The rice was so fragrant especially cooked with kefir lime leaves, and the chicken was so so juicy, the pork belly so so tender and i LOVED the sauce that accompanied the plates. Flavor profile really reminds me of a mix between Vietnamese and Thai food (which kind of makes sense lol) but it still has a unique flavors/twist to it that I thoroughly enjoyed. One taking orders, one prepping and cutting the al pastor meat, and another preparing orders. We ordered four al pastor tacos and an al pastor burrito. The meat was tender and full of flavor. There were several sauces to choose from to the side as well as side condiments such as raddish, cucumbers, pico de gallo, white onion, and my favorite cilantro. Our order contained meat and cheese with some pineapple on the tacos and we added side and condiments to our liking. I would definitely return when in town because the food was very good. We ordered on a Friday night and we went back on Monday but was a bit bummed that the food stand was not there. After looking at the hours of operation and Mondays are the only day they are closed. Rajas con queso is jalapeño and bell pepper I believe with cheese. Frijoles is black beans with some yucatan peninsula herb.
