Been eating here past 3 days in a row and have had 3 different tacos each time (grilled chicken , classic beef, and Korean bbq steak). I have also had the ULTIMATE TRIO of dips menu option (salsa, guacamole, and queso) to go with my chips. I've always been a big fan of Tacos 4 Life. I went to college in Fayetteville, Arkansas and that location was always amazing. The food at this location is always great but the customer service is always horrible. Every time I come, the employees always seem irritated. It makes me sad to say that they are always pretty short...make me feel super rushed to order. Then at the window seem to have a bad attitude. To begin, I ordered 2 carne asada tacos and 2 fish tacos. I was given 2 PORK tacos and 2 fish, but I thought "hey it's fine, I like pork tacos. No big deal." That would of been fine if they were in any way pleasing to eat. Hands down the worst pork tacos I've ever tasted. The fish were even worse! Overcooked, bad smell and terrible taste. Poor service and far too much to pay for mediocre tex-mex food. I love the concept of donating a meal for every meal sold (probably a cost of less than a dime with wholesale purchasing when soy protein and rice are the main staples of the donated "meal"), but that is not an excuse for poor quality, overpriced food and workers who seem like they would rather be anywhere but here. I took my parents here just to try it out,and they loved it. So....since I hadn't tried it I decided I would. It was rainy that day so I went decided to drive through. I ordered a burrito with no guacamole, a mahi-mahi taco with no special sauce, and a beef taco for my mother. I was instructed to pull forward and they'd bring it out. She did and I was so hungry I decided to eat my food. Everything I'd requested not to be on my burrito and taco was plentiful. Ughh....that was incredibly frustrating since I'd waited so long to get it. So I decided to eat.... and everything seemed okay.... besides the guacamole. Then I headed back home, and about 30 miles later I start to feel ill....so sick in fact I vomited 4 times. Not sure what that was about, since that was the first and only thing I'd eaten that day. I dunno if it was cross contamination, or filthy hands that prepared my food. I will not return....I wanted to like this place so bad....but they got so many things wrong for me. Had high expectations but was let down. Our tacos were really good, but they messed up several things and offered no refund. We ordered the appetizer of three dips including guacamole. They bring us out 2 cups of queso- we asked where's the guac?! Worker disappeared for a few minutes then returns to say they're out (at noon on a Friday?). OK Well we wouldn't have paid $7 for a bunch of queso. We got a variety of tacos and a family member that ordered a grilled chicken taco (he doesn't eat other meat) got a random pork taco?! Additionally, The chips were also stale to the point that half on the plate weren't edible. The worker just looked at us dazed when we showed him this and just replaced the taco. Didn't give us new chips. No refund, no apology, no discount, nothing. Huge disappointment for somewhere with potential. read more

The pork carnitas were bland and the salsa had very little flavor, but it was fine for a pickup and go kind of meal. I cannot say that I will go back for a third time.
