Tried this place out for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the good experience. Service is friendly as they offer samples of their meats. Ordered carne asada and pork two taco combo and both hit the spot. Very tasty meats with good marination. One of the best things about this place is the aguas frescas they offer. It's self serve with refills, and they have a number of delicious flavors. My favorite was the watermelon, as that's something you don't get often. We have eaten at this cypress Taco Masa a few dozen times, we love the French fries, they used to be nice and crunchy with a fluffy center, well today we went and ordered the Asad fries and pork fries, the order came to our table and we were very disappointed to see the fries had changed to the same type of fries as McDonald's. Haven't been here since coming across this place by accident for a soft opening 2nd time having Tacomasa - ordered placed online Festive place to dine inside or outdoor Popular spot for the hotel and located on a business street. Order 2 types of quesadillas: pollo and asada Temperate of food was not piping hot more room Temperature. Tortilla made by hand nice touch but ultimately got soggy with all the ingredients. Meat was a bit tough and dry. Salsa had some nice heat. Cheese was melted but also a solid clump upon eating. Size of the quesadilla seem a bit small for the price point of basically $10 for each. Easy to pick up with ample parking. Probably won't return here anytime soon as a stomach ache occurred or eat in person as suppose to doing a take out order. read more

I ordered 4 tacos de asada, 1 lengua and 1 de tripas. The crunchy tripas and lengua were on point. Delicious. The 4 asada were very good as well. The only issue was that the guacamole was so cold that my tacos turned cold almost instantly. It was a shame I was looking forward to that asada with the meat being grilled over a charcoal grill. I have tasted it before and it was delicious. Not sure if they changed the salsa recipe but it was slightly spicier which I like. It even had a slight Smokey flavor. Tasty. The service was excellent. From the girl at the front register to the young lady who brought us our food they were all so polite and friendly. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for my ice cold tacos. I usually get my 2 taco plate with asada and i tell you the asada i don't know what happened but every bite had chewy hard pieces, had to spit em out. Ambiance seem like a rush of liveliness here, because of the constant flow of people and fast pace the food comes out in(which is great). They sale alcohol here so definitely recommend getting a michelada with your tacos. This place does feel more of a dine and go, not somewhere were you can sit and socialize. I tried the muleta it was good too but honestly the tacos taste is the only thing my mind thinks about. This place without a doubt is AUTHENTIC! Hands down, these are the best tacos around. If you have ever had tacos from Baja California, i.e., Tijuana or Rosarito, this is that style. You no longer have to drive across the border to get the perfect tacos. The meat is cooked over mesquite wood and the tortillas are hand made. Try the cucumber/lime drink, so good! Came back today to have lunch and I must say Taco masa is listening. The rábanos and the limes are cut fresh and juicy. The food was amazing. The chips are not greasy anymore. He was super friendly but so was the rest of the staff. It's noticeable that they love their job and make it a great atmosphere. The food was amazing! The asada is grilled fresh, everyone enjoyed their food. There was a variety of options for drinks and aguas frescas/ lemonades. The service was very good, the person who took our order was very nice. Overall I would say the food was okay. The tacos had a good mix of guac, salsa and meat. The presentation of everything wasn't great. The beans and rice severed with the taco combo came in tiny plastic containers and really made the experience underwhelming. The rice served was hard and cold, and tasted old/stale. The beans were okay, just a bit salty. The only plus was that the tacos had a generous amount of filling. I also did try the horchata, and would say that was way to sweet for my liking, I did water it down with water. Overall the food was okay, it left me wanting something more. To start off, I'm really not a fan of the ordering system/bringing out orders, it seemed unorganized and they brought out the food with no salsa or limes and we asked for salsa. The meal over all was mid. Nothing stuck out as great. I found it odd that the buffalo chicken fries don't have any cheese on them-I could have sworn I saw it on the menu with cheese but we were hungry and they were busy. I did enjoy the elote but definitely not traditional. The lengua surprised me, it was very tender and their green salsa was good. I probably won't be returning but I hope they do figure out the food to table side.
