. The best tacos in town. Go on Friday or Saturday and get the ceviche, either as a dip or taco filling. You won't regret it. If you go another day, start with an order of queso and then just get whatever tacos sound good to you at the time, you really can't go wrong, though my personal favorites are the Cowboy and the Portobello Fundito. read more
