This little wagon is my new favorite taco spot. Some nights I find myself craving the tacos from this place! And, I've tried them all except tongue and they are simple and delicious. My favorites are the beef and pork, especially with some of their green sauce, yum! For only $1.20 per taco, you can't eat just one. I've also had the burrito with beef and it must have weighed 2-3 lbs, no kidding! But, my new favorite thing on their menu is the beef quesadilla. Went here on a lunch hour. Verdict - pretty good, but could be much better. The chicken tacos were ok, not the best. Chicken was not great quality but was edible. With the salsa they were tasty, though the meat was pretty dry. The horchata was way too sweet, no rice flavor (probably made with actual milk or with a mix). However, was thirst quenching on a hot day. Best was the chicken tamale. It was wonderful, with lots of pulled mole seasoned chicken shreds and minimal corn wrapped around, just enough to be tasty. The salsa was very nice and clearly home made. The green salsa was nicely spicy, red was smoky and a little less spicy. Both very good. Would I return? Possibly, but I would likely only order a ton more tamales and skip the other stuff. Their hours are great if you're in need of a late night Mexican fix. read more

For the first year that we lived in RI, I refused to eat from this dingy little truck with its fake horse and terrible fencing. It took a while for someone to convince me to give it a shot. If you can look past the absolutely terrible surroundings (this is a take-out only kind of place - the food truck and area are a mess), you will be delighted with the food. This is quickly made tex-mex at its best. Homemade hotsauce, slow cooked meats and great portions. The prices are reasonable for what you're getting. I love this place. Everything is fresh, and handmade. They do not skimp either and their prices are quite fair. It's a hidden gem, and the wagon styled shop with horse and rider out front only add to the charm and make it a kitschy little place that stands out even more. In the 7 years I've lived close by in Pawtucket it's had several improvements. The only thing is - parking is limited and hard to maneuver out once you're in. Several times I've gone by and there is no space to park - and since it's on a busy street you're basically out of luck. It's open practically ANYTIME you crave Mexican eats. (10am to 12am sun-thurs & open until 2 or later on Fridays & Saturdays) The food is noticeably fresh and not over seasoned. They offer the perfect portion of sauces to spice up your order too. When the days are warm, you can help yourself to picnic tables there, but they're pros at wrapping your order to go! (So good at it, I can't pick at my plate until I get it home! Which Benny appreciates because I'm the queen of splitting meals without asking!) Their tongue tacos are my personal favorite but since they are more expensive than other tacos I feel as though they should put more tongue meat on the tacos. Tacos are excellent. The tacos are the kind of great tacos I grew up on in California. You can find lots of tacos in the Salinas Valley of California that are similar to the tacos Tacos Don Nacho serves. The fact that this joint is a trailer with wooden benches outside reminds me of my time in Oaxaca Mexico, which is great. I usually visit a place twice before leaving a review, but the tacos are worth the visit and enough for a review. I could talk about the crappy tacos that are served in Rhode Island all day, but Tacos Don Nacho doesn't serve crappy RI tacos. You will find corn tortillas, very well seasoned meat and a few garnishes and nothing else. You won't find flour tortillas with lots of lettuce and weird shredded cheese because tacos like that are nasty. Eat real tacos made by the cultures that make them best. read more

What can I say, anyplace that looks like a wagon coach with a fake horse and a cowboy screams TRY ME, so I did. Wasn't the best I have ever had. I read some of the other reviews and hopefully I just had an off day with them. I ordered 2 Carnitas Tacos (steak) which were small but loaded with meat. I thought they were under seasoned and bland. I had also ordered a chicken Quesadilla which again was not very flavorful until I added the "green sauce" that they have to offer, they even referred to it by color. They buy produce daily - I often bump into the owners in line at our local market- and the freshness and flavor of the food really stands out. So I like many have driven by this place for years and have always thought, "eeewww!" But after reading all the great review from my fellow yelpers, I finally decided to give them a chance and I didn't regret it. Since this was my first visit, I kept it simple. I walked up to the cart and a very nice elderly man took my order of four chicken tacos. At the time, I was the only customer so my order only took about five minutes to come out. I decided to eat in my car but they did have a couple of picnic tables that were neat and tidy. When I got back to my car and opened to my sack, I was delighted to see 4 beautiful, although small, tacos. They had fresh cilantro and onions on top and smelled enticing. They also provide two containers of sauce. One was green and smelled peppery and garlicky, and the other was red and smelled slightly like spicy barbecue sauce. I decided to go with the green and dug in. Wow, these tacos were insanely good and wanted to kick my self in the you know what for not trying this place sooner. I thought about going back to the cart and buying a few more, they were that good! The moral of the story, don't judge a book by it's cover. The tacos were delicious . Authentic Mexican, just like the best street vendors there. They have Mexican soft drinks too. Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was they only have outside seating. It resembles a food truck/ bus except it's got no wheels. It was a windy day and we had to hang on to our napkins and plates . The whole place is tightly wrapped with chainlink fence but don't let that deter you, just step up to the window and order. They'll ring a bell when your order is up. The guy taking orders was very proud of the product . This is a big spot for the local Latinos . You gotta try it you won't be disappointed ! read more

I couldn't figure out the name of this place for the longest time. I'd pass it regularly on my lunch breaks but given that it's a sorta sketchy looking trailer in a somewhat sketchy part of pawtucket, I wasn't inclined to stop until I'd read some sort of review on it. Finally looking for tacos, I found out it was called Tacos Don Nacho, and I gotta say, this place is great! It's cash only, however everything is pretty cheap, and everything seemed really fresh. I have to say it's probably the cleanest, sketchy looking food truck ever, lol. Really wasn't worried about food poisoning as when you get close up to the ordering window you realize the place appears immaculately clean. As for the food, I tried the tongue tacos, the pastor (pork) tacos, and the carnitas (steak) tacos, as well as the tamales. The tamales are legit, cornmeal wrapped chicken cooked in a cornhusk. The tacos are doubled cornmeal soft shells filled with meat, a little shredded cheese, and fresh chopped cilantro, for $1.25 each. How was it? The tamales were good, but a little too heavy on the cornmeal imo. They put shredded lettuce and sour cream on top of the tamale, which was good, but overall, i thought the cornmeal made the tamale a little to "heavy" tasting and actually a bit dry too. Good flavor, just didn't sit all that well with me due to the "heaviness". The tacos on the other hand were amazing. The tongue and pastor tacos were phenomenal, with the pastor being my absolute favorite. They really season the pastor meat and it's really really good. The tongue tacos are just straight up beef tongue cooked well with minimal seasoning. The only taco I wouldn't bother getting again is the carnitas. It's finely chopped steak, not quite ground, not quite shaved, just sorta chopped into really small chunks. It was good, but the steak didn't appear to have much in the way of seasoning, so when compared to the other tacos, it was a bit bland. So in summary, get a bunch of pastor tacos, they're awesome. I'm intending to go back soon, just have to remember to bring cash with me. Only reasons for taking off one star is the whole cash only thing and the fact that their drink selection is pretty seriously lacking. From what I understand they have jarritos, but that's about it, but just bring a water or get the tacos to go. read more

Always fresh and flavorful. Do not be turned off by the neighborhood or question the little wagon. Look inside for urslef the cooking area is VERY clean. I have had the chevice (sp?) , tacos, quesidilla. The tacos are authentic so dont expect a choice of hard or soft (haha). You can taste the cilantro in every bite. The chicken quesidilla is HUGH and comes with a fresh side salad. Here is a hint. Ask for the green sauce on the side. It's in a little plactic container and it's free.
