This rating is for the food and the service. We came last Friday to put a catering order in for the following day. We went over the order with the manager and one of the staff. The following day when we were to be called to verify the order, no call. My husband called and was told everything was in order. Well, when he went to pick it up they acted like they had no record of the order. My husband had to wait while they made the large catered order. Very disappointing to say the least. Well a week later and we gave them another try. This time we went into the restaurant to order and eat. It was around 6pm. The restaurant was not busy. The girl that took our order was not very pleasant. Our food took a while. My quesadilla was not hot, cheese was not melted. I had to send it back. But it took forever. We asked 2 different people about it. It finally came. It was very average. My husband ordered a second order of chips in the meantime. Those also never came. He had to ask 3 times. They came after we were done eating. I write this review in the hopes that management will see the need to improve their training of the staff. The errors we encountered are all preventable. Had this place both at the restaurant and also picked up to go. I really enjoy their mulitas and their side of spicy sauce to dip. I would definitely suggest a mulita over their tacos. Really friggin good! Really clean Everyone is friendly and clean Prep station was clean... Did I say it was clean? Food....I got a burrito. Carne was perfect. Just a tad of crunchy char...really awesome. Cheese was queso instead of shredded which made the whole burrito soft and blended very well. Tortilla was super fresh. I will back again soon. Despite a lot of new Mexican places opening in the area, I will be at this one again because they just nailed it. I think they could up the salsa selections more. My colleague and I have been waiting for months for TacoMasa to open. We checked the website daily hoping the grand opening would some sooner rather than later... We were thrilled once the opening was announced on FaceBook, and made plans to visit during on lunch break. Since its brand new, I don't believe cleanliness or 'newness' should factor in the review. Staff was busy during the lunch rush, but very friendly and seemed eager to make a good impression being a new business. We both ordered the burrito, and a taco. It was hard to get a true taste for the Carne Asada since it was mixed in the burrito. It had a nice smokey flavor, it tasted better than say.. Taqueria de anda... but also wasn't super memorable. Nothing about the burrito had me thinking I'm coming back here on a regular basis. The Adobada tao was okay, and I mean okay. Chips and salsa were great! I would try the nachos, however for some reason that escapes my logic, they don't melt the cheese. Who wants a pile of cold shredded cheese? Are those even nachos. I have to say I did not try the nachos, but based on what I saw being dropped off of tables I wouldn't try them. Finally, price point! a burrito, a taco, a fountain drink, and some chips $24! are you kidding me? I'm sorry it was not a $4 taco! I get it. Everything is more expensive. But the quality, taste, and over vibe does not equal $4 street taco. I could have went over to Taco Surf and spent less money for a better taco, and I wouldn't have to sit in the sun, refill my own drink, or stand and order my food from a service counter. Is the taco gourmet? 110% no. Mr. Taco Nice has equally good tacos at a fraction of the price. I wanted to love TacoMasa! I was hoping to return to work and tell my other colleagues about the new lunch spot they should check out. Sadly, I dont know if TacoMasa is that place. I had the BURRITO ADOBADA (spicy pork), a first time experience for me. The burrito was large, flavorful and a touch on the spicy side. Delicious! Went back today for the same burrito. The restaurant was very busy, the line to order was out the door, and they were fast and efficient despite being very busy. Heard from a friend that this new taco place opened up, so being that it's very close to my h decided to give it a try. Now I'm 100 % Mexican, so this new place was going to be interesting since we don't have a lot of authentic Mexican taco restaurants near us that are good, but we will see. We got there after 9 pm and the place was very clean, the staff was very nice and the ambiance was nice. I had the taco plate for 10 bucks. I got a drink, 2 tacos, with rice and beans. Haven't had such a good steak burrito for a long time. I was only visiting the area and one late night I craved for Mexican food and this store caught my eyes. When I came in, the cashier was patient and guided me through the ordering process. When I got back to the hotel and had my first bite, OMG, it was so good, the meat is tender and flavorful, and salsa was right on point, not too spicy or too plain.
