She asked all the questions and now I will be going back for lunch from now on. Street tacos are quick and cheap but not cheap in a bad way, its filling and includes pork, pintos, and cilantro and onions. Plenty of fresh limes and salsas to add to it. BEST TACOS I'VE EVER HAD. Seriously. So delicious and authentic, and the prices aren't too bad either! Their salsa with avocado is sooo delicious, and their child cucumbers are great little appetizers too- very refreshing. The interior is very small and they don't have ac, but that's not that big of a deal. Parking is pretty minimal, and it's kind of difficult pulling back out into the street, but not impossible. The only reason why I gave them 4 stars is because the location is in a rather seedy part of San Marcos and their bathroom is pretty gross. This is a little whole in the wall Taco Joint, but what a taco joint! The tacos are DELICIOUS!!! I love the salsas that are available. I wish there was a fountain drink, but the drinking out of a can makes it that much more authentic feeling. The location is small so know that coming in. The tacos have beans on them. Lol I really appreciate the added beans in the tacitos. *If you want them included you have to ask with everything. The salsa was good, the taste was good, the price is very fair, they make your tacos with two mini tortillas each, there's also a larger tortilla option. The tacos (minis) are truly $1.00 and its very fair. Only suggestion the meat Could have a little more seasoning but I like that its not over seasoned. The place is small, and could use a face life but with my experience (for a lack of better words) whole in the walls are always under estimated and good. but definitely worth the try, WE WILL BE BACK. Stopped by earlier today not really expecting much. I went here yesterday (Good Friday) and had to leave because they don't carry and seafood products but I was so intrigued that I had to come back the next day. They have a pretty limited menu consisting of street tacos and I believe tortas. I went for the street tacos. The adobada mini tacos are priced at $1, with the other meats priced at $1.35. A little more expensive than what was posted in some of the other reviews that I read prior to coming. For the regular sized tacos, all are priced at $1.85. I tried three mini tacos (two adobada and one tripa). The adobada was really good. I take it with the cilantro and onions but hold the beans. Very tasty and tastes similar to Tacos El Gordo, which someone else compared it too. The tripa (tripe) was just ok. It's a little tough and didn't really fit my liking. Not too bad though, and pleasing that I got to try something else for variety. They do take credit cards, which is a plus. Also interior has some serious hole in the wall motif, but it's rated an A by the Department of Public Health so don't feel too wary on coming. Hours from what they've told me: Monday: closed Tuesday-Thursday: closed at 10 pm Friday-Saturday: closed at 11 pm Sunday: not sure I didn't catch what time they opened and their hours for Sunday but hopefully that's some help for anyone trying to catch this spot while they're open. read more

Great food. However, the parking is a hassle. The tacos do come with beans. I'm not a fan of beans in my tacos so I always ask for no beans. I've never had beans in a taco before so it seems foreign to me. The quesadilla was delicious! It's a really huge portion and they really don't skimp out on the meat. There is a salsa bar with all the fixings that you want. However, if you want the roasted vegetables, you're going to have to request it in front. Limited seating and parking. The only reason I came today is to use a coupon I bought from dining advantage; buy one menu item get a less value item free. The cashier told me she was not going to accept my coupon and if I ever feel like using a coupon to come in the morning and the owner will decide whether or not he will accept it. So why are they putting themselves on dining advantage if they aren't even going to accept the coupons? Now my coupon is expired and I wasted my money. Straight up in awe of this little, unassuming taco shop. Let's get right to the point here-- the tacos are some of the best I've had in southern California. Ordered the carne asada, adobado, and Al pastor tacos in their small size. It's stuffed with pinto beans, onions, cilantro and of course the meat so it was plenty of food for my hungry stomach. All of the meat was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Add to it the impeccable salsa selection and you're in for a treat. There are three options: a smokey red salsa, salsa verde, and a creamy avocado salsa. Each of them held its own and went really great with all of the tacos. Speaking of a good treat...they also have spicy cucumbers that I couldn't stop munching on before the tacos came out.
