I think it cost about $12 and I tipped $2, really wish I picked a different truck. I've had good food from this truck before, maybe it's just a bad day, but after that burrito, I will not go back.

The steak is flavorful and honestly some of the best carne asada I've had in a Mexican dish. The street tacos were simple and good. Carne Asada and chicken with , cilantro, onions, and their hot sauce on top. And I have to mention their hot sauce! It has been one of my favorite things about Taco Jalisco for years. It adds so much flavor without taking away from the food. The super burrito was good too, although it was on the smaller side compared to super burritos I've gotten at other places. Still, the flavor was there. The seasoned steak, rice, and house sauce all blend together really well. Their rice especially seems to soak up some of that sauce, and when you get everything together in one bite, it makes for a really flavorful burrito. El Viejon showed up at 10:30 and was nonstop until 1:30pm While we have a real mix of cultures at the auction, there are many people from Mexico and Central America. All I saw were Thumbs Up!! Each of them said to bring these people back. They talked about how authentic the food was prepared and were impressed. I feed my staff from the trailer and all 28 of them were impressed. Not a single person said anything negative. Vallejo, thesfolks are the real deal, get down and try their food.

I ordered a super carne asada burrito with everything and was not disappointed. This is the right sized burrito for $10. When I got it opened up, the first thing I noticed was that it was really hot to the touch, which means they grill it after they roll it and then wrap it up. My first bite was mostly beans and rice, which worried me a bit, but after a couple bites, I was into the good stuff. The carne asada, combined with crema and chili, had great, authentic Mexican flavor. My wife and I split it, and it was plenty for both of us. It came with some chips and a little cup of salsa that wasn't that tasty, but I appreciate them throwing in some chips. Definitely would hit this truck again. Service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was parking lot with a view of interstate 80.
