I've been here several times and I have now declared it my favorite Taqueria in DFW. The barbacoa is to die for.

I can't say enough good things about this place. It is right around the corner from my job and I have had to practice some major self control to not go here every single day for lunch. I typically get the Barbacoa quesadilla. I have not tried any other meat here yet because the barbacoa is impossible to pass up. Amazing flavor and texture, just absolutely perfect. Staff is always friendly and the place is always packed when I go around lunch time. They also serve breakfast tacos which I have not tried but it's on my list. I pass this place every day on my way to work. And I LOOOOOOVE the name. For months, I kept telling myself to stop and get breakfast tacos. Well today I did. I got 20 breakfast tacos, for my office ($36.00). A variety OOOOOMMMMGGG!!! Everyone LOVED THEM!!! The tortillas were nice and fresh (homemade) and they were stuffed PERFECTLY!!! Soooo good. i've had this place bookmarked for some time now & decided to try 'em out for lunch!! it's not too far from my job so that's a plus!! i walked in & was able to order right away as they weren't busy during lunch time...hmmmmm!! i ordered my tacos to go (lunch special...3 tacos, beans & rice for $5.99) the chicken had a nice flavor to it...i'd just prefer the grilled onions to be on the taco, rather than on the side!!! all in all it wasn't too bad...it just wasn't the best tacos i've ever had!! i'll have to try them for breakfast!! read more

A great breakfast/lunch taqueria kinda tacos for cheap and fast. I had the lunch special for 5.99. It came with 3 tacos, beans, & rice. I got the barbacoa (really good!), carnitas (a little dry but still had good flavor), & al pastor (spiced pork-my favorite anywhere). It was all a bit greasy, which is typical, but still one of the best tacos I've had in a while. The rice was really good and the charro beans were mediocre good as well. The platter also came with onions & cilantro and grilled onions & jalapenos. The place had cute decor, was clean, and had friendly staff. Will definitely be back. read more

I went here the other day and ordered a steak burrito. Everything about it was excellent, and I would definitely recommend it. My colleagues ordered tacos which they also said were outstanding. We had a mixed experience at tacolicious. If you have been to velvet taco or torchies tacos then this is pretty much the same. They have a couple of different options in flavor and ingredient. Ambiance, food quality,taste, service everything is ok. But at the end it's a fast food joint and you don't expect a gala time anyways. read more

Taco-licious it was. During some errand-running at lunch, i decided to make a stop at Tacolicious, a new restaurant i have passed weekly on way to/from work. The interior is new, clean and inviting for a casual bite whether your solo or with companions. There were 5 or 6 taco options, a burrito option, as well as quesadilla optin. I chose 3 tacos, barbacoa and pastor. I also ordered rice and beans. Order came to a little less than $5.50, and was brought out to me 3 or 4 minutes later. Along w above, they have a few fresh salsas to choose from, and also give u some onions ( grilled and not-grilled) and a roasted jalapeno on plate. All the food exceeded my expectations and was as good as ive had in Dallas. Location is less than perfect for lunch time traffic, so I was one of about 8 people dining at noon. It's a shame, as this place deserves some more traffic. Hopefully plenty of business people will soon learn about it. read more

This place is right up the street from my house and I eat there about once a week. Food is really great! Don't let the outside fool you bc you could easily drive past this place and never even see it. I actually usually hate to tell people about this place bc it's a hidden gem haha. The young lady at the cash register is super sweet and always has a smile on and has great hospitality. The fajita and barbocoa tacos are my favorite. The hardest part of eating here is deciding whether to choose refried or charro beans bc they are both awesome! Give this place a shot, it's super clean and nice inside, has great service, it's not too pricy ($9 for 3 tacos, rice, beans, and a tea), and the food is awesome! read more

There today (10/8/12). It's just East of Luna on Royal (on the South side). I ordered the 3 tacos with rice and beans that comes with a soft drink for $6.99. I was very pleased with what I got. I chose pollo (chicken) and Carnitas (pork). The pork was not too greasy, but perfect. The chicken was perfect and not to dry. Generous helpings served in doubled corn tortillas (the texture of which was perfect). To address the traditionalist they have raw white onion and cilantro just waiting to be put on the tacos. Wedge of lime and your choice of red and green chile sauce. Added bonus: This dish also came with a grilled jalapeno and grilled white onions. When added with the raw onion, cilantro, and lime and chile, it was over the top. Actually had some conversation with William (assuming the owner/partner), he really cares about what he serves his customers. He let me try their new charro bean recipe that they're going to add to the menu. All in all, a great experience for a reasonable price. I WILL be back! read more

I work nearby, and I go here for lunch at least once a week. I sometimes get breakfast here as well! I've tried all the items on the menu except for the Tortas. My favorite would be Lengua or steak Burrito. It is definitely more than a pound of food (like they advertise on their menu). All the pricing is really reasonable as well. My new favorite place for breakfast tacos in Dallas!!! I am from San Antonio so I am picky about my breakfast tacos. Since moving here my favorite find before Tacolicious was Rusty Taco, which is far from me and usually packed! This place is such a convenient location and they are FAST and CHEAP for super amazing tacos! Many places in Dallas serve burritos which they call tacos-- but in San Antonio we eat our breakfast tacos on the small size tortilla and the tortilla quality makes all the difference! The tortillas here are legit and you can tell the eggs are real eggs and they aren't over-done. I got a bacon egg & cheese taco, a potato egg & cheese taco, and a side of refried beans for under $5!!! I was shocked. I called it in to-go and it was ready in minutes! The potato egg & cheese taco was my absolute favorite and that's what I will order from now on. I found my new go-to breakfast taco restaurant for days when I don't want to get ready or drive out of the way, I just want a delicious, authentic breakfast taco ASAP! read more

The tacos were okay, but the atmosphere was nice. I ordered the Barbacoa tacos which were too fatty in my opinion. My fiancé got pulled pork and loved them, so maybe I just ordered wrong. I would eat here again, but just as a stop for lunch. read more
